Sylan nodded not sure if he was prepaired or not. "I should tell David it's ok to bring her then." He stood up and stepped out of the room.

Tamie shook her head. "I had no idea who the picture was until just now ... honestly. Mom never knew either, but she kept giving me the pictures so I could change them out." She looked around the room then back at David. "I always felt like something was missing, but as long as I had my locket I was ok."

Sylan pulled out his cell phone and diled David's number.

David was still in shock...he jumped when his cell phone rang. " hello?" he answered.

Lanie sat in her room for a moment. she looked around her empty room and shuddered. she didnt want Tamie to replace Corison. but she knew she wasnt trying to do that. Lanie sighed and quieted her thoughts and walked out of her room and into Corison's old room. she turned on the light and shut the door. a tear slipped down her face as the smell of her sister was still in the room. she thought back to her sister. she searched her mind for memories

Lanie looked at her like she was crazy. " will you do that for me?" Corison said. Lanie nodded. and that was the last time they ever spoke about her dying. </i> Lanie opened her eyes and looked over at the vanity. she walked over and opened the drawer. there was a letter...she picked it up and opened it.

Dear Lanie,
I don't know when you will find this letter, but I want you to know that I love you very much. I know that it may be hard for you, but there is something you must know, if you havn't already found out. I was adopted before you were born. Somewhere out there I have a twin sister. Please ... find her for me, because if you are reading this it means I have failed in my search. Her picture is in the locket.

David was still in shock. " thats great, but Sylan..i think you need to see something..i'm gonna come over right now.." he said before telling him goodbye and hanging up.
After he was off the phone he looked over at Tamie. " hey...Lanie said it was fine..so you'll be staying there. i'll help you get your stuff." he said clutching the locket in his hands.

Lanie gasped as she read the letter..." what?..." she said.. " SYLAN!!!!!" she yelled.

Sylan he just gone to get sonething to drink when he heard Lanie scream his name. He sat the pitcher down on the counter and bolted up the stairs. "What?!?!" He said stepping into Corison's old room. "What .. What happened, are you ok, talk to me?"

Tamie nodded and lead the way up to her room. It was set up much like Corison's right down to the decorations.

Tamie walked over to her closet and started to gether cher cloths. "My costumes are in mom's room, you can get those if you like, but watch out for the glass." She layed her cloths on the bed and got her suitcase.

Sylan scanned the letter his brow furrowing with thought. He looked up at Lanie. "You don't think Tamie ...? Do you?" He asked not finishing his first sentence knowing she would know what he ment.

Lanie hung her mouth open. " i dont know....i'm still in shock...you didnt know about this???" she asked.

David nodded and found his way to her mothers room. he hated being in a room where he knew someone dead used to be. he fliped on the light quickly and walked to the closet. he grabed all the costume's he saw and dashed out of there quickly being careful of the glass.

Tamie had most of her things packed by the time David came back, and she turned to take the costumes from him. She lay them in the large suitcase and closed the lid. "I'm ready." she said softly.

"I knew, but I had no idea she had a twin sister, or that she was looking for her, but it would explain why she would ask for double prints when she got her picture taken every year, and the strange letters she got once a year." He scanned the letter again and looked at Lanie.

David nodded and took the suitcase and went downstairs.

" you knew????" Lanie said almost mad. " why didnt you tell me?? at least me?? am i adopted...ugh.." she said getting angry. " what else have you kept from me." she walked away slaming the door behind her.

Sylan ran a hand through his hair and sat down on the bed. " I though you knew... " He said softly knowing that she wouldn't hear him.

He wasn't sure how long he sat there, but the sound of a car pulling into the driveway snapped him back to reality and he looked out the window to see David's car.

David got out of the car then went over to help Tamie out of the car. he grabbed all her stuff and went and knocked on the front door.

Lanie sat in her room crying hard. she had changed her mind about Tamie. they hadnt really known each other all that well. so this would be new. but the thing Lanie couldnt get over was why no one told her that her sister was adopted and that Corison had another real sister, a twin at that. she was angry and sad at the same time. this was all too much for her.

Sylan opened the door before David could knock. "Here ... um ... let me help you with that." He took the myrad of frilly costumes David had in one head. He took the things up to Corison's old room.

Tamie stepped into the house and looked around. She noticed David disapearing up the stairs and decided to wait where she was.

David went to Lanie's room and knocked.
Lanie glanced at the door. " GO AWAY SYLAN..." she yelled.
David sighed. " oh no.." he said under his breath. " it's David lanie." he said a little louder.
Lanie sighed. " come in..."
David walked in and walked over and sat on the bed. Lanie sat there cross legged and looked up at him. "she here?" she asked softly.
David nodded. " you sure you're okay with this?" he looked at her concerned.
Lanie thought for a moment. " i guess." she said.
David pulled her into a big hug. " it will be alright. she's not replacing Corison." he said before letting go.
