Bella looked at her mother. "I'm fine," she lied. Bella had never been one to admit when something was bothering her or had her sad. "Just thinking about all this." She sighed and allowed herself to look at Elizabeth hopefully. "We will find him, Mother?" she asked quietly, "Won't we?"

Lizzy looked down at her daughter, feeling nothing but love.
"Of course darling, Captain Jack Sparrow can never be parted from his precious 'Pearl'. We'll find him, or he'll find us. I know he's alive, I can tell, there's a feeling that never leaves my heart." She turned to look out to sea. "Like, somehow, where ever she is, I know your sister is alive aswell."
Smilling she starts to sing: "Where devils, we're black sheep, we're really bad eggs; drink up me harties, yo ho."

Alex woke up after she rolled out of her hammock and landed on the floor. After unsuccessfully trying to fall back asleep she lazily pulled on her boots and jacket and went up on deck. The loss of Captain Jack Sparrow had really effected the entire crew. Seeing that much of the crew where also having a sleepless night Alex side and climbed a rope to a mass’s beam and laid on her back gazing at the sky above. May be this is still the same sky Jack can see, she wished more then thought.

"Yes, that sounds like Uncle all right." She held up the bottle that was still in her hand, "this was his favorite kind of rum, he never failed to have some with him." A sudden thought struck Mary Ann and she gripped the rail to keep from falling, Uncle has no rum, which means that his true personality will start to surface, which means that his reputation as a fierce pirate lord will be destroyed if he is found by anyone else!

Mary Ann smiled grimly. "Uncle Jack only disliked the kind of rum that wasn't there. But you are right, we must give up the search, we have wasted valuble time, Jack will find us if he is still alive. In the meanwhile, there is only one captain, if you are willing, I can take my uncle's place until he returns, unless Will wishes to, or you believe that a surrogate is unneccisary..."

Alex peered down at the deck below as Barbossa walked across it. No matter how much she denied it they where right, If Jack was still alive they would find him if he didn’t find them first. If, why all the if’s? Alex rolled back onto her back and tried not to think about it.

As much as Bella hated giving up the search for Jack, she knew that they were right. He would find his way. Who knew? He was probably doing just fine at the moment, knowing him. Maybe even lying on some other beach drinking rum just like he had with her mother years before Bella was born. She took a deep breath and stiffened her back. "Aye, Captain," she said strongly. Then after her mother's question, Bella too wrinkled her brow in question. "Yes, what's more important?" Despite her sadness over Jack, a thrill of excitement ran through her. An adventure perhaps?
