eeep!!!  I am so excited!!! So everything's settled and ready?!?! oooo *bounces around in excitement* aww, man! But I might not be able to get on tomorrow... oh, well, there's always the next day, I suppose!  anyway, I can't wait!!!  so I play: Beckett, Barbossa, Carmon, Emma, Charlotte, and Cole and Gwen? Ok... I'm gonna have to keep all the personalities and stories straight!

The soft breeze drifting from the ocean turned the air cold, unusually so for this time of year in the Caribbean. Keyara Pierce pulled the tattered brown overcoat tighter around her shivering form. Of all nights to ambush a group of pirates, it had to be tonight, the coldest Tortuga had seen in a very long time. Glancing to her right, she spoke calmly to Lord Cutler Beckett, head of the East India Trading Company. "Are you sure about this, Cutler?" Keyara caught his gaze, searching his eyes.
The light and noises of the tavern spilled out into the city streets as a tall man slipped out the door and onto the porch of the Bloody Mary Inn. His green eyes glanced upwards as he leaned on the railing and watched the stars. While the others were inside celebrating a narrow escape from the Royal Navy, Edward Blackhaven had decided to spend some time outside and think over some things. Aware that someone had joined him, he glanced over and smiled.

James Norrington sat in a lonely corner in the Bloody Mary Inn and laughed on the irony of his life: less than a few months earlier he'd hunted these pirates, he even recognised some of the faces from posters in Port Royal. And now.. he was drinking the same booze as them, he was as low as them. And all of that because of Sparrow.. Turner.. He had an endless list of names to blame, but most of all he blamed himself. He emptied his mug in one single gulp and staggered to the bar to ask for something stronger. "The strongest you can have" he added. Alcohol was good.. only then he was able to forget..

Sam walked into the dark night and noticed the figure of Edward on the porch. "Ed?" she called out. "What are ye doin' outside? Before ye know it all the rum will be gone and then ye " -she pricked with her finger in his chest- "will turn in Mr Grumpy." Only then she noticed another woman standing next to him. Sam watched her suspiciously and said: "Who are ye?"

"I love the Bloody Mary Inn! Drinks all around!" Captain Sparrow held a bottle of rum in each hand and a smile on his face. He was sauntering across the floor, waving his drinks in the face of anyone who would listen. As usual, he was more than slightly drunk. Taking a mighty swig out of one of the half-empty bottles, he sat down heavialy at a rickety table, across from a girl who looked very similar to himself, sans the beard, of course. "So, Gwennie, now what?" he asked pleasently.

Captain Nighthawk grimised slightly as her favorite uncle came staggering across the tavern, rum bottle in each hand. Sure she liked a good rum once in a while, in fact she was drinking one at that very moment, but to be blatently drunk in front of gobs of people was ridiculus. Still, she had to smile when her uncle called her by his pet name for her, though the question was a bit vauge. "I don't know uncle, how about we find Will and talk to him. He's bound to be around here somewhere."

(that twas AMAZING, Ara!  and all of you guys are doing grand! I loved the Norrie intro, Will! The poor guy!  )
Lord Cutler Beckett of the East India Trading Company led a group of his men silently through the bustling and brawling of Tortuga's streets. They had caught a pirate ship a few miles away, after it had left Tortuga, only hours before, they had imprisoned the pirates and come to Tortuga on board that vessel so as not to be noticed. He had dressed to blend in, although he only wore a slightly beat up and dirtied cloak to cover his finer clothing underneath. He looked over at Keyara and only nodded. Of course he was sure about this. What could go wrong? He knew that before too long he would have Jack Sparrow in his hands and all these other filthy pirates. He nodded over at Mercer, the signal to begin to split up and search out the tavern they occupied.

(I have a question... when exactly does this take place? Or is it just sort of an imagined time.  Because technically Barby and Tia couldn't be on Tortuga when Norrie is there.... anyway, I guess I could bring in Cole to be outside with Ed, Sam and Alex)
Hearing voices outside, Cole Applegate, a dark haired, blue eyed young man, exited the tavern where he had been holding a lively conversation with his sister, Carmon, and a few of the others. "Oh," he went over to Edward and the two other women and smiled, "what're you doin', Ed?" he turned to Sam and nodded and smiled, "Sam". But when his eyes landed on Alex a slight frown crossed his face. He hadn't seen her before, at least not that he remembered.
