More than likely, you won't be....
For rules...
I would set the theme.
-An original picture of yours.
-Post before and after photo.
-Can touch up the photo in a graphic program
-Size: 600x400, 700x500, or 800x600
Touchups allowed...
-Lighting.
-retouching face of scars, acne, etc.
-Cropping
Touchups not allowed...
-Recoloring.
-Brushes, textures, text, etc.

I would agree with that also. Many people don't realize that when starting contests, and so the contests don't work all that well. I will admit, I have made that mistake before.

Sounds like this is shaping up well! One suggestion with the themes, is to choose themes that are "world-wide". Example: People living in certain areas might have a hard time with a theme of "snow" or "Fall colors" or the like.

I would say flowers... because people don't typically go outside to take a picture of a tree....

Same here..
I have found that most anything looks good at an angle.
I took a picture of my chair the other day, and it turned out really well.. I will have to find it and put it on my graphics thread.

Yeah, I reckon there is at least 2,000. I am rather click-happy.
And with my new camera the files are so big, I can't really keep many on the computer at all, which is a bit of a pain.
I'm trying to get a Coppermine gallery up and running as part of my resources section, but it's very complicated.
Yesss, we needss it preciousss... we wantsss it....
