Nicolas glanced over at Edward and back at the thing before them. A bewildered look was on Carmon’s face, “we aren’t actually going in there?” she asked. Cole nodded at Ed, they had to. It was the only way out of this trap. He quickly scanned the room. It didn’t take him long to spot Lotty weaving her way through the crowd to Vari and Emma. “Lotty!” he called.
Charlotte turned when she heard Cole’s voice, she nodded but turned back to get Em and Vari out of there. She gasped and rushed over to Vari as she saw her friend go down.
Emma, who had been doing her best to fend off the intruders, soon realized it was only a matter of time til they were overcome. She glanced around the tavern, looking for a friend. She spotted Vari fall, but something even more horrific was happening on the other side of the room. It was a huge vortex-thing. She stared at it in amazement for a few moments until she heard Cole’s voice and soon after it Vari’s. She rushed over.

Barbossa laughed as he plunged his sword into a Redcoats and with the other hand he shot one down. He whirled around as yet another cure tried to sneak up on him. Down went another one. He was distracted when he heard the voice of Vari. He cut his way through the soldiers to her. He knelt down and examined her wound.
“Barbossa,” Lotty said. “we have to leave.” she motioned back at the vortex and Tia Dalma.
Hector looked over at it with a odd look on his face. It wasn’t so much shock or amusement, it was just a look. A look any mere man might give any normal thing almost, only with maybe a hint of surprise. “aye,” he agreed. “can ye walk?” he asked Vari.

Beckett thought Keyara’s words over for a few minutes. He glanced back at her and nodded. Although with that thing in there the whole cause could be lost anyway. However, Lord Beckett wasn’t one to be easily forced to retreat. He looked back into the tavern and tried to clear his mind of all the confusion and of Keyara and to think this through. He finally concluded that they would have to continue to drive these pirates out, but it secretly urked him to admite Keyara had been right and he for once in his life had been... wrong?

Gwen had been sitting, chatting with her friend, Teagan, on the bench in the park. She had actually been quite surprised she was able to talk her friend into their small shopping spree, but it had been a success. “Oh, hey!” she waved as Grace and Alanna joined them, “do ya see? I actually got Teagan to go shopping.” she giggled and motioned at all the bags.

Alanna gasped. "No way! How much did you pay her? Did she actually buy anything good?" She realized that she was asking too many questions. "Sorry," she said. "My mouth started running away again," she laughed.

Alex was more and more puzzled by what she saw around her. Before her rose a great forested area. She sighed. It would provide her with cover while she tried to figure out where she was. Keeping close to the shadows provided by the great hulking buildings, she spotted a place just up the street where a whole crush of people were crossing the street that swarmed with strange metallic things that gave off unpleasant smells and loud noises. She attracted more than a few stares as she hastened across the street and into the cover of the trees. She scaled one quickly and sighed with relief once she was out of sight. She jumped as she heard laughter below. She glanced down. Several girls dressed in strange clothes were congregated on a bench below her tree. Alex rolled her eyes. This would make exiting the tree a little more difficult.

The (crab)legged captain opened the door to the tavern and stepped in rather unsubtly. What he found was definitely unexpected. His two crewmen immediately put their hands on their swords.

Sam looked threw Edward a bewildered look. "What?" she shouted over the noise. " In that?" But then another thought occured to her. Quickly she let go of Edward's hands and threw herself back into the fight. Whatever it was.. wherever they were going.. She couldn't leave unarmed. She had to find her daggers.
James gaze fell on the doorway. There he was.. accompanied by a lady who looked quite familiar to him. He was unaware of the vortex which Tia had opened nor Vari being wounded for his eyes were set on Beckett. He roughly made his way through the crowd.
Sam scanned the floor quickly. "I'm comin' I'm comin'" she mumbled then as if all other noises ceased she heard a curse followed by a panicking cry. Vari Sam looked up, wanted to make her way to Vari but in the chaos Norrington suddenly seemed to bump into her although he didn't notice, he was fixed on his target. Sam followed his gaze and spotted Beckett. A crazy idea sprang into her mind: in all the chaos and cries Beckett, distracted by Norrington, wouldn't expect another attack. Sam, who'd totally forgotten about Vari, about Edward, the vortex and the rest of the inn, grabbed her dagger from the chest from a Redcoat and followed Norrington.
((Just a nice idea  Could Keykey perhaps know Norrie? ))

Will ran down the path towards Gwen and Teagan's bench. In her hands she held alot of bags, brightly colored, and she suddenly slowed down so that it almost ran into the group. "I'm here, I'm here" she panted. "I'm sorry I just couldn't ignore that lovely skirt.. it's like an instinct." She smiled at Grace and Alanna. "Hi there!" _________________

Vari watched Lotty come over out of the corner of her eye. Then she looked back up at Barbossa and nodded slowly as he addressed her. “I think so.” She grimaced, pulling herself to her feet as the pain returned. “Let’s go - we need to get out of ’ere.” Moving as fast as she could, Vari headed towards the portal of blue light, making sure no one got in her way.

