And it's all well for you that have Jake as your fave character, but Edward is my fave, and I don't know what to do about it. Jake still needs to be cast right.

^ Ditto. I find Jacob pretty annoying at times, actually. I do hope they find the right guy, though.

Gil - I don't think so. She would probably have said as much on her website by now, if that were true. And Summit Entertainment's website lists only Mark Lord and Melissa Rosenberg as the writers.

EDIT: Apparently there was an open casting call in Oregon yesterday for Jacob - so make that found the right guy.

Oo, more Twilight peoples.

I feel the same about the casting of Edward, I mean, he should at least be close to the character in looks but I just can't see a trace of Edward in Robert. Not happy about that, at all. And I'm also filled with dread about the movie; the HP films half-ruined the Harry Potter books for me, everyone says Eragon was terrible, I haven't seen The Golden Compass because I don't want another HP fiasco...I'm afraid Twilight will go the same way.

However I am very much looking forward to the book. Woot!

Twlight into a movie... I don't know. The book is great, but I think they should leave it as (notice best selling books are sometimes made into movies?) I don't know why, I guess I like the characters in my head.

Well, Jessica is alright but I'm not so sure about Eric. He doesn't look so geeky... yet.

Haha, I actually think that both of them are pretty close to perfect. I have see Justin Chon look pretty geeky, but I maybe I missed the part where he was asian. Did it ever actually say that? My only problem is that I know a girl named Jessica who fits the description of the character absolutely to a "t," so I know they couldn't find anyone more perfect than her, but I think they did pretty well.

I never imagined Eric as asian, and I don't think it was ever mentioned in the book, either. But Jessica is actually quite alright, I've decided.

Rosalie's perfect. As for everyone else, on the other hand...

Alice looks too old, and has too much hair...
Emmett isn't hot enough, and doesn't have enough hair...
I can't get a good look at Jasper, but I'm sure there's something wrong there, besides the stupid hair cut that you could see from the opposite side of a football field...
Meh, Esme's alright, I guess...
Carlisle looks vaguely too old, isn't he supposed to be 23, or something?
And then there's Edward. 'Nuff said.

(Just for the record, Emmett's my favorite Cullen, so no matter who they picked, he'd never be good enough. He does need more hair, though. I'd always pictured him with hair similar to movieAlice's, although more guy-ish, obviously.)

Jasper I'd imagined more like this, but blond, and with slightly longer and very straight hair. (No, I don't have something against short hair (my own hair is very short, actually) the Cullens just all have long-ish hair, that's all )
