I love the dragon part! I really want to see how they make that in the movie, it ought to be great. and yes, I'm pretty sure VotDT is coming out next year. and this is where I get most of my movie news. It's a really nice site.

Well, can't believe I've never come around here. Anywhatsit, I'll help keep this place alive.
Talking about Dawn Treader, eh? I have to say Eustace as a dragon is pretty awesome. I love that whole book. The Dufflepuds! They are awesome! And Goldwater island, when Aslan comes up to them out of the mist is really cool. But I think my favorite bit is the end with Reepicheep and sailing off in the drinkable ocean, then seeing Aslan's country. It's just soo cool.
Yeah, I rather love these books. I can't have a favorite book or favorite character, because I love them all so much! If anything the Last Battle would be my favorite because you see everyone again, but then it's the end and there aren't any more books so that's sad. See what I mean...?

welcome, Nurr and Aranel! (although it's not like I'm the founder or anything... just thought you guys deserved a warm welcome )
Nurr, I know! Thanks for helping keep the place alive! With PC coming out it might pick up a bit more too... hopefully.
Oh, yes! the Dufflepuds/pods were great! So silly... but, yes, so awesome and mysterious! I loved how they seemed to switch everything around about the magician and how "evil" he was. Oh, and the fallen stars were really interesting too... and Caspian ended up with the ones daughter. So sweet! Oh, yes, Reep is awesome!
that's why we’re here. we all love them! Oh, I've just started reading The Last Battle... actually it's taking me a little while to get into it. Not sure why. Maybe because I know it's the last one... and because all the original charries (the Pevensies, Caspian, Eustace...) haven't come in yet. I don't quite know. But I think once they all do come back, it'll be great!

^oh, the avvy? [I'm assuming you mean this one] I just randomly found it on photobucket. see, my compy doesn't load pics on, say, google or yahoo, but it will on photobucket, so I have to find all my pics there. but I'm getting off topic.
and The Last Battle is like that...it takes a while to get to the English kids. which is so different from the others. usually they start out in England. and it is sad, because there's no more after that. and it's impossible to make a spinoff sorta thing, because everything ends so neatly. but we see Reep again at the end, so it's worth it. YAY for Reep!!

yup, that's the one! really? hmmm, I guess I don't look at photobucket that much... maybe if I did I'd find something cool like that too! hmmm, that's really neat...
that's probably part of it too... although Eustace and Jill come in fairly soon... but still, you're right, most of the books are more focused on the kids and less on Narnia (sorta) and now it's like it's ALL about Narnia... maybe that's what's turning me all around too. well, I guess seeing Reep again will be worth it. although Jewel and Tirian (did I spell that right? ) are sorta cool... but it's still sad to read about Narnia being no longer... I mean, it's a country I've come to love!

And the joys of books is that you can go back again and again and again and again... I understand completely. I'm always sad when I finish Last Battle, but the last line is rather intriguing. Plus, all the Christian parallels are really interesting.
Man, all this talk makes me want to visit Narnia. How cool would that be? I'm rereading Horse and His Boy at the moment. I love how it deals with Calormen and the time during the Golden Age.

Well, it did confuse the Pevensies too. So we aren't alone. But that's what makes it so interesting! It's really helpful for keeping some main characters while switching out others. Although it does make it rather sad in some instances, such as Caspian and Eustace in the Silver Chair. I think that this time reading through them all I have finally decided that I have a favorite character: Edmund. Once he's done being a traitor, he's just awesome. Of course they all are, but I have an inside *squee* whenever he shows up.

Nurr, hmmm, good point! lol I noticed that too... it was a useful tool. Like "I want to have Lucy be close to the same age but I want Mr. Tumnis to be gone. I want to have Eustace older so he sees Caspian as an old man and feels bad and weird." yes, very convenient. I know, it does make it sad. I mean, if I had made a Narnian friend and then I had to leave, one year passed and I went back and he was looonnnngggg dead I would feel so bad. about as like Eustace does feel, I guess. Oh yes!! Edmund is an awesome charrie! although Susan and Caspian (and a few others I think I've mentioned before ) will always hold a dear spot in my heart.... I truly can't wait to see Caspian on the big screen! He's gonna be sweet!
I know!!! Squee! I can't wait for PC either!
