No Country For Old Men - had to see what the fuzz was about!
Ohh dear, Javier Bardem is divine, why haven't we seen him before.. ohh, because he is Spanish! I watched the Spanish dubbed version, so I missed hearing his voice, which I'm truly sorry for. That Oscar was well-deserved, I just don't understand why he didn't win for Best Actor... to me his part seemed like a leading role as much as Tommy Lee Jones...

holiday. an american film that is anti-money and questions love at first sight - truly remarkable. and of course cary grant and katherine hepburn are as wonderful as ever. i really do love kate in this film - there's a great depth to her performance, and something i can really connect to. what i wouldn't give to be that woman.
the hustler. oh, i do love paul newman. he reminded me quite a lot of marlon brando in this film, which can never be a bad thing.

I'm a little stunned... it was amazing. Liam Neeson was amazing. The story line was shocking, and wow...
Hey, that's more than one word. D;
Recently saw Scream I & II.
The Corpse Bride (cute!)
Ladder 49
The Fountain
Ladder 49 had a disappointing ending, I thought. Despite the Joaquin Phoenix----he was excellent but the ending lacked something.
The Fountain was so good, definitely one of my favorite films. Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman are superb acting opposite each other.

Valiant
Being a veteran of many war movies and mini series, this was a dissapointment. I know that it's a cartoon for small children, but I was dissapointed. I'm used to accuracy, well delivered lines and the like. Sadly, this movie had none of it. Although whatshisface has a sexy accent. But I really don't see a point of sending a valuable plane(which the British had very few of) into occupied enemy territory, and only to release pigeons. *sigh* Yes, i'm too critical.

Juno
Finally saw this... I LOVED it! I thought it was hilarious, and it had a good story.
The Guardian
Meh... it was ok. I only watched it because my friend who is planning on joining the coast guard lent it to me.

I too was very surprised that it was snubbed at the Oscars.
I mean, it at least could've been recognized in cinematography or something ... it was definately Oscar-worthy.
But, as I said it was VERY good. I have a bad feeling that every film I see Casey Affleck in, it's gonna be depressing. XD

A Beautiful Mind:
Lovely, an absoloutely stunning master piece. Definately Oscar-worthy. Russel Crowe was amazing in this, I cried, not as bad as during Schindler's List, but getting there.

Sky High - I feel so dumb. I never knew this was a parody of X-Men. Granted, I don't think anyone's ever said so, but that's how I see it. It still makes me laugh, though. Especially the Pyro-wannabe, Warren. hope that won't offend anyone, I mean it in a nice way
Bridge to Terabithia - It's been waaaaaay too long since I've seen this movie. Such a beautiful story...

Let's see, "Behind Enemy Lines" with Owen Wilson. For some reason I really enjoy this movie. It's fascinating, and in my opinion, Owen does a fantastic job in a more drama-oriented role. Good film.
Parts of "My Fair Lady"!! *SQUEEE* I LOVE TCM!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! I was totally singing along the entire time. *nod nod*
OHHH. AND,
"Stargate"
MWA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Dude, I worship the Sci Fi channel. Helps very much in my efforts of procrastination.
HUZZAH for ORIGINAL long-haired Daniel Jackson who is an absolute DOLL! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE*