Edward tried to grab Sam and pull her back, but she had already disappeared into the thick cluster of red and white. Deciding that they had no time to waste he glanced back at Carmon and Cole and the now approaching Emma. “Come on, through that thing right now - don’t worry about Sam either, she can take care of herself.” Even though Edward wanted desperately to go back and get her, deep down he knew that Sam would be all right.

Keyara smiled at Beckett and was about to say something when she noticed a seemingly familiar man pushing his way through the crowd to reach the two. She drew her pistol once more and loaded a shot, watching this man carefully. But as he came closer, Keyara began to recognize his features more and more until she lowered her weapon. “Commodore Norrington?”

Teagan smirked at Gwen. “Well, it’s not exactly my cup of tea, but I did find a really cute top.” She pulled out a black shirt with Jack Sparrow on it and smiled. Noticing that Grace and Alanna had now come along, Teagan stood up. “What does everyone think about getting some ice cream?”

Davy Jones immediately took a step inside, lifted up a rather large (barnacle-covered) gun, and took a shot at the nearest object to make something of a crashing noise. Hoping he wouldn't be ignored, Jones motioned his men after him.
He saw Beckett and raised an eyebrow in quite warranted confusion. Why'd Cutler send me if he was coming anyways? *sigh*.

Alex blinked, certain that she must have misheard the girls. She glanced down at them. Her eyes widened as she saw an image of her brother on the front of the T-shirt. In the midst of her shock, she leaned over too far and now felt herself beginning to slip. Cursing mentally, she grabbed hold of the tree again, but not before a piece of bark fell off of the tree and landed on one of the girl's heads. She grimaced and tried to shift out of view. Excellent job, she chatised herself. You've now successfully alerted them to your presence. But how on Earth do they know Jack?

Lord Beckett glanced around the tavern with a thoughtful look on his face, he was trying to figure out the best way to catch the pirates and prevent them, or anyone else, from going in that thing. Ahhh, he spotted Jones and his men and watched them with a smug look on his face, they could weed the pirates out easily enough. He was about to address Keyara when he noticed she was loading her gun and looking at someone. He pulled out his own safely concealed pistol and looked to where she was looking. The dirty man looked slightly familiar, but he couldn't be too sure until he heard her say the name. He glanced at her and back at the other man, his pistol was still drawn.

"Ice cream? sure!" Gwen grinned then rolled her eyes at Teagan's meager buy. "but you'll never guess what I got!" she pulled out tons of earrings and tops and dresses and purses. "yeah, I spent more money than I should've, but even Teagan doesn't know what I bought in the one store." she paused for effect before pulling out a limited edition Beckett T-shirt and a Norrington T-shirt. "I found these buried in a pile of other clothes!" she nearly bounced with excitement. "Oh," she turned when Will joined them, "Hi, Will! Oh, where'd that come from?" she pointed at the bark that had fallen on Teagan's head.

Emma helped Vari move through the crowd. "we'll have to go in..." she stared at the blue mass of... something.
"Aye," Barbossa answered from a little ways behind. He shot down one of the soldiers who had been about ready to strike at Vari and Emma.
Charlotte helped Barbossa beat off the Redcoats as much as she could in-between desperate glances around the room for Cole and Carmon. Finally she concluded they must have jumped through the thing.

Cole nodded at Edward and gently pushed Carmon right up to the portal. "jump." he said and she was gone within a moment. "Ed, go." Cole glanced back at his friend, knowing he didn't want to leave, "like you said Sam will be alright. And here come Barbossa and Vari and Lotty." he nodded over to them. "we have to leave. Now!" he pulled his friend in with him.

Carmon braced herself for the land, but when it came it was much easier than she had expected. She blinked and looked around. She was in a park-like place. Everything looked odd though. She wished someone else would join her, someone she knew, that is.

Elizabeth had her sword out, and she was in the continous cycle of block and try-to-hit. Once she finally slew another man in the Redcoat, Elizabeth peered back to notice the blue portal and the obvious attention it was getting.
She stared at this for a few moments, but then another enemy caught her eye as she yelled, "Will!" and swung her sword at the one who was attacking her love from behind.

Jones stepped forward and yelled, "What in bloody hell is goin' on!?" firing another shot randomly and placing himself more centrally in the room. He wasn't even sure what he was here for, but he'd soon find out.
