Rip my heart, break my bone,
Stop my start, block light once shone.
Crush my lungs, dull my mind,
Block tongue, hide peace to find.
Shoot me in the back, stab me with a knife.
Strangle me to death, take away my life.
Burn me in the flame, devide my life once whole,
Curse my very name, Just don't betray and crush my soul.

Nice very effective outcome, quite dramatic. I love it

Very nice, Jax. I also like the dramatic effect. Good word choice.

Well... (I always find answering this question dificult)
Most of my poetry doesn't have a specific event or anything that inspires it but it is usually a direct outcome of my current emotional state.
This one was brought on by some trouble in my family that didn't so much hurt me but made me realize something about myself.
I don't trust people ever... because I always feel that they are going to betray me for some reason.
I guess I'm paranoid. *shrugs* But that's the basic turn of events that lead to this poem.
