Kuroda watched in silence as Zutao and Aiko fought. He had landed softly on the ground behind a small rise when Yashamaru had seen him and was now peering over the top of said rise.

The wind was first to alert him, but a soft footfall was next. Kuroda spun around. Behind him was a (random, no one in particular) Shinobi, eyes blazing with hate and sword upraised with the intent of striking him down. With a practiced flik of his wrist, Kuroda brought out his katana and, in the same motion, killed the Shinobi. Rising once again into the air, Kuroda looked for his Shinobi, hoping to spot danger before they could be hurt or killed.

Aiko cursed silently, understanding at once the predicament she was in. Her fire power would be rendered useless by the water, but she had another weapon she could use-a power that had only revealed itself once and one that could only be conjured by pure rage. No. she told herself. I will find another way, knowing that once the energy was released it would be impossible for her to control the damage. Instead, she closed her eyes and focused on her inner strength. She knew that time she had to conserve whatever air she had remaining. Snapping her eyes open she focused her energy and struck the ice, smiling slightly as it began to crack.

Zutao smiled. Despite her being the enemy he found himself likeing her; alot. He slashed his katana through the ice pushing her aginst a tree. He smiled at her lustily before he kissed her rouchly, pinning er arms above her head.

Aiko's eyes widened in shock as Zuato kissed her. She struggled to free her arms from his powerful grip, but found she was powerless to do so. What should I do? she wondered, immediately realizing her vulnerability should he decide to strike next with his kitana. How she despised the shinobi for this, and yet there was a part of her that could not hate him-a part of her that had grown to like him during the battle more than she had liked any man. What should I do? she thought yet again.

Zutao felt her struggle and smiled; likeing her all the more. But he guessed why she was worried and broke the kiss. "I'm not going to hurt you" he whispered sensually, letting his katana fall to the ground. He still did not completely trust her however, so as he kissed her neck, he kept one of his hands pinning her arms above her head, whilst the other traveled freely down her body.

Aiko lowered her guard somewhat as she saw him purposely drop his kitana. For once in her life, she found herself completely torn. A part of her liked this man-enemy though he was, and the other part warred against such feelings. You are a shinobi-a shadow in the darkness, emotions of the soul are a luxury you can not afford. Suddenly she tensed once again. Just don't let him dishonor me. she thought to herself as she attempted to break free.

"Hn" He let go of her hands and stepped away from her. "I won't do anything you don't want me to, but let us have a truce, if only for a few minuits between us." He asked softly, looking lustfully into her eyes, before kissing her on the mouth, softly this time and licking her lips; begging for entrance.

Aiko smiled gently up at Zutao and gently caressed his cheek. "Zutao-kun, I like you...a lot more than I have any man. But I just can't-to do so will bring great dishonor," she started to shift toward a sitting position, hoping not to incur his anger. "And would make everything you said about me earlier true," she added with a smirk. If it is not so already. she thought to herself.

Zutao closed his eyes as she touched him and leaned towards her unconsiousely. Then lifted her hand to his lips and caressed each finger hungrily. "I understand" He sighed getting off her and allowing her to sit up against the tree. He sat down next to her and turned her face to he was looking into her eyes "I'm still going to kiss you though" He smirked pulling her to him.

(It's ok, I was trying to head off an unwelcome situation with my parents if it went any further. They are already wary of internet sites.)
The wind brought unwelcome news to Kuroda, his friend's voice, speaking of kissing during a battle. No, just a figment of my imagination!He couldn't be..., but the more logical side of his mind told him otherwise. Turning around he soared back over the rise he had landed behind, then landed at the edge of the trees, where he saw Zutao's katana lying on the ground. He picked it up and headed in the direction of voices. Pushing back the foliage, his eyes took in the scene.

Zutao and an enemy Shinobi, seated on the ground, up against a tree. He was pulling the enemy toward him, with the visable intent of kissing her. Kuroda felt a boiling rage well up inside him, and he unconciously summoned fire around his balled up fists. In a low and controlled voice that masked deadly anger, he spat out, "What on bloody earth do you think you are doing?"
