Under the tall, golden Mallorn Trees of Lórien, MH (Mrs. Haldir) stood nervously, dressed in her ->wedding gown<-, holding her now three month old son, while waiting for the guests and her husband to arrive. One year ago today had past since the two had married. But no ceremony was performed. The two had eloped instead, by Haldir’s wish. He wasn’t fond of making a public display out of their wedding, being the proud and stubborn self that he was. She could not blame him for being who he is. The idea of gatherings of any sort were never his thing, but over time he was started to get better. Although she wasn't happy with the choice, she went with it. Saying no to him was hard sometimes. He now had come to wish that he didn't deprive his wife of a ceremony. The two had decided to make up for it by having a post-wedding ceremony on their one year anniversary.
They had chosen Lady Galadriel to perform the ceremony. She herself was happy to see that former Galadhrim captain realized his error and was willing to correct that error.
MH had suspected Haldir was up to something, but she didn’t know what. She sensed he had something planned upon his arrival. She looked around as if though he would suddenly appear out of no where at any time. Galadriel grinned to herself, as if though she knew what Haldir had planned. Of course she knew, she never missed anything that went on around the Golden Wood.

Pandora smiled as she looked upon Lothlorien. It had been a long time since she had entered this realm, it was way overdue, and what better way to come back than for MH's post-ceremony. Dressed in a royal blue >gown::. she walked beside her husband of two years, Glofindel who wore a rich green.::tunic<. Taking her husbands hand she walked towards the mallorn tree where Mrs. Haldir stood with her three month old son.

"Congratulations on your one year Mrs.Haldir!"

Hearing footsteps approaching, Mrs. Haldir turned to see that it was her great-grandmother, Pandora and her husband, Glorfindel. Happy to see that she had come, MH waved to her.
"Mae govannen, great-grandmother!" she greeted happily. "I am so glad you have come." It was hard to believe it had been a whole year already. "Thank you," MH said. "It sure has been an eventful year."

Nauriel slipped into the ceremony, immediatly walking up to Mrs. Haldir. "Congratulations!" She cried happily. She smiled at Pandora, who was also greeting Mrs. Haldir. "You look gorgeous in that dress."

Pandora smiled as she walked up to her great-grandaughter and gave the beautiful bride a hug, making sure to be gentle with the three year old child. Glorfindel leaned forward and kissed his great-grandaughters cheek, both smiling at MH. "We wouldn't have missed this for the world!"

Pandora stated just as she heard more footsteps, turning around she saw Nauriel approaching and gave the other a warm smile, allowing her room to speak to MH as well.

"Nauriel! Welcome!" Mrs. Haldir greeted as she arrived. "And thank you."

Carefully holding the infant in one arm, Mrs. Haldir reached out with her free arm and returned Pandora's hug, while Almárion still remained asleep, unphased on what was going on around him.
"I am very excitied," MH said. "I hope the ceremony will start soon."

Glorfindel smiled to the girls and walked off in search of Haldir to see how the elf was holding up to the pre-ceremony butterflies. Pandora kissed her husband before he left and turned back to Nuriel and Mrs. Haldir. "Your son is precious..." She mentioned idly, Pandora was known to be random at times.

Mrs. Haldir watched as Glorfindel walked off, perhaps in search of her husband who has yet to show up. He must be nervous.
"Thank you," MH said with a smile. "His name is Almárion."

(I wrote up a Haldir POV)

Haldir walked quickly towards the ceremonial site, knowing the lady, his wife and the guests were waiting. He hoped she wouldn't be upset with him for running late. It was his own fault anyway. He hid behind a tree, taking a moment to adjust his hair and make sure his outfit was straight. Normally he wouldn't fuss over his appearance, but today, he wanted to look his best. He hoped she liked what he was wearing. He also wondered what her gown looked like.
He fiddled with a small box in his hands. A box that contained a gift for his wife. He had waited until the last moment to purchase the gift. Even though Haldir's salary could buy his wife the finest clothes and fairest of jewels, they were not things she desired. She was a simple elleth who liked simple things.
Haldir sighed. Realizing that he stalled too long, he shoved the box into the pocket of his trousers and made his way out from behind the tree only to nearly bump into Glorfindel, his wife's great-grandfather. He must have come to find him. He bowed his head out of respect. "My lord."

