^The first time I saw it was a few years ago at 2 AM with a 101 degree fever. What a surreal experience.

Been watching a few of the "Beck" and "Wallander" movies (two Swedish CSI-type movie series). They're all so awesome!

Ahhh one of my all-time favorite childhood movies! It's too awesome for words! "Hey you guuyyssss!"

I've seen it! I've seen all of M. Night Shyamalan's films. Yes, it is a bit weird (and it's not his best film) but the story is so unique and original, I don't think it really matters.
Ratatouille - SQUEE! I love this film so much that I went and bought it the day it came out on DVD and watched it that night. If Mike and Sulley weren't in Monster's Inc, this would be my favourite Pixar film of all time. It is stunningly beautiful and so well made, it's technically perfect. I love the story and the characters and the "cheesy" moments weren't that cheesy at all, which is great (Pixar films usually have one or two moments that are icky, and they don't normally handle them to well). *bouncey wouncey*
3:10 to Yuma - Normally I'm kinda crtitical about films that could be seen as "remakes", especially when I have seen the original, but this was just its own film and I liked it for being different and yet still having traces of the original. All the cast were great, although whether or not it's because he was acting the best, I tended to be watching Russell Crowe more (even though I don't really like him). It's probably because he's the baddie, and I like bad guys. The last 15 minutes were really good and the music was excellent.
National Treasure 2: Books of Secrets - So it finally came out in the UK! Huzzah! Ben lost me halfway through the film (and there's no rewind button in the cinema) I'm not really sure why they ended up in a certain place or what for. But did it matter? No. Because NT is just a good, fun film and you don't have to be watching it complete with an Oscar winning script. You don't even have to know what's going on. Look at the Big Sleep. No-one ever knew who the murderer was or why, not even the writer! And that's a classic film. I was entertained, so that;s Ok with me. Poor Riley though. I really wanted to give him a hug in this film. No-one appreciates him or respects him. *huggles* And I really, really want to go to Mount Rushmore now. I never knew it was sooo pretty round there. I thought it was the big ol' rock with four dudes carved out of it, in the middle of nowhere. But there's lakes and forests and everything. We don't have that over here.

Some rather lame educational film in my Driver Ed class. It was definitely from the 80's... *Cringes at the memory of the host's hair*

Oh, I thought it was great...I just didn't expect it to end that way.
Well, that girl at the end there seemed interested in Riley. Although I agree, his fans reside mostly in the audience...
Daredevil: Director's Cut - WOW. What an awesome movie! I've heard the theatrical version is complete trash, so I won't even bother seeing it now. But I think I still like mutants best.

"Jumper"
OMG. Jamie Bell just stole the show as Griffin. He was best actor with the best lines, he kicked the most butt and he was undoubtedly the most attractive thing on screen.

Open Range - This is most probably my favourite western of all time. I've seen a lot of westerns, proabably about 70 or so, and you do tend to get the same kind of films and storylines (not that I mind, because I've only seen a handful of really, really bad westerns). Open Range is a beautiful film. There's no other word for it. It portrays the American West like no other film I've seen. For once, being a cattle herder is something of a peaceful life, you're not always getting shot at or getting drunk and it's an honest living. The lands are green with grass (which is a novelty for me to see this, as black and white films are my forte) and there is actually a cafe in the town! Only one other western have a seen a cafe! And the saloon.. it was actually quiet, just full of normal, decent people talking, not shooting each other up. And the characters... they actually had character. Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner were really great, I loved the friendship between them, and the humour and the fact they were so different but had to much respect for each other. Most westerns don't usually have main characters with so much character, they're usually pretty vague about what "motivates" them or why they do what they do. It was nice for once to be able to actually see all this and not make assumptions. And I loved the fact the townsfolk knew that the Irish landowner Denton (played eviliy by Michael Gambon) was wrong to do what he did, and that eventually they took a side, and so helping Boss and Charlie they helped themselves. The shootout at the end is particularly well shot and not too violent, but it still shows the harsh reality of fighting with guns. And the ending... gah... how nice to have a happy ending to films that involve people we like being shot at.
In case you didn't know already, I highly recommend this film.
@ Anie - You're right! I want that girl in the next film (if they do a next film ). Red-heads with freckles in movies are OK with me.

"The Little Red Truck"
WORLD PREMIERE at the Big Sky Film Festival! Mwa ha ha ha ha ha!
Amazing documentary about the Missoula Children's Theatre touring troupes. AHHHH! I love that I'm from Missoula!
It was SUCH an amazing documentary! SO funny and cute and brought back SOOO many memories of them coming to my school every year! One of the school's performances that they documented was an Innuit (sp?) school WAAAY up in the middle of nowhere Canada, and the little girl who played the lead, Marianne (from Robin Hood) was LEGALLY blind and knew EVERYONE'S lines! OH man!
And JK SIMMONS made an appearance in the documentary! (Because he graduated from the UM Fine Arts school ) OH man! Amazing film!
Great documentary! I suggest anyone who gets a chance to watch documentaries, look for this one in a few months.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - wow, it was amazing! I loved it!! The acting was good, the story was great and it kept pretty historically true.... it was really impressive. (and I adore the gowns... they're so, wow, beautiful! I would die if I had to wear them, but to look at them... ) and, of course, every time Tom Hollander or Geoffrey Rush came on screen I had to giggle... they look so out of their element! It's great!
Secrets of the Cave - we're actually watching it now... it's a pretty good movie though.
