*shakes head sadly* what's this? We, no I, have let this thread slide away... shameful, simply shameful.

wow, I don't even quite remember what we were discussing! anyway, being an optimist isn't all bad... ;) I tend to be like that too. :) ummm and what else were we talking about? Oh, yes! You have the Zizzle action figures? Check under their boots and it should say. I'm pretty sure you do! You don't know how "squee"ish that makes me! I adore Zizzle! My brother and I own... ummm, a LOT of their PotC action figures for AWE and DMC. they make some awesome stuff! And they're great quality! *huggles her Beckett action figure (the extremely rare one * Oh, I like Ragetti! And I have his Zizzle action figure too... wow, they did? That's sweet!

We've talked about this in one of our PMs! the PotC Life games! :teehee: those are the best!!!

so that was a pretty short reply to something rather long... sorry. but what's there to talk about Pirates and AWE now? hmmm, there have been a few things I've observed, but I forgot them all! :headwall: Oh, you know what? I think I'm getting more involved in PotC than ever! I just get so happy and bouncy when I watch the movies now... yes, even more than I used to get. ;) it's like "oh, I've never noticed that little guy was there before!", "oh, shut up! It's Norrington's 'my story..' line!"... yeah, it's crazy! lol

But you've "sailed to the ends of the eart' and beyond to fetch back [this thread]!" So it's okay. :D

Um, yeah, I think they're Zizzle...I remember seeing that name on the packaging. They really are great! Except for the Admiral Norrie one...I almost bought one of those, but it didn't look very good. :erm: Oh my gosh! They made an action figure of Rags and I didn't know?! :swoon:  :P Oh well. Maybe I'll find one somewhere for like $2, that'd be cool. :teehee:

Wow, that's awesome! X-Men is kind of distracting me at the moment, but I had a random desire to watch AWE the other day...sadly I couldn't give in because I had homework and stuff to do, but I plan to ASAP! As for other discussion...hmm...I'm not feeling terribly inspired at the moment, sorry.

Oh, my goodness! *runs in sobbing* I wish I had all the money I could want! Look at what I just found that’s actually new for Pirates! :swoon:

http://www.tonnerdoll.com/pirates.htm

aren't those just gorgeous? I especially LOVE ALL the Elizabeth ones! why does everything I like have to be outrageously expensive? *pouts*

Anie, haha, that I did, mate. :-D

that's awesome then! Zizzle is so great! :-D and I mean it... they're one of the few companies I would actually say that about too. :P oh, come on! I own both Norries and neither of them are that bad looking... :erm: and, I mean, they're Norrington! :P yup, they did. here's a link to all the DMC and AWE figures they ever made:

all the AWE ones:
http://www.thegd.com/POTC/toys.asp?L=Zizzle%20AWE
(the last two series are NEAR impossible to get though although I do own Last Stand Will and Beckett ;) and my brother got Singapore Warrior Lizzie)

and all the DMC ones:
http://www.thegd.com/POTC/toys.asp?L=Zizzle%20DMC

(the first series is REALLY hard to get now... actually by now they're all hard to get. :erm: but that's the Rags I have :))

maybe you will be able to! :) I sure hope so at least!

awww, sorry to hear that! Well, I'm sure soon enough you'll be able to watch it again. "I have faith in you." ;) just make sure you don't put it off so long that you start to forget lines and such!

I know… I’m sure a conversation will just start… like it kinda already has. :P

LoT, hehe, I’ve been going through a bit of that lately too. Just wanting to watch or do something for Pirates a lot! :-D I've been keeping pretty pirate-y lately… :erm: probably too pirate-y. Oh, I got the AWE Valentine’s too! Lol I think I need to see CotBP again as well… I watched AWE Tuesday, DMC last Wednesday, yeah, it’s just about time for the other one. :P

Haha, my friend Meghan got Pirates Valentines last year, and so did my friend Cera. So I have two, both with Will on them. :D I would've bought some if I found any, but I didn't... Do any of them say "Keep a weather eye on the horizon", perchance? ;)

OOH! Awesome! :D Well, I know, I really wanted to buy the Norrie one...but he really didn't look that much like Norrie to me. :erm: Anyway, I didn't want trouble between him and my Will since I only have one Elizabeth. :P Of course there was the one of her with that disgusting robe thing from Singapore on but I didn't like that one much. ;) Aww, my gosh, Rags is adorable!! I'll have to keep an eye out for him, you never know...

