So, did anybody get any wonderful Lord of the Rings-related gifts this year for Christmas? :]
I received The Silmarillion from my mother and The Children of Húrin from my boyfriend, so I am all set for my reading material for this holiday break from school. Hopefully I'll be able to do another giant LotR EE movie marathon with my sister sometime before I go back to school. ^^

I got the Atlas of Middle Earth and a copy of my family's 3-hour-long fan movie and a poster that went with the movie.

I got: a 2008 Poster calendar,
a Children of Hurin calendar,
Rise of the Witch King(The Battle for Middle Earth) calendar
And a Hobbit scarf, made of the same wool that the Elven cloaks are made of. It was a wonderful gift, and it's so soft.... *pets*

Nope, no LotR realited gifts this year. Earlier this year, my birthday gifts were most LotR realited so I guess it's not so bad.

It's so..I dunno...plastic usually, and many of those things are so unpersonal and made a 200 at once..and even though I'm a teenage girl, I really dislike posters etc in general. I'm weird But a replica of Nenya...that IS a great gift Firiel!
That is amazing! I remember seeing all of these LotR replicas in the Franklin Mint catalogue and drooling over them copiously. :]

I actually only got one LOTR thing this year, a 2008 calendar...but I did get a lot of POTC things, so I didn't mind too much.

This was kinda more of a POTC and Spider-Man Christmas for me...
*hides from the oncoming lynch mobs*
...but I did get one AMAZING thing: a real gold One Ring! It's so pretty, and the writing looks just like the stuff in the book! I had an aluminum one or something like that but this one looks sooo much better. My amazing friend (actually, he's kinda my boyfriend...but anyway) Devon got it for me. And I bought myself the poster calendar, but I'm not sure that counts.
My aunt and uncle also got me The Children of Húrin because I forgot to tell them I had that one, but oh well.

I got tons of LotR gifts
Okay not tons... but a few
I got the Children of Húrin from a friend and the FotR Limited Edition from another one of my best friends because I was having tons of trouble finding it in stores.
I also got myself a box set of the LotR EE's because I wanted the box

^Hahah I just bought that! And no offense to Bakshi, but it was so hilariously sucky I couldn't stop crying/laughing while watching it.
