Zutao and the rest of the Koga's crept foreward. They were getting close to the boarder now, and a spot where there were few guards. Zutao's group went over first and made it a small way into the trees. The second group them came, accompanied by an echoing snap.
"If we get out of this alive, whoever did that is going to pay." swore Zutao under his breath.

Aiko had just rejoined the the shinobi she had just spoken with some time before when she heard the snap. Meeting her eyes with one of their leaders, she slowly nodded. "They are here," her gaze sent a silent warning to all present. With that her hand slowly strayed to her poison darts as her eyes scanned the darkness. I pray Cora is well, she thought to herself. As long as she, the lord and lady are safe-our lives are inconsequential.

The second group rejoined them. "Congratulations, we have now lost the elemant of surprise." Hissed Zutao angrily. He turned to Yashamaru and spoke quitely so the others wouldn't hear. "Well, what do you think, Kuroda-bee didn't say what his backup plan was."

"Aiko-san gather reinforcements," the leader of the company told her. "We shall hold the front." Aiko slowly nodded as she retreated back into the shadows. Easily maneuvering within the shadows, she swiftly made her way to another company. Whispering the news to the leader, the shinobi nodded at her and signaled some of his men to move through the castle and make their way to the first group. With a final nod she made her way through the rest of the castle to warn the guards.

Kuroda looked carefully around, then summoned the wind once again. Going as swiftly as was safe, he arrived at his home and flew into his rooms through the open window. He set Cora down gently on the edge of his bed. "Wait here. Do not go out of this room until I get back. I am your only friend here." He strode back to the window and looked out at the sky, "I need to go now, the moon is nearly at it's zenith."

Giving Cora a small smile, he climbed back onto the window's edge and spread his cloak out. Catching the wind, he flew out across the land, looking for his men.

(Somebody from Kuroda's clan needs to spot him...)

The Seemingly Nice But Actually Really Nasty Nazgul
School ate my life. *sigh*

Yashamaru crept to the edge of the woods and placed his hands infront of him, and with the slightest jerk, his ebon rope that was around his fore-arms was let loose. And flew foreward and wrapped it'self around the closest guard(a no-name shinobi I guess). The guard wasn't sure why he couldn't move until he saw the thin rope glimmer in the moonlight. But, by then it was too late. Yashamaru touched one strand and the strands cut the guard into pieces. The Ebon Rope then came back to wrap itself around Yashamaru's arms. Even though alot of it had been used to reach the guard and wrapp around him, there was still plenty while that was happening wrapped around his arms alone.

Just then he looked up and saw the Kuroda flying above them...
{he spotted him }
(I found out in the anime... Yashamaru has a fan-girl... lol!)

Aiko took a defense stance as a Koga shinobi (an unknown one) blocked her path. Drawing her sai as he drew his sword, both leaped into the air and locked their blades in combat. Finding an opening, she slashed the shinobi across the chest before slitting his throat. Without glancing back, as her opponent crumpled to the ground, she continued make her way across their wall.

(Hey Anduril-our characters should probably run into each other at some point of the battle)

(okay but not that love at first sight yeah. 'cos we always do that and it always drags on for months. How about lust at first sight. Along the lines of ' i'm going to kill you baka, ooops i acidently kissed you' ?)

Zutao cut down the two unnamed shinobi next to him. They were dead, but just to make sure, he slit thier throughts open. He looked up and saw one of thier Shinobi (Enerial)makeing thier way across the Koga wall. He threw a blade, spinning into the tree next to them. "Damn"

(Yeah, I was thinking something like that or along the line that initially they don't like each other [well Aiko would probably be angry when she sees the bodies of her comrades]-then things change after awhile-whether you want it lust first and then love it does not really matter with me)

Aiko looked at the blade embedded within the tree and then at her two fallen comrades, feeling an intense anger fill her soul. Leaping off the wall, she landed in front of the shinobi (Zutao).

"Who are you?" she asked him.
