I know that one too.  I always heard it with, "and if you eat it, you die" at the end as well.

Not that I am giving up...but I am incredibly frustrated on this riddle.I have just spent over two hours working on this and I have a lot of possibilities, but there is always one of the parts that doesn't make sense.
Where on earth did you get this one?
And yeah, don't give up the answer on the other one yet, it's funny when you've heard it before but only if it stumps you for a while.

I know that one... It's ___... should I say? lol! When I first heard it I was stumped.
And, I found that one on this other LotR forum where they were playing a riddle game. Thats a riddle that someone else used.
And those answers are wrong.

I know the answer to Vala's riddle, because I've heard it before, but Eru's has got me stumped, but I do have a guess. (Which, like my last one, is probably pitifully incorrect.)
