He got minor injuries, I think, such as bruises, but nothing as bad as the female passenger... I'm disappointed in him, quite frankly, as it's more than likely that he was drunk. But I don't know for sure.

Oh no! I've been hearing hints of him getting a little out there...I mean, he's Orlando Bloom. He would be recognized all over the world. Think how nerve wracking that would be. I feel sorry for him. I pray he does not end up like so many celebrities that fall to the dark side of fame (nice phrase, but I stole it) and get his name in the tabloids for attempted suicide or self-harm or such.

^i would hate it if that happened.personally i do not think he was drunk,even though some magazines later claimed he was.they didnt even mention that he was run of the road by another car.anyway at least theyve let it die now and are leaving the poor bloke alone.

Mrs. Malfoy, Nothing to be embarrassed about. I squeeled when orli came on for the first time in the AWE film. He is he is way cute...it is hard not to squeel. lol

Miluiel Evenstar, He was involved in a car accident?! (starts re-searching Orli's car accident) (sighs) Well, personaly I am not sure what to think. if he was drunk...then I do not feel one bit sorry for him...he should have known better. However the cops say that he was neither drunk or speeding (I am going on that because that is the only information on that subject that I have been able to locate.) Plus I kind of feel like if they thought that he was drunk enough that they could pursue it, that they would have hauled him off to jail (as they had no problem doing so to Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, etc). So if he was not drunk or speeding...than more than likely the other driver did run him off the road. Whicn I can beleive...it has happened before with photographers. No offence meant. Just my opinion...guess really, as I do not feel that I have enough information to give anything more than a Guess as to what might have happened. The whole thing just worries me. Thanks for letting us know about it though. Oh, and I hope that I have neither offended anyone or got to close to talking about politics...if I did I honestly apologize.
I heard that there is actual footage of him before and after the crash...does anyone know if there is any footage of the actual crash?

Allonde, I hope that he does not become like many other celbs as well...that really worries me. (sighs)

@Allonde: I know, me too. But it was really disappointing all the same.

@Goldelf: As for whether or not he was drunk, I believe almost nothing that I hear in magazines as well. But since he was coming from a bar and form several quotes heard by others, it's likely that he was, but I don't know enough about it to have an informed opinion on that. And I was crying when Will was stabbed, too, lol.

@Drew's Destiny: I squealed too! Lol. And when I saw DMC with my friends, we saw it the day it opened in a small Toronto theatre, and we were pretty much the only ones in the theatre, so when he gets lead up by the soldiers, they all turned around and looked at me because they all knew how I felt about Will, XD. I squealed then, too.

It came as a surprise to me as well. I heard about it a few months ago, but it wasn't that big during the summer, I take it. I don't hear much about the whole celebrity world because I don't really buy into it, but my friends do so they usually keep me somewhat informed, and they ALWAYS give me Orly news. But I didn't hear a word about this until about September.

You make a valid point, though. He probably wasn't drunk, and when a celebrity is invloved, it gets shot through the roof and then they start trying to manufacture things to get a bigger story out of it.

Yeah, I don't either. But no one thought Britney Spears would end up the way she did, nor Lindsay Lohan, and those two have really made a mess of things. He's not perfect, but he's doing a lot better than a lot of the "stars".

I agree, he hasn't gotten sued, gotten a girl pregnant (that we know of...), gotten in some huge controversy, or done anything else like that. Not half bad for an actor so popular.
