I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE.
Hugh Jackman takes on the role of Wolverine again and Dominic Monaghan(I'm sure everyone here knows who he is...LOST, and of course, LOTR) takes on the role of Barnell Bohusk, AKA Beak/Blackwing.

Gambit, my favorite X-Man and the one I have been wanting to see the most on the big screen, is also going to be in the movie!

Deadpool is in this. They don't need any other cameos

Dominic's character appears to be a mish mash as far as I can tell. Beak/Blackwing is a pretty minor character. I'm surprised they got someone like Dom to play him tbh.
Gambit is the mutant with the ability to use kinetic energy to explode things. But yeah, he's most recognised for his seemingly neverending deck of cards. I like the look of the guy playing him, though I do kinda oppose Gambit in a Wolverine prequel movie. It just seems they're putting him in there to please his fanboys/girls. Hopefully I'm wrong and there's a good reason for him being involved.

Yah, Josh Holloway was courted to play him in X3. But there are all sorts of stories as to why. Shame though, because he is the perfect Gambit. He would have made me like the character more XD
Some characters like Deadpool, Agent Zero and even Blob sort of make sense. But Gambit, a present day character involved in Wolverines past just doesn't ring true for me. I really hope he is set in the future..perhaps at the end of the movie is when his cameo is.

Sort of excited. Mainly for the eye candy that is Dominic... but the characters sound great. Hugh Jackman isn't my favorite actor, but i'm excited to see what his character was like, back when he was ansty and stuff...

I'm not sure if pre-X-Men Wolverine could be described as angsty

Ooh, even as a minor role, it will be <i>really</i> awesome to see Dom play Beak. I was already pretty excited for this movie, and now I honestly can't wait.
I heard something about Lynn Collins playing Silver Fox... that will be really awesome, I hope she gets the role. She's always been one of my favorites, and I can really picture Collins playing her.

Josh Holloway would've been a awesome Gambit, and it would've been cool to see him and Dom in the same movie, because of them both being in LOST. Gambit is one of my favorite superheroes, so I hope the guy they picked does the part justice.

FM: Lynn Collins is indeed playing Silver Fox. Rumour mill originally was that Michelle Monaghan had been given the part. Then again, so was Natalie Imbruglia
I have a great manip of Josh as Gambit somehere, that someone on the SuperheroHype forums made. It's most excellent. I'm not a huge fan of Gambit, but Josh could have made a fan of me. Like Robert Downey Jr is doing for Tony Stark/Iron Man.
My main fangirlism for this movie is that Ryan Reynolds is playing my fave non-X-Men Marvel character, Deadpool.

I can't wait!! See, I've just recently gotten interested in the X-Men movies/comics so this is all very exciting for me. Even though Wolvie's actually not my favorite, still...he has a great background. And then you add in Cajun, and Dom...
Isn't Silver Fox supposed to be Native American though? Why is the actress they're casting blonde?

Silver Fox is Native, but the thing about comic adaptations is they will and have changed many things about integral characters.
Wolverine himself is only 5ft3 in the comics. Hugh Jackman is about a foot taller.
The whole Phoenix storyline was changed almost beyond recognition from the phenomenal comic book story.
Rogue wasn't a helpless little girl.
Storm was heralded as a Goddess in her native Africa
Kingpin in Daredevil was caucasian....and so on and so on lol
Kayla not being Native is a shame, but so long as Lynne can grasp the character and bring her to life. I'm happy.
Have I mentioned how excited I am at Deadpool being in the movie?

Wow, Hugh Jackman is incredibly sexy... I really like the first photo of the camera looking up his arm. Those claws are sooo realistic... I really wonder how they did that. I own all 3 X-Men DVDs and nowhere does it say how they did the claws...
