Some of you may recall my banners a while back featuring Prince Wendell and Virginia from The 10th Kingdom. This is my altered version of the story, allowing my wonderful shipping to happen. XD Basic background info if you care (also can click the link): Evil queen turns Wendell into a dog in order to take over his kingdom. Wendell escapes, meets up with Virginia and Tony (her father). Also meeting up with them is Wolf, one of the Queen's helpers (perhaps). I'm not much of a writer, so I'd love all your comments/criticisms, you know the drill.

Shouts rose from the trolls as they pursued the dog down the hallway. "Find it!" Bluebell yelled at the other two. "Or else the Queen might turn
us into dogs!" This seemed to spur them on as they twisted and turned in the caverns of the Snow White Memorial Prison.
Prince Wendell was able to keep away from them quite easily. His new, quality dog-hearing allowed him to avoid their passageways and find his own.
Oh dear, he thought, panting at the top of a flight of steps,
how in the name of the kingdoms do I manage this on all fours? Not quite used to his new paws, he took the first steps cautiously. Then, further on, he gained more control and quickened his pace. Reaching the bottom stair, Wendell stumbled and ran headfirst into a large bookshelf. The huge clattering noise made him wince and, shutting his eyes, he cowered in the corner as the dust that had been undisturbed for centuries settled around him.
I bet that got the trolls attention, he chastised himself.
So where is the way- His thoughts were arrested by a shimmering vision in front of him. A full length mirror, resting on the floor, wasn't reflecting a picture of a bewildered retriever. Instead, large metal buildings soared up into a twilit sky while a neat green forest beckoned in the foreground.
What in the Kingdoms-? Wendell thought, but was interrupted when a new smell reached his keen nose. It smelled...it was man, but not quite man. Looking up, Wendell saw a dark haired human entering at the top of the stairs. The only person who would come down here would be someone looking for him! Without much more thought, Wendell leapt at the mirror and out of his world.
