Here is my Entry, Jocelyn: The Lonely Rose...
She is my vampire character that I use just about everywhere there is a vampire RP going on, that is the idea behind the picture of her being bitten by Daeron a boy she used to love and was eventually betrayed by him. After Daeron bit her he fled leaving her to live her life alone in a terrible world. That's the reason for the Lonely Rose aspect of her name... the music notes signalfy her life before her 'death'. She is very reserved, not easy to deal out trust but she is strong and independent.

Here are my first two, I'm hoping to do more if I get a chance. And great entries, I love everyone's so far. This is such an amazing contest.

Dante Salone is the second character I created for AU's RPG Phantom Grey. He adds new meaning to the words pessimistic, dour, and unfriendly.

When Dante stumbles upon a group of rebels, led by the illustrious Phantom Grey, he has no intention of joining up with him. But through a series of (generally unpleasant) events... that is exactly what he does. Dante eventually discovers that he knew the Phantom Grey and his right-hand-man Kjan many years ago when they were boys. (Dante was courting Kjan's older sister, and the pair did everything to him that young boys usually do to besotted suitors, and then some.)

More than anything, Dante fights against liking them. His disappointing past has left him bitter at life and frustrated with those around him. Although the rebels are fighting for a cause that he believes in, he makes it bluntly obvious that he will never support them.

And if you desire to know if the sour-voiced Dante ever does come through and officially join the rebels... well, you shall just have to start reading Phantom Grey for yourself.

Dante is one of my favorite characters because, honestly, he is the utter essence of every pessimistic thought I've ever had. He's an older guy who never really got a chance at life, and now suddenly he's thrust into this grand adventure, and he really doesn't know what to do with himself.

Roy Threstle was a character I created for the RPG Unidentified on this forum. This RPG was about aliens who had invaded earth, and began brutally slaughtering the humans. A handful of people bond together on the inside of a college lab, and stick together, doing anything possible to stay alive.

Geeky, intelligent, awkward around people, and very sweet - Roy wasn't exactly the leader type at the beginning of the RPG. Somehow though, as their small group ran from the aliens, Roy took control of the situation and did his best to lead them on. Even though he was frightened out of his mind, his genuine heart made him always put the other members of the group before himself.

Towards the last pages of the RPG, Roy makes the ultimate sacrifice, and allows himself to be gruesomely killed so that the rest of the group can go on unharmed.

Even though it was in my very early days of RPGing, and I was still not so good at it, Roy will always hold a special place in my heart since he was the only one of my characters that ever actually died. Originally I had intended for him to live and become a hero, but as the RPG - and he - matured, I realized that was not to be his fate.

Thanks, guys! I love reading about everyone's characters! You're both added to the list.

EDIT because *facepalm* I broke my own rule.

Okay, here's my second!

Image
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g111/ ... banner.jpg

This is my 4th age LotR rpg character, Eonera. I'm not to sure of a last name. She's the middle of three children, and the eldest daughter of Lothiriel and Eomer. (older brother Elfwine, younger sister Imrahil). She is very kind and gentle, and only in battle will she get angry or kill something, but also loves a friendly spar every now and then.

The pictures are photoshoped images of me in last year's halloween costume. It seemed to fit perfectly as Eonera.

W00t :) Melikes Devarion muchly, he's cool. You must definitely use him again. Added! And you too, Eruraina.

And *here* is my first entry:
Image
http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee11 ... anner2.png

So this is Raignheidra (Rine-hide-ra) Terhin, known for short as Raign. (This is original fantasy, btw.) She is a former princess, exiled by the usurping baddie, who killed thousands of her people as well as her father and two brothers. She's somewhat co-captain of a ship (she's leader, but doesn't know enough about the ship to really captain effectively), which is crewed by remnants of her people who are still loyal. She's somewhat inclined toward piracy, purely as a means of staying alive. Personality-wise, she's impersonal, distant and difficult to like. She's very much a princess in that her emotions rarely show, and she rarely shares them. She isn't unkind or unfeeling, but it's very hard to get close to her.

Oh, and the actress I used is Sophia Bush.

Hopefully this is not my only entry, so stay tuned, and keep 'em coming, guys!

Yes it was. What Night Brings. That's actually the only thing I've used Raign in, but she's taken on a life of her own.

And lol, I don't know if I ever saw that one, or if I want to :P

Introducing... Belnad from Tur's retired pirates rpg. Not much to say about him, except that his mother had a habit of dropping him on the head at a very tender age. eh, I just liked the picture.

Ellie, what are you talking about. It's what you get when you include 'stunningly beautiful' in your description :P

Here is my first one - (no time to give explanation...edit post with that later.)

