Trish wasn't sure how to repond. He wanted her to follow him, to show her something? But what?
She nodded, as if in a trance. She followed him, keeping him in the middle of her vision all the time, not completely trusting him.
"Trust me," he had said earlier. But sometimes it's harder to trust someone who says those two words that should be so comfortings. But when he had said it, it had truth to it.
Trish had caught his shadow of a smile before he had jumped out of the window. Now that she thought about it, this was the first time she had ever seen him smile. Not after the many months of English she had watched him walk into late. Or those times when she had seen him behind the abandoned pizza place across the street.
A thought ran through her head, and Trish stiffened. Was he stalking her and finally making his move? No, he didn't seem like that kind of guy. He seemed like one of those good guys that everyone really thought was bad because he was mysterious. Of course, those were usually her favorite characters in a story...

“Shire,” Gideon replied “But it’s not that I don’t like being different, I love it, it’s just I don’t some science experiment. At least I can scare my mom easily!” he added humorlessly.

Arianna laughted softly tossing her fire colored hair out of her green eyes. "Just don't try it with me ... I'm liable to set you on fire." She glanced over at Gideon her eyes sparkling plafully.

Ash nodded.
Without saying a word, he led Trish to the Pizza Place and past it. He went into the alleyway and under the old, broken metal fence. He went out of the outskirts of the town, but not to far.
Into the forest bordering the city of Chicago.
Ash went into the forest and walked with steps that made it seem like he knew where he was going and had picked out a spot to take Trish already; like he had been there before. All of which he had. He led her into a small clearing, where the treetops parted to let the sunlight shine down upon the grass. The other odd thing about it beside the fact it was the only clearing in the forest was that the treetops formed the shape of a broken star above Ash and Trish. Ash finally stopped and turned to look at Trish, speaking for the first time in a while. His eyes were serious, yet there was a joy found deep within them.
"Trish, you must trust me. What I am about to show you..it is something I have never shown everyone. But when I first meet you...I knew you were the one that I should show. I don't know why...but please, when I do, you must promise me you won't fear me. And if you must break that promise, then you must promise, by your life, that you will tell no one, ever. Do you understand me?" Ash asked her, his voice sincere.

Trish followed Ash, quietly, wondering where he was taking her. He seemed to know where he was going. Then he stopped and turned toward her.
When he finnished speaking, she went over his words in her mind for a moment.
"I promise," she said, barely catching the joy in his eyes as she looked into them. "I promise I won't be afraid, and I promise I won't tell anyone, ever... if you promise to keep, what I can do secret?" the last part was almost in a whisper...

Ash nodded, touching Trish's shoulder lightly.
"I would never do that to you...especially to you."
Then, he took a step back and thought for a moment. To what should I reveal in? Hawk? Cat? Rabbit? Snake? None of those seemed to fit Ash or his personailty...yet he didn't want to scare her. Ah, I know. He thought and with one more hair flip, shut his eyes and bent his head.
Ash thought about his body; what it looked like in human form, what it felt like, how it moved. He thouht about each part, how it fit together, how it connected, what its purpose was. Then, he thought about the shape he was about to take. Rugged, dark, shaggy, yet strong. He felt each of his muscles, thought about the blood running through his veins, how his muscles worked. He flexed his fingers and toes and felt his body slowly shift, becoming smaller, stronger. Soon, with a small breeze to help the process, his arms became forelegs and his black hair covered his body. His blue eyes became yellow and his teeth grew into fangs.
Ash had became an Alpha Male wolf.

Trish watched with wide eyes as the boy infront of her turned into a wolf. Her hands covered her mouth, and she felt her eyes water with tears. She wasn't sure what to think, what to feel. What was she feeling? Relief? Fear? Sadness? Maybe it was knowing that she wasn't the only freak of nature.
Trish dropped to her knees so she was eye level with the wolf. With Ash. Her mixed emotions triggered her power and a wind started to blow through the clearing, making Trish's red hair wip around her face.
"So I'm... not alone," she murmered...

Arianna smiled. "Now ... we go inside." She walked up the wide set of stairs to an apartment building. She looked back over her shoulder. "You comming or should I toss the cookies out the window to you when their done?" She teased waiting on the top stepp.

Ash blinked, his ears hearing her breathing and her voice more clearly than a normal humans would. He saw her tears and heard her, almost a whipser...
"I am not alone..."
Ash was glad that she was not scared of him and moved towards her. He moved so close that he could touch her with his nose if he wished. And he did. He nuzzled her hand, trying to get her to stop sheding the tears of...of what? Relief? Joy? Or, as Ash hoped against, fear. He would have to ask her; but later. Right now, he was a wolf, and he planned to stay that way for a few more moments.

Trish's heart stopped when the wolf came closer and nudged her hand. She blinked away the tears, and became her old emotionless self.
"I'm not scared," she said, and put her hand on his shoulder. The scene was starting to get too emotional for her. Suddenly her phone in her pocket went off, and she jumped up in a fright. She pulled it out and looked at the number.
"No... not him," she murmered, and answered it.
"Trish! Is the house ready?! Where are you? You do know I'm getting out in a few days, right? You better be there!" Said the voice on the other line...

The wolf cocked his head to one side as in wondering, Who?, his big yellow eyes looking up at Trish. Then, hearing slight fear in her voice, Ash growled at the phone, barring large, shart fangs.
