Can't wait to see this completed. Are we still summarizing ideas for category ideas?

:D Yay!
Hmm, we have quite a few catergories at the moment. How many do the RP'ers have? I don't think it would be fair to have more categories than them.

Well it may be neat if a winner for a graphics award makes an award for another winner in a different category---that may be get a bit confusing though.

That would be a neat idea. I wouldn't say only one person makes the awards because it is way too ackward making an award for yourself, in my opinion.
I should be able to deligate with your idea, though, Kit.
Hmm... the RPG Awards have quite a few from the last time I looked, at least more than us so far.
If we can get a list of all of the awards together, I should be able to have polls up by this weekend. [crosses fingers]

Are not going to nominate people for each category first? And then from those that are chosen, there is to be polls?

Yes.. true, I wasn't thinking last night.
But, before that. We need to be clear on what the catergories are.

I have losts of time on my hands to do these right now... so I complied a list:
Graphic Makers:
-Best Banners
-Best Blends
-Best Avatars
-Best Colorizations
-Most Flexible (Able to make the most variety of graphics)
-Most Unique Graphics
-Most Dependable (Turning in Graphics on time for contests and finishing graphics in a timely manner for requests)
-Most Involved (has a graphic thread, participates in contests, runs claims)
Contests:
-Most Dependable Contest Host (Starts and Ends Contests on time, keeps track well, etc.)
-Best Long-Run Contest (over # rounds)
-Best Short-Run Contest (under # rounds)
-Most Involved Contest Host (Will take over someone's contest if asked, volunteers, etc.)
Any other ideas welcome, and I need a # for the "# of rounds" in the Contest Awards part.

For # of rounds for Short/Long-Run contests, I suggest 15 to be a good number. Under 15 could be for short-run contests and over 15 could be long-run contests.

Thank you. After looking at the contest themselves, I would say that number would be good also.

Wow, those are good categories.
Can I ask though, will there only be one award for each category?
There are a couple of people on here who I can see possibly winning a couple of those categories, and I think it would be unfair if two or three people won quite a few, so if there was a Honourable Winner as well or something.... ?
Just a thought.
I can't think of any other categories we would need, that list is very thorough.

I was thinking about the same thing JF. I was wondering if we should possibly have 2-3 winners for each catergory, like a first second and third place?

Yes, I think that would be a great idea. It's not like the member awards, so I see no reason why there couldn't be something like "Winner" perhaps and then "Second Place" and "Third Place". So it's a little bit different from the contest titles, but it also means quite a few people should win something.
It would be pretty embarassing if the same people came out on top, and no-one else benefited from the polls.

I put the difference in catergories in order to try and prevent that. Can you think of any other ways in order to prevent the situation?

Well you're not really going to get away from the fact that some people may well win more than one category, but at least coming second and third will mean you will an award. Personally with graphics contests I don't like it if there is only one award, as usually the votes are so close, it seems a bit unfair.