Image
http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii30 ... /sammy.jpg

EDIT:

Alright, I chose Ash from my RPG "The Children of the Moon." He is a boy who has been blessed by the moon godness Selena with the gift to shift shapes, basically, and save the modern world from the old world spirits. Yep, that is basically it. :)

And LDM, I LOVE Belnad's banner!! :D He is one of my favorite charactors you portrayed, and the quote and picture, are perfect.

Thanks, Tur! This is amazing, guys, we have ten entries already and not everyone's got theirs in. I'm quite thrilled at the amount of participation we've got going :)

I might have a few more entries in, but for now here are my first two.

Okiedokey, here goes…

Image
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff160/tapsghost/rb1.png

This first entry is of my character Robyn Blackhaven, my newest character for POTC Roleplays. Robyn is the cousin of another of my OC’s, Edward Blackhaven. She’s a lot like him in the respect that she’s very reserved and keeps to herself a lot. Also she prefers to plan things out instead of just jumping into them. And aye, she’s a pirate.

Image
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff160/tapsghost/cl1.png

And the second one is Carmella Lovett, the extremely recluse daughter of Mrs. Lovett from the movie Sweeney Todd. Carmella is 16 years old and has lived a pretty average life; that is until, Sweeney Todd stumbles into her mother’s meat pie shop. Carmella becomes attached to him, thinking of him as her stepfather, and is very curious about his life since her mother hasn’t told her much about it. She loves to write and has aspirations of becoming an author one day and also shares her mother’s love of the ocean.

And if anyone wants to read more about them you can go here, to my character thread. :teehee:

Hah, many thanks, Tur. A pity I couldn't keep up with that rpg, though.

Image

This is Kendath, from Star Crystal. He used to be 114% emo, but he was tossed into some random save-the-world scheme, got ditched by his evil dragon, learned how to ballroom dance, and lost a few dozen daggers in as many epic battles. Oh, and he fell in love. So now he's only 94% emo.

Wow, this was more difficult than I thought. =P I don't really roleplay on this forum, so I wasn't sure who to use that might be relatively interesting.

http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u245 ... anner2.jpg

Amelie Ducarrant (Portrayed by the gorgeous Catrine Larsen)

Original character of mine, created out of late-nights and too much caffeine. She's twenty-two but not of any special birth or station, average features and nothing very extraordinary about her except that she tends to take charge when it's needed.

On her eighteenth birthday she cut her hair short, renamed herself simply Amel, and ran away from home, finding the nearest port and enlisting as a cabin-boy. She spent two years on the vessel Cassiopeia, learning all she could about sailing and navigation, taking to pretty much anything she put her mind to. A shipmate, already angry about being shown up by a younger 'lad' discovered her rather large secret and went to the Captain about it, who promptly set her in a rowboat and sent her on her merry way. In the middle of the ocean. With the skills she'd learned and the map she'd hastily sketched on a piece of cloth, Amelie made her way to the nearest known island and spread around stories of her dangerous sea adventure, none of which ever actually happened. Eventually, after a few brawls and none-too-pleasant encounters, she acquired her own schooner, naming it the "Vela".

http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u245 ... banner.jpg

Graphite Smith (Portrayed by Louis Archer)

Graphite's a bit more complicated to explain, because he's technically insane. Technically.

He grew up a pretty much normal life with his mother raising him, never mentioning his father though he hardly wondered about the man. He painted, a lot, and didn't speak much as he saw everything in pictures instead of the metaphorical scrolling words people sometimes think of as the electrical pulses in their brains. When he was ten years old, he was playing outside in the middle of a storm with a younger boy he'd met, waiting for their mothers to call them for dinner. Long story short, he was hit by lightning and survived, but the other boy didn't. Flash foreward a few years, he's hitting the first downward spirals into young adulthood but getting into more and more dangerous situations. On his fourteenth birthday he was struck by lighting - again, and his mother decided that he was posessed, leaving him on his own to find a great aunt to send him off to school. While at boarding school, he learned to paint and interpret Tarot cards, attributing himself to the inverted 'Magician' card because of the picture's display of a man conducting lightning. He is now 19 and still living at the boarding school, making Tarot decks over and over in various design to pay for his food and lodge.

Sorry. *shift* Kinda long-winded. I've been a writer longer than I've been a graphic-maker.

Hey, totally okay. I find it intriguing to read about everyone's characters, so be as long-winded as you like :) Both yours sound very unique - I love how Amelie gets kicked off the ship as soon as she's discovered, because too many stories have female pirates who are rather too easily accepted. Graphite sounds like a pretty unusual guy, too. :D

Shall update first post with your entries!