Oh, never! I can still do most of any of the movies, verbatim, and usually with accents. Never fear, the Quote Master isn't dead! :teehee:

I actually got to buy the PotC Valentines this year... I didn't last year... :eyeroll: so I was so excited!! :bounce: even though all my friends (I have no real Pirates fans for friends...) just took them and smiled good humouredly. :P Anie, nope none of the Valentines said "keep a weather eye on the horizon"... they all actually say kind of cheesy things.

hehe, glad you like them too! They do make very nice eye-candy... :)

ahhh, I see... well, I guess I sorta see what you mean. To me he's just fine, but I can understand. ;) hmmm, the trouble between all of them? Yeah, I can see that... :P you didn't? Really? That's the only one I own! lol Although I like the pirate disguised one better... eh, the Singapore one isn't all bad... ;) Glad you like Rags! :-D well, I would suggest going to K-Mart to find him if you want him. do you have any around where you live, Pip?

huzzah for teh Quote Master! :notworthy:

you know, I used to feel so smart when I found out about Lieutenant Groves... but now I find out TONS of people know about him! so much for be being clever... :P

 They're savvy then, aye? :teehee: Ah well...cheese is to be expected with Valentines, I've noticed. ;)

Too bad I'm terribly low on funds to buy them with. :(

I know, but I wasn't sure about it...and like I said, I didn't want a fight either. :P Yeah, but I like mine better. She's got swords. :D K-Mart? Wow, I haven't been in there for years...the closest ones to me closed down a long time ago. :( Thanks for the idea though, I'm sure there's one around here somewhere if I look hard enough.

Aww, well, "[I'm] not all that."

Groves? Oh, heck, I didn't know he had a name until the fourth or fifth time I watched it! So don't feel too bad, you're not the only "clever" one here. :P

hmmm, yeah, you might say that. :P Although one (and only one ;)) of my friends did say she would keep hers... because it's of Will and he's the only one she likes. :) I know... it pretty much seems to be the code for all Valentines (don't ask me why though). :eyeroll:

hmmm, sorry 'bout that... I know what it feels like. Enchanted is coming out soon and I have NO money to get it. :'( and actually I wouldn't mind owning Becoming Jane either... it was a bittersweet movie. I liked it. :bones:

I know what you mean... ;) fights between Will and Norrie wouldn't be fun. :P good point, she does! Although I got the other Lizzie because she came with some guns and a cool coat and all sorts of neat things. :teehee: hmmm, I'm not surprised (and that's also why the old PotC figures are easier to find at them... because no one ever goes there! :P). K-Marts seem to be disappearing everywhere. We actually only have 2 or 3 that I can think of here and most of them are quite a ways away. it's no problem... I thought it might be worth a shot and you might have one around you.

sure you are!

That's probably still better than how quickly I figured out who he was! but at least it's nice to know you're only a little more "clever" than me. ;) (just kidding!) man, it seems like T&T named every single one of their characters in PotC! which is awesome but sometimes hard to know/remember them all! :P

Aw, dear, dear AWE thread.

Do you remember way back when when we decided Tia Dalma was the mysterious fouth person who tried to kill Jack? Or did we decide it was Gibbs? :erm: Well, anyway, I know I had my mind made up that it was Tia, but after watching it again last week it hit me that it was probably Gibbs! He was part of the royal navy for a time, after all!

hey, it's Taur!!! this feels almost like old times again, doesn't it? :P

boy, I don't know if I remember that or not... hmmmm, but then again my brain has pretty much gone out for the night. :P Really? You think it was Mr. Gibbs? I'm still pretty sure it was Tia Dalma Jack was talking about. I mean when Jack says "four of you tried to kill me in the past and one of you succeeded." Tia, Will, Liz and Barby were in the foreground and when he walks along the lines (doing the whole "don't need you, you scare me." thing ;)) she persuades him that he "enjoyed it at the time" and he finally says "ok, you're in." he never says anything to Mr. Gibbs about not wanting him to come. :erm:

Very nearly! :D

That's true, but he's says that and then he says "As for you!" which to me sounds like he wasn't talking about her.

hehe, I wuve "reunions"! :P

hmmm, I don't think I've ever noticed that line... :erm: I shall have to watch AWE again and listen closely. :P But, never fear, we WILL get this figured out! :teehee:

btw, I've been reading the Bring Me That Horizon: The Making of PotC and it is an AWESOME book! Wow, it pretty much tells you anything and everything about the movie, real pirates, real history, the history of the movie, the director, the producer, the characters, the locations, everything!!! :bounce: if you've got the money for it then I'd say "go for it!" because it's truly sweetness! :-D not to mention it's VERY pro-Pirates! :teehee: which of course is to be expected but still very cool... it's probably the best behind-the-scenes book I've ever read for any movie. And I've learned some things while I'm at it. actually I really wish I could copy and type down a lot of the parts in it for you guys to read... they're quite interesting. :)

Hey, wow, I'm sorry I missed the "reunion"! Life just got uber-busy and I kind of veged out and did nothing but watch movies. It was weird. Oh well, I'm totally back now! Great to, uh, know you've come back to our dear AWE thread, Taur!

