Eruraina set down her flute as the orcestra started to play. Murtagh came up and held a hand and asked her to dance. Rain nodded, and then walked out to the dance floor.

They started dancing as well, staring into eachother's eyes. Murtagh into Rain's green-blue eyes, and Rain into Murtagh's brown eyes..

Caunion accepted Ms.G's hand and said fondly, "And to you, too." Once inside the ballroom, a pretty waltz was being played by the small orchestra. He gestured to the dance floor and asked, "Madame?"

I was cured all right.

Larael and Severus stood quietly apart from the dancing couples watching in silence. For now they beamed contentedly at the couples in the room as Larael remarked to her husband every once in a while about the ladies' dresses the general decor of the room. As the orchestra started up a stately waltz Snape finally offered his hand with a smile and a slight bow of his head and the two waltzed off onto the dance floor.

[You can tell I've just been doing some Jane Austen movie marathons.. ]

Brother Captain Lamenter wandered into the Ballroom almost absent mindedly. He had heard music, and having a slight liking for classical type stuff, decided to wander in. He saw people dancing, and since he was wearing his armour (though the servos made him faster than most people) he decided to sit down and listen to the music. He wasnt much for dancing, but at least there was some people he knew.
He waved at Caunion and Larael, both of whom seemed occupied with dancing.

Elenya strolled into the ballroom, watching couple waltz around the dance floor. She grabbed an empty chair and sat down, enjoying the music. The orchestra was definitely worth listening to.

Lamenter noticed that Elenya had walked into the room. He got up from the chair, only to be accosted by a waiter who insistd on offering him canapes.
"I don't want one mate, i just wanna meet someone over there" Lamenter said
"But sir, you must have zees. Zees canapes were made by ze finest chef in all of paris!" replied the waiter in his fake French accent.
Lamenter sighed, this happened way too often. He hit the waiter with his deactivated powerfist, and with the muscles of his arm, the waiter flew out of a window. He walked over to Elenya and hugged her. "Heya Mum, how are you today? Enjoying the music?" he said

Elenya hugged Lamenter back. "I'm good, son, and I do like the music! How are you doing?"

"Aye Im good Ma. I really don't like the waiters here though. Too much in your face. Bands good though. Ive not been up to much really, just knocking about here and there. What about yourself Ma?" replied Lamenter

"I know what you mean, I've been sneaking around to avoid the waiters." Elenya grinned. "I'm not up to much, either. Just hangin' out. Is this the first ball you've been to?"

"Nah, I went to several before this. First one was the Christmas one last year" said Lamenter smiling. "I must say, I did regret some things to do with that ball, but nevermind that. How was your christmas? Hope you had a good time and all" said Lamenter curiously