Pandora smirked as she heard the childs name. "Very fitting!" Brushing her hand through the others soft downy hair she looked over towards the Mallorn trees as she sensed her husband, he had found Haldir.

Glorfindel walked with practice ease through the trees of Lorien. Bowing his head to the few elves he saw along the way he was just about to turn the corner when he felt someone run full-force into him. He stumbled back a bit and shook his head a bit to get his mind back together before he saw who had run into him. "Haldir! Just the man I was looking for, and please... just call me Glorfindel, you are my great-grandson-in-law" He smiled with the warmth of an eldar.

Mrs. Haldir smiled. "Thank you," she said. "It was my husband who had picked the name." (it means Blessed Son)

"My apologies," Haldir said lifting his head. He did come searching for him after all. Glorfindel appeared calm and even smiled. Perhaps he himself wasn't upset with him for being late, but he wasn't sure how his wife was taking it. He had to know.
"Glorfindel, my wife is not upset with my delay is she?" Haldir asked.

"Well, it was a good choice. Haldir choose wisely" She smirked as she ran her hand through the young childs hair again, missing a being that small. All her own children were grown up now, full elflings, she hadn't seen them in a long time, and she had quite the large family.

Glorfindel smiled and reached out to squeeze Haldir's shoulder giving the other a reassuring look. The Lorien elf looked miffled at the moment, and he could understand the feeling. He remembered two years ago when he and his wife had gotten married, the nerves he had... "She isn't upset, just anxious to see you..."

Elenriel breathed a sigh of contentment as she admired the beauty of Lorien. It seemed to have been many years since she last entered the realm of the Golden Woods and yet it was as splendid as she remembered. Clad in an teal colored <a href="http://www.rivendellbridal.com/files/luthien11606side2.jpg">gown</a> she walked beside her husband who wore a rich, elven
<a href="http://www.amberskys-world.de/artwork/pics/ebe_legolas3.jpg">tunic</a>. “A glorious day for a joyous occasion.” she remarked quietly.

“Indeed” Legolas replied.

As the couple came upon Mrs. Haldir, Pandora and Nauriel, Elenriel gave the three ladies a warm smile “Pandora, Naur, how wonderful to see you!” she exclaimed in excitement. She then turned to Mrs. Haldir. “Congratulations, my dear! You look absolutely stunning!” she said with a warm smile.

“Congratulations, my lady. May your lives together continue to be blessed” Legolas told her.

“Oh and before I forget, her is a belated wedding gift.” Elenriel told MH as she handed her a small, velvet box containing a simple yet elegant star-shaped necklace. “And something for your son, since we probably missed the baby shower” she added with a bit of a sheepish grin as she handed her a bag with a cute elven outfit and silver rattle.

"Indeed he did." Mrs. Haldir smiled. She won't say that it actually didn't take long for Haldir to pick a name. He had chosen it not long after they had learned the gender of the baby, but had kept it a secret until he was born.
MH looked up when she saw Elenriel and Legolas arrived. "Mae govannen!" she greeted them. "I am so glad you both could come."

"Oh thank you, Elenriel," MH said smiling. "You look wonderful yourself. I love the color of your gown, it is a fine choice."
She looked over at Legolas and tipped her head to him. "Thank you dear Prince."
Mrs. Haldir turned her attention back to Elenriel as she presented her with the gifts. "Oh, such a lovely necklace," she said brightly. "Thank you very much. I do believe little Almárion will love his new toy." Mrs. Haldir looked down seeing the infant still asleep in her arms.

Haldir sighed in relief. He prefered anxious than upset. He will admit it out loud, but he was nervous and anxious himself. "I think I best arrive before she does start getting upset with me," Haldir said calmly. He has already done a couple of things to upset her in the past and he sure didn't want to this be added to the list.

"Why thank you." Elenriel replied. "And we wouldn't have wanted to miss this occassion for the world." She then looked at the babe sleeping in MH's arms. "Is this little Almárion? My he is precious." she cooed as she gave her husband a slight smile.

"Elenriel!" Pandora smiled when her sister walked over with her husband Legolas. Both looked stunning in their elven garb. Just as she spoke Glorfindel walked down from a nearby mallorn tree and wrapped an arm aound her waist.

"He's coming..." He said simply which made Pandora smirk
