Alex frowned. Something felt off. She looked around, wondering if perhaps the navy had found them. She tensed, but said nothing.

Edward glanced back to find that Cole had joined him and Sam. "Somethin's out there... but what I don't know for sure..." Looking at Sam he nodded, his green eyes alert. He kept his pistol out, even as Sam began towards the tavern. "Aye - but don't let yer guard down... there's no telling what could happen." Edward slowly moved towards the door, stopping once to scan the streets before going back inside.

Vari raised an eyebrow while the other stayed normal. "So it be Jack that's got ye bent out of shape?" She had never heard something so... absurd in the twenty-seven years she was alive. Then grinning she added, "But ye know yer still my favorite Captain, Hector."

Keyara stared down at her and Beckett's feet for a few minutes. "It's not that I don't trust you..." She paused, bringing herself to look up into his eyes. "Cutler... I do, but..." Keyara stopped herself. She didn't want to make it sound like she was against his ways of doing things.

Elizabeth skimmed the area of the bar. Everything was just the way she had left it. All were drinking, dancing, and fighting. Right in the middle of this glance was when Elizabeth noticed Jack. She walked over soon enough to overhear Alex. "What is wrong?" Elizabeth questioned, "why are we leaving?"

Cole drew out his own pistol and nodded. He quickly followed Sam and Edward back to the tavern door. He tried to looks as nonchalant as possible, like it was any other time, but it was hard when all of a sudden a chill had crept into him. He ducked into the tavern and waited just inside for Edward.

Barbossa glowered over at Vari. Jack was always the one who got on people's nerves, wasn't he? Jack was, simply put, a nuisance more than a help most of the time. Not all the time, only most of the time. He couldn't help but add that, although he didn't like to admit it. "am I now?" he chuckled and took a drink of the ale, "and why be that, Ms. Pierce? I though ye was Jack's friend."

Beckett didn't answer, he only stared at her, waiting. But every now and then he'd quickly look back to make sure the men were moving as planned. He turned back to her and finally broke the silence, "these are filthy, rum-soaked pirates, and we are some of the best England can offer. Nothing can go wrong." he wasn't exactly comfortable with Keyara acting like this. Was he not the Lord of the Company? Everyone took orders from him and obeyed them without question. Why was he letting her second guess him anyway?

Charlotte Percy, a dark haired, gray/green eyed young woman, overheard Elizabeth and Alex talking. She put down her mug of rum, excused herself from where she sat and ventured over to them. "what's wrong?" she asked, looking back and forth between Alex and Elizabeth. "what can you feel?"

Will took a deep breath and looked around the pub area. He couldn't see Elizabeth anywhere and it was starting to worry him. "Elizabeth!" He shouted loudly, while letting his eyes dart all across the room.

Sam walked over to Vari and glanced for a moment at Barbossa. She'd never really liked him and he knew. After turning her back at him, she tapped her friend lightly on the shoulder and said quietly. "Somethin' is wrong. There are people outside who do not belong here."

Norrington noticed alot of pirates entering the pub, whispering to each other and he felt the atmosphere in the pub changing rapidly. He quickly got on his feet, with the remaining logic which wasn't yet affected by the alcohol he concluded that whatever was happening, he didn't want to be part of it. He glanced towards the exit of the Bloody Mary Inn but in the middle of the act he froze, stumbled and fell over. As he lay on the filthy floor, he shook his head groggy. It couldn't be true..the alcohol had caused this hallicunation. There was no such delusion as Elizabeth Swann in Tortuga. _________________

Elizabeth's head shot towards the area where the shout came from. She could recognize that it was Will, but she was not able to pick him out of the crowd. "Will!" Elizabeth shouted back and looked around the filthy drunken citizens of Tortuga who were either drunk or drunk and fighting in order to hopefully locate her beloved.

Will heard Elizabeth, so he started walking fast toward the call. He bit his lower lip and couldn't find her anywhere. He took a deep breath and continued walking forward. Just then, through the clatter of drunken and loud men, he saw her. He smiled a bit and then made it over to her. "There you are." He said softly.

As Edward turned around he nearly tripped over a man laying on the floor. “Are ye okay, sir?” He asked, bending down to help him up. Even in Tortuga Edward still had manners, unlike most of the people that passed through the town. Then Edward gasped, reeling back in shock and horror as he realized who the man was. “Commodore Norrington?”

And as fer Jack, well I am his friend, but when it comes to important matters, he’s nothin’ but a bumbling idiot.” She felt a light tap on her shoulder and turned around to find Sam. Listening to what her friend had to say, Vari took another swig of rum. She stopped and studied Sam carefully. “What kind of people? Redcoats? We can handle them,” Vari smirked, trying to reassure her friend.

Keyara glanced past Beckett to his men, before looking back at him. She tried to crack a smile, but the distress on her face was evident, so instead she nodded. “I’m sorry, Cutler. But just in case…” She silently embraced him in a hug, trying to tell herself that everything would be fine.
