I think we had a thread like this for last year, but I couldn't find one for 2008 (I looked, honest I did) so I was wondering what films everyone had already seen this year at cinema, and what so far, you know you want to see.
Have Seen
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street National Treasure 2: Book Of Secrets The Spiderwick Chronicles
Want to See
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Not hugely excited to see this as of yet, but I am looking forward to it and no doubt as the time gets nearer, I'll be more SQUEE!
WALL-E - YES! I am soooo looking forward to seeing this!! Seriously, that robot is so darn cute I want to marry him.
Quantum of Solace - Yay! My first Bond film at the cinema. I'm really looking forward to seeing Daniel Craig on the big screen *drools silently in corner* and... yeah.. I'm excited.
Prince Caspian - Oh, my goodness, two months away?! That came out of nowhere, I'm too surprised to be excited as of yet, but definitely one I want to watch in the cinema.
Hellboy 2 - Yes, this should be something worth watching on the big screen. As long as there are no Nazi hat wearing gas mask people, as he scared the heck of out me in the last film.
Inkheart - Don't know much about it, but hey, it has Brendan Fraser and Andy Serkis so how abd can it be?
The Happening - Oooooh, any M. Night Shyamalan film has my attention and the fact the plotine "the Earth fights back" made me instantly imagine viewing the world from space, and watching it hit itself over the head repeatedly with a frying pan, is another good reason to watch it.
The Dark Knight - Ooooh, I wouldn't miss watching this in the cinema. Quite excited to see this (even more so that Katie "I cannae act" Holmes is no longer around.
And that pretty much concludes the summer film viewing for me. It's actually one of my better years, as I usually go maybe 4-5 times (mainly because modern films don't always appeal to me), so it's quite busy so far for me. Yay for sequels, lol.

I haven't seen any movies this year. I want to see Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones. Maybe the new Batman movie too.

Movies I have seen:
Cloverfield - Awesome. Gonna buy the super duper Blu-Ray edition to play on my PS3 and weep with joy at it's gorgeousness.
Jumper - Nowhere near as bad as critics would have you believe. I truly enjoyed this.
Alien v Predator: Requiem - Aliens and Predators having a massive fight. The End. Brilliant.
If I've seen anything else, I've forgotten them
Now...Movies I want to see:
Iron Man - Out real soon and I'm gagging to see it and I'm not even an Iron Man fan. But John Favreau is going to make me one.
Speed Racer - Glorious eye candy. This looks super insane and I can't wait.
The Hulk - Interested in this new version.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Hyped for this. I'm an old school Indy fangirl. It looks fantastic.
The Dark Knight - What needs to be said really?
Babylon AD - Curious about this one. I've seen nothing about it, at all. No trailer. No pics, no poster nothing.
Doomsday - Looks and sounds bonkers
Chemical Wedding - Bruce Dickinson written film about Aleister Crowley. Looks utterly mental.
Forbidden Kingdom - Jet Li and Jackie Chan...in the same movie together. For the first time ever. Like I'm NOT going to see this somehow.
Prince Caspian - Looks fab.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I don't go to the movies all that often... I saw National Treasure 2 in January with my sunday school class at church before we all went back to college for the spring semester.
I want to see Baby Mama (lol it looks hilarious, but I like SNL... so...), but I don't know if I'll actually get around to it.
Thinking about Prince Caspian.
Don't know about the rest of the year.

Interesting thread, Ms JF.
Sadly, my film viewing has SEVERELY decreased since last spring. It's terribly disappointing.
THIS YEAR, the films I HAVE SEEN are:
"Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber Of Fleet Street." Don't think I need to elaborate how much I'm in love with it.
"10,000 B.C." Actually not that bad. I enjoyed it a lot. I mean, it wasn't archeologically feasible, buuuut, still. It was cool.
ANNNND...that's it. Yeah, that's ALL I've seen this year. HA HA HA HA.
Now, the films I'd LIKE TO SEE are:
"The Dark Knight" BATMAN. Yeah, that's all that needs to be said. (Of the movies I want to see, this is the one I WILL be going to see the day it opens) I have been waiting for this film since we found out there was going to be more.
"The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian" Yeah, looks really exciting. Duh.
"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" Who DOESN'T want to see Indiana Jones?? Harrison Ford <3
Uhhhh, yeah. That's pretty much all I want to see. But, I don't really know what else there is. Haven't paid a lot of attention. The three I listed are probably the only ones that I'll be seeing in theatres.

i want to see indiana jones (which i'm taking my dad to see, becaause he gt me watching the original trilogy), prince caspian (which i'm going to see for my birthday, as it comes out around the same time), and defiance (more jamie bell love).

I think the only movie I've seen this year would be National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets. I wanted to see the new Veggietales movie, Horton Hears a Who, and a few others but didn't.
I definitely want to see Prince Caspian; I'll probably get to see that one maybe two or three times. and next year, I'm totally going to see Star Trek XI; I want to see a ST movie in theaters, provided the content is okay for me.
