Janet was in the middle of struggling with the vacuum when she looked out the window. What have we here? A playful smile played across her lips as she walked up to the window and threw it open. "Do you make a habit of staring at people" she called out to Corban, "or is there just something in the air today?"

Ok, so maybe she was flirting a little. Besides, a bit of shameless flirting never hurt anyone.... too much. And he seemed like a nice guy. Her parents weren't home so it wasn't like she was going to invite. No, this would have to do for now.

Corban jerked slightly at her question, and opened and closed his mouth a few times, trying to find some words to speak.

"Well, Uh... No, not normally, but... I... You - the..." He paused, and came closer to the window. "Do you normally let jars float around in mid-air, or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me?"

Ok, that was not what Janet had expected. How was she to answer that? The truth? Even the truth could be difficult to explain. It could be a good start though. And if that didn't work she could always pretend she was joking, hopefully.

"Um, well I..." she stammered, "Yes I do." Ok, where to go from there. "It is a gift. I've had it for as long as I can remember." Janet picked a rock up and held it in front of Corban's face to further her point.

Had she been in a mood to listen to the sane side of her, she would have heard her mind screaming at her. "What are you doing?! Are you insane?! You don't know this man!" the voice screamed yet Janet paid it no heed. Before giving up completely her mind gave one last warning, "He'll turn you in!"

Arianna picked up her violen to check the tuneing and make sure it haddn't gotten damaged in her mad flight. "Would you believe me if I told you that I think that ally is haunted?" She asked looking up at Gideon. She picked up a small stack of paper. "Here ... pick a song."

“And why would you say that?” Gideon asked as he sighed with relief that she didn’t recognize his voce, but another part of him wanted her to know that it was him. As he thought a bought it he fingered through the music looking for a song. “ah!” he said when he found the right one and handed it back to Arianna.

I don't know what it said but it sounded like it was right in front of me ... that's why I ran." She picked up her violen and settled it under her chin before drawing the bow across the strings.

Gideon listened as Arianna played the tone. The melody was smooth and he found himself swaying to the beat. Wow, he thought, she plays really good! closing his eyes he relaxed a little bite but soon felt a cold shiver and thrust his eyes open. To his dismay he looked down only to look through himself then quickly became visible.

Arianna looked up only to see Gideon disapear. Shlosed her eyes for a moment telling herself she had not just seen what she saw. She opened her eyes again looking back at the music (not that she needed to, she knew the song by heart) then back up to where Gideon stood again. Ok now to test it She finished the song and then smiled coyly, "Welcome back."

Oh on, she saw! Gideon thought as he tried to cum up with an excuse that he now would not cut it. “um…” he finally managed to say. Fight the erg to go invisible and run all he could do was stare back at Arianna with wide eyes hoping she would not think him a freak, or turn him in for that matter.

"I can make it, and control it ... I don't know how or why. I just can... There now we're even." She closed her hand extinguishing the flaim and once again settleing her violen under her chin. "You're welcome to stay if you want to listen."

Arianna reached over and put the music back with the rest of it. She straightened and began to play again, this time letting the music have it's freedom. She closed her eyes letting the music tell a story. When she opened her eyes again people had started to gather and listen.

Gideon felt his the blood rush to his face as a small crowd started to form. He new that she was a grate player, and that they new it too, but he felt crowded and a bit too . Standing up he walked just out of sight from the people but was still able to hear the music.
