Thandwen stroked her white skirt of her dress(that looks much like the dress of the lady in my siggy).
"I am Thandwen Roquenheri, as you can see. Which trasnlates to Shieldmain Ladyknight or rider. The first name is Sindarion, the second is Quenya," she said, and listened as the music started up.
"Anyone care to dance?"

A woman in a dress of crisp light blue and white appeared among the guests. "Hello, all," she said in a melodious voice. "I am called Silent Night." She curtsied. "I am pleased to meet and re-meet you," she said, smiling.

Zamietatene curtsied back to Snowflake.
"I am afraid that I would not have been able to guess," she smiled.
"Guessing names is not one of my specialty's, seeing how I have trouble even remembering them." She turned to Silent Night and again curtsied.
"Greetings, Silent Night. I am Zamietatene." Turning back to Snowflake, she said, "If you will excuse me, I am going to the refreshment table." Zamietatene walked over to the table and selected a tray of baby carrots. She whistled and the guinea pigs ran from their various places in the room over to her. Placing the tray down, she smiled fondly.
"You can all munch on this until I want you again. Don't worry, you will all probably still be eating when it is time to leave. Have a good time."

Noel looked about the room and smiled at all the newcomers, “welcome, everyone! Wow, so many lovely costumes for the Masquerade!” she clapped her hands gleefully and began mingling with the crowd. "Silent Night, you look lovely! I love the costume. Thandwen, you look wonderful as well! And so many others too!" she admired the whole room, "Wow, and I actually know JF." she giggled.

"Hello, Zamieta, Reinette, Noel, and Snowflake!" Silent Night said. She turned to Reinette and responded, "Oh, I know! This day is going all too fast." She also thanked Noel for the compliment on her costume. "It's really not so complex," she said, blushing. "I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who was inspired by a carol!"

"I would have done my favorite carol, but then it just might be too obvious who I am at this Masquerade at the upcoming events," Thandwen said, as she walked over to the group, noting no one wanted to dance.

"hmm, that's interesting, Snowflake." Noel gave her a suspicious, playful look, “oh and I do like your snowflake icon! So pretty!” She turned to Silent Night, “complex or not, it’s still pretty.” she smiled, “no, I was inspired by a carol as well. I thought ‘what better to “wear” to a Christmas ball than something to do with a Christmas carol?'.”
she turned to welcome Thandwen to the group. "oh, dancing! How wonderful sounding! If only it was earlier... as it is it's almost time to take the masks off" she added, a little saddened that the first part of the Masquerade was almost over.

"Well, if the Masquerade is almost over, we'be quickly talk some more to get to know our masked selves better. Hm... Wonder if there are any cookies around. Or chocolate. Or fudge! I love fudge!" Thandwen said, looking around, and finding the snack table where she picked up a piece of fudge and stuffed it into her mouth...

'everyone picked out such beautiful names! Mine was rather hurried. It means "Starry Twilight". I took it in honour of my favourite part of the Christmas story: the wise men leaving everything to follow a star to worship Jesus.'

"Yes, tis a very pretty name," said Leia to Elenuia. "And that's a beautiful part of the story. We'll unmask at some point between tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping to get on later tonight, though I may have to stay as Leia until sometime tomorrow afternoon. I hope that helps."
She turned to Thandwen and took a piece of fudge for herself. "You said something about dancing? Why not? Let's start!" Leia grabbed ''Han's'' hands and headed to the floor while the music started up.

"Elenuial is still beautiful. And, tonight or tomorrow morning you take of the mask, but don't tell anyone who you were with your mask. Then on the 27th you put your mask back on. And that's when you reveale yorself"
She turned to Leia and nodded. She started dancing by herself, since her date didn't want to come to the Masquerade...