Well, still, at least that's something. ;) I think it's because the holiday has evolved over the years into more of a "big production" holiday and less about real, true love. Kind of like Christmas, it's been cheesified and overcommercialized. :eyeroll:

Thanks! I actually recently came into posession of a bit of money, enough to buy all 3 X-Men DVDs at pretty good prices. Aww, that stinks! I'm sorry! :( Yes, I agree, Becoming Jane was very bittersweet but lovely.

Not really. There's been quite enough of that, in my opinion. :P Ooh, guns? Awesome! Mine came with two swords but she had to give one up for Will after I accidentally lost his sword. I've just recently been informed that there is in fact (or was until recently) a K-Mart about 15 minutes away from my house, sooo.... :bones: :teehee:

 Well, thanks. It's nice of you to say so.

Maybe they have a naming obsession, like I do? When I was little every single stuffed animal had a name, my various bikes over the years all have had names, and my computer and iPod both have names too. I think they're just detail freaks, which is cool if you make such in-depth, colorful movies like Pirates.

Ooh, I LOVE that book! :D I found it at Barnes & Noble one night when I was there getting a book for my English class and was like "MINE!!" I haven't had much time lately to read it, but I agree with you, it's totally worth the money! It's got a lot of great information and quotes and on top of all that it's just absolutely gorgeous.

that's totally alright, Pip dear! you're here now so the "reunion" can continue! Huzzah for us, teh Absolutly-hyper-madly-frantic-AU-AWE Posters!

wow, I feel bad for you getting that busy and all! and just vegen' out on us! lol ;) but at least you're back now! W00t (I believe it's an occasion to use that rather odd word :P)

why does it seem like our posts are getting long again?

I suppose so. :-D you're totally right... it seems like almost all of the holidays are getting to be like that. Overcommercialized! :eyeroll: nothing is just because anymore. I mean, I have you ever heard of Easter presents? my cousins used to get them like Christmas presents! :swoon: but it does seem like sadly most holidays aren't just what their original meanings were. And if they are (like Thanksgiving sort of still is) they're overlooked! :eyeroll:

you're welcome! :-D lucky you! I'm gonna need to clean my dad's pole barn several times before I get enough for all the cds and dvds I want. oooo, another Becoming Jane lover? *high fives* awesomness! Most people think it's cheesy or Anne Hathaway is a bad actress. *sigh*

poor Will! :P Anie lost his sword! you know, actually I don't know how many weapons I have... lots of swords, pistols, knives, axes, and all other manner of dangerous, plastic things. :P ooo, you'll have to check it out and see what you find! :bounce:

you're very welcome again! :-D

 maybe they do! well, I've always named my stuffed animals too... actually I had a little Dalmatian who's name changed like 5 times. lol although I don't quite know where he is now I believe his last name change was to Frodo. :P although my iPod doesn't have a name. just sometimes "you retarded machine!" well, then it is cool for me! I wuve in-depth, colorful movies. :teehee:

you got it too!?!!? Awesome!! :bounce: although I suppose I should've guessed you would've. ;) I first saw it there too... but I didn't have the money so I got it for Christmas. :-D you really should try to read it. I'm up to the section on Will Turner and so far it's been great! And it actually told what each of the four writers did to help the story along. And it even tells a little about the original plot for CotBP. Oh, that's one thing my mom commented on. She said it was a really nice book. and it is. The pictures and everything are so clear and beautiful. I wuve it! Tis probably one of my favoritests things in my collection... :erm:

Oh, I completely forgot to say this: "A [reunion]? I love [reunions]! Drinks all around!" :drunk: :D

"That's got to the be [oddest word] I've ever heard of." But it serves its purpose, I suppose. :P

I get an Easter basket, or at least I did when I was younger...but now my new Easter tradition is to watch the first Narnia movie. It seems appropriate, eh? But I didn't get too much, just a bunch of candy usually. It's so depressing that that's what our world is coming too... :( :eyeroll:

Ooh, good luck with that. I don't envy you. ;) *high fives back* I think of it as a version of Pride & Prejudice gone wrong, if that doesn't sound too weird to say. :teehee: Anne was great! I loved her accent, though it was a little weird since I know her from The Princess Diaries and such. :P

Ah ah ah! I didn't lose it, a friend of mine did! :P Or at least it got lost while I was trying to bring it home again. I felt rather bad though, but at least now that they each have only one sword I can arrange them so that they look like they're holding hands. Oh no! PD with plastic weapons?! RUN!!! :teehee:

Frodo, eh? Good choice, you should stick with that one. ;) Haha, that's great! (Mine's named Aerlinn, I think, because it means "sea song" or something to that effect and I liked it better than the word for just "song".) Indeed! Those are the most fun to watch! :D

Nice! I had to shell out the money myself, because I didn't know about it back at Christmastime. ;) I really should... *looks longingly at book* Perhaps tomorrow, I don't think I have too much going on. Or maybe even before I go to bed tonight...
