Anika smiled. "Ok. Come on Shinu." She called, and her dauheter followed her mother and Kagome into the shack, giggling all the way. Anika Smiled at her daughter and was suprised to see another woman with brown hair (Sango). "Hello." She greeted.

Kagome smiled. "Sango ... I'd like you to meet my cousin Anika and her daughter Shinu. Anika this is Sango."

Sango sat petting Kelala. She looked up when Kagome entered and introduced Anika. "Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you." Kelala jumped from her lap intrigued witht he small child. She rubed against Shinu's legs puring.

Anika bowed. "Mine too." She looked at her daughter and Kelala. "I think tou fire cat like my daughter." She said as Shinu sqealed in delight and played with the Fire demon saying "Soft kitty."

Sango nodded, "Yes Kelala likes just about everyone."

Shippo chose that moment to run through the door and hide behind Kagome. "He's after me!" Kagome looked up to see a rather irritated Inuyasha standing in the doorway.

Inuyasha growled. "Why you little."

Shinu cowered as Inuyasha growled and yelled. "Doggy scary." She whimpered holding onto Kelala.

Anika just glared at Inuyasha.

Kagome noticed Shinu cowering away from Inuyasha and glared at him. "Inuyasha..." She said softly reaching out to Shinu. "Sit boy!"

Inuyasha slamed into the ground, swering under his breath. This earned a giggle from Shinu who was now in Kagomes Arms. "Doggy fall." She said.

Anika smiled at the effect those word had. Suddenly she turned her head toward the window. 'Your near by aren't you my love, can you smell my scent, your daughters?' She sighed as she let her thoughts drift, not realiseing how close her beloved was.

Shippo peeked out from behind Kagome, then nearly jumped out of his skin as Kelala rubbed up against him.

Anika wasn't paying any attention, her mind elsewhere, so she diddn't notice the man that showed up.

Miroku returned to where he knew Sango was waiting, and if he was lucky, Inuyasha had returned with Kagome. As he entered the shack, he suddenly fell over, having tripped over Inuyasha. "Inuyasha, is there no where else you could go to sleep?" He aske with some humor.

Inuyasha muttered. "Get off Monk."

All this time Shinu kept laughing, drawing Shippos attention to her.

Kagome giggled and Songo tried hard not to. Shippo was captivated by the small child gigaling on Kagome's lap.

"Anika..." Kagome said pulling her cousin's attention away fron the window.

Ankia turned, missing the glint of gold out side in the trees. "Yeah?"

Shinu turned and noticed Shippo and tilted her head in curiosty, then she saw his tail and decided to go after it.

Sesshomaru stood on the top of a hill not far from the village where Anika was staying. The last rays of sunlight glinted off his sword. I know your scent belovid ... I am comming. He glanced over at Rin who slept streached out on Ahh and Uom's back. "Watch over her Jaken." He said as he started walking toward the village.

Shippo backed away from the small hands that gripped his tail. "Hey now... yes it's attached ... stop that."

Kagome watched amused, then turned her attention back to Anika. "So ... Do you know Shinu's father's name? It would make searching for him a little easier."

Sango sat and listened, with Kelala once again curled up on her lap, this time asleep.

Anika smiled. "Yes, I know his name." She closed her eyes as she pictured the mans face. "Sesshomaru."

Shinu Giggled. "Soft." She kept saying.

Kagome's eyes went wide and Sango's head came up with a jerk. "Sesshomaru!" They both said at the same time. Kagome looked over at Inuyasha. "Well that explains alot." She looked back at Anika. "Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's older brother, and not very easy to find."

Shippo finally gave up and crossed his arms over his chest letting the small girl play with his tail.

Sango spoke up. "If Sesshomaru is her father and you are her mother ... that would make her a half demon like Inuyasha. That's rather supriseing for one like Sessomaru."

Anika smiled. "I suspected Inuyasha was related to him. And yeah, it took awhile for him to like me. And the thing with Shinu, he doesn't even know He has a daughter, some times I wonder if he knew I was pregenent when we saw each other last."

Shinu played with the tail but then came around and looked at Shippo, and giggled.

Shippo looked down at the silver haired child in front of him. "What's so funny?" He demanded a little irritated with her antics.

Sango looked over at Inuyasha and Miroku. "Do you think there is any chance of finding him for her?"

Kagome looked back at Shippo and Shinu. they looked so cute together.
