"Excuse <i>me</i>," said Eva, snatching the bracelet away from him again. She gave him a look, then turned back to the river and looked around. There were some faint marks left in the sand, which she examined. "Dra..." she mouthed, keeping the rest in her thoughts. She looked up the bank.

Anakin squinted his eyes as she snatched the bracelet back. He stood for a few moments then said, "Why even look for tracks?" He looked irritated and annoyed. He then raised his voice and said, "She's dead!"

Anakin's eyes looked even more watery in the sun's glare. He was shook up, and nervous. His eyes twitched back and forth and he looked on the ground. "I saw her dead...." He said quietly under his breath.

Anakin just stared at her. His mind left him for a while, then returned to him after a few moments. He then stepped towards Eva, bent down in her ear and whispered, "Eva, I....I would like to speak to you." He couldn't believe what he was doing.

"A craft was here...." She looked up at Eljaraj. "Come on," she said, "We have to get to the others." She ran back up to the city pavement.

Anakin was confused. Why didn't she want to talk to him when he most needed her. Was she still upset over their previous argument? He looked down again then lifted his head back up as he heard Eva run up the pavement. He decided to follow but took slow steps to catch up to her instead of running.

Eva was, as a matter of fact, fed up that every time she offered help he spat on her. She would deal with him later. She ran through the streets, leaving Eljaraj and Anakin far behind her, and finally stopping at a structure that had probably - at one time - been a house. "This is it..." she said. She opened the door and stepped inside.

Anakin finally came to the structure that was before him. He examined it before he made a move. He saw the door that was opened by Eva and decided to go in as well. His back was hunched, he looked as if he was bored to death, but clearly that wasn't it.

Eva walked in and proceeded through the front room to the back, where Luminara had told her that she would find the other Republic fighters. She walked in and was greeted by one of the clones. "Master Jedi," he said, being more respectful than necessary.
"What's the situation?" she asked, approaching the tactics area.
"There is a battle currently underway on the western outskirts of the city," he said, pointing to the hologram. "Units four and five are positioned here, and we have a small group of pilots providing air cover."
"How many units of the enemy are we dealing with?"
"About two," he said.
Eva nodded. "Are there communications to Coruscant available?"
"In the back room," he said, pointing.
"Thank you," she said, nodding. "Excuse me." She walked to the back room just before Anakin entered the main room.

Anakin heard talking, but he was to busy thinking of himself that he knew not what sort of conversation they had in the room. He looked around the main room, he saw no trace of Eva. He closed his eyes and sensed her in the back room. He opened his eyes and headed in it's direction until he reached the door frame.
