Can I join? My favorite drivers are Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. :-D

The season to date has been alright. Nothing spectacular, but also not horrible. There have been a few good races this year, but to offset that Toyota has won races. :yuck:

*cough*cheatersandwhiners*cough*

I'm happy with the season so far. Very frustrated with Tony's progress but with Kyle's progress; woot! I am so becoming a #18 fan!

It is unfortunate that many people have to make up excuses about why #24 and #48 can destroy the competition on any given Sunday. I have heard everything under the sun hurled at those two, to make their accomplishments seem null, when in fact they are by far the best two racers in NASCAR. I believe it is Jimmie Johnson who has raced for three years less than Tony Stewart, and yet has as many championships and two more wins than Stewart.

I would much rather be a fan of a team that drives for American manufacturers, than one that drives for Toyota. That company is notorious for cheating.

yes, but the Joe Gibbs team is known for NOT cheating. Gordon and JOhsnon's crew chiefs were suspended for several races last year for cheating; and it's a known fact that Hendricks was imprisoned or charged with some sort of fraud several years ago.

Knaus has basically stated that they will pay the fines and continue to cheat because they are allowed to get away with it.

Stewart, and JGR fans are NOT the only ones who are complaining about the treatment of the Hendricks' Motorsports crew chiefs against other chiefs; Bob Osbourne *who is the chief for the #99* was suspended and MADE TO STAY AWAY FROM THE TRACk for six weeks because he and his team cheated. but yet, when Letarte and Knaus were "suspended" last year, they were allowed to text and call the interim crew chiefs, and allowed to be on the track during their suspensions, when in reality, they weren't supposed to.

However, the reason I am mainly happy this year is that Gordon adn Johson have had strings of bad luck and it's making me gleeful to see someone actually beating them who is better! Not referring to JGR cars; ANY car but a roush\Fenway and a Hendricks car that wins on Sunday is better in my book than them.

but, eventually, cheating WILL catch up with the Hendricks team and everyone will see that they aren't as hot as they think they are. No offense is meant to the fans, I hate the drivers because of what they stand for; and Gordon especially is a false Christian who got a woman pregnant out of marriage.

there, I've ranted and i will always and forever back up JGR because he's a Christian, and I respect him and his teams because they DON'T cheat and whine, and they try to win races and get ahead honestly and fairly. I think this year will be JGR's year; more specifically, kyle Busch. I have a feeling he will finish the year within the top five Chase standings.

I have no doubt that JGR is the team of the future, but that is mainly because they are going to have the manufacturer that is willing to spend an endless amount of money, and do whatever it takes to win races (including cheating as they do in every form of motorsports, Michael Waltrip Racing's issue last year at Daytona anyone).

Although cheating is not to be condoned, everyone in the garage area does it, the microscope is just largely on Hendrick, so when they are caught everyone makes a big deal out of it. Racing is and always has been about working in the grey areas. Winners are simply the people who work in those areas the best.

As for the suspensions of last year, I believe that Knaus and Letarte were both not allowed to be on the track during the weekend. I remember that Dale Earnhardt Jr went through the same sort of penalty, but his chief could be on the premises. However that changed when Knaus and Letarte, were suspended. As for the texting and calling, no one can honestly believe that did not happen during Osbourne's suspension.

I do not respect Kyle Busch any longer. I will not argue that he is one of the most talented drivers out there, but he is so cocky and proud, that he ruins all the talent he has.

Only God is allowed to judge people’s lives. I will refrain from judging any of the driver’s personal lives, because everything you hear is rumors.

I hope everyone enjoyed the bad luck, because it is over and Jimmie is coming for the championship.

his new commercial with him is slightly disturbing....though I love the song, lol.

@CB on Kyle Busch-I haven't seen hardly any attitude from him this year. Maybe I'm just stupid, dumb, or deaf, but he seems to be on a good track *no pun intended* with his attitude because I think being around a piece of dynamite like tony is helping. I mean, Kyle has had tremendous success and he can drive ALL over the track and still keep his car in good shape. I'm not FULLY a fan of him, since I never liked him, and I wished that he didnt' come to JGR but if he gets them some wins, I'm not complaining. :D *and just because Toyota cheats, doesn't mean that EVERY team who races for Toyota cheats*; Tony got upset at his team sometime last year when he thought they had intentionally either raised or lowered his car to make it faster. It turned out it was just the way the car had adjusted to the track. tony has been vocal in calling out NASCAR on their "debris" cautions and there's been evidence, such as when in one race the announcers said that there would be a caution within the next few laps because either Gordon or Johsnon was a lap down. Happened. yet, Tony was slapped with several fines for speaking the truth.

Now, i'm not condoning some of what he's said because he could have put it differently and he could have kept his mouth shut, but I admire him for wanting to be truthful and wanting to speak the truth. especially when he said that us fans get all the bs from others because of what Tony does. Proud to get the bs and I wouldn't change being a Stewart fan for anything; even though I'm pretty much a Hamlin fan also.

I must admit that if this latest rumor of Stewart leaving JGR and buying into Haas CNC racing (satellite team of Hendrick Motorsports) is true, I will begin liking him third best. Here is the link to that rumor:

http://www.jayski.com/cupnews.htm#news20

As for Kyle Busch having an attitude, the truck race at Martinsville is where I really started to realize it. I remember he wrecked Johnny Benson, who is fighting for the championship. Kyle easily had third, but he tried to get more and took out one of the leaders. This is alright, but Kyle's attitude after the race is where he showed his true colors. I can not understand how he could be upset at Benson's crew when he wrecked their driver. I believe Kyle said he has a reason to be upset because he got wrecked as well. How can he possibly be the one that should be upset when he is the one who started the wreck. To me Kyle thinks he has more talent than he actually does. His craziness on the track is going to cost him the championship this year.

I do agree that the "debris" cautions are most of the time bogus. However, if you can tell the exact race where the announcers said that a caution was going the come out because Jeff or Jimmie was a lap down, I will watch that race to see it for myself. I personally have not missed watching a race in years, and I never remember anything like that being said.

I do believe that NASCAR would do that. However, it would not be only for Gordon and Johnson, but also for Stewart and Earnhardt Jr.

he may have shown that in the Truck series, but I haven't seen it in either the Nationwide or the Cup side. That is where I pay most attention.

I wouldn't mind Stewart going to another team *although, if he went to Ganassi or Hendricks, my support would stop right there and I'd fully support Denny Hamlin* or even owning his own team. I don't know if you can even drive when owning your own team; though I think Waltrip does...dont' know why he bothers to drive; he hasn't had a win in years. I don't remember the exact race; it was sometime last year and I'm nearly 99% sure that it was broadcast on Fox, which would have DW and Larry mcReynolds *sp?* as announcers. If I can ever remember the exact race I'll tell you but about the only thing I keep tabs on for every race is where each JGR car places and who wins, lol. I have a schedule for each race and I put where Tony finishes each week....some races I don't even bother to watch because they're so boring; like the Subway race and the Cup race at Texas *yawn* fell asleep during that one. *shrugs*
