Cuddy turned to look at the girl, surprised. She had assumed that House was out of line, Virginia had never even crossed her mind.

"You were yelling at the patient's mother? This is a hospital, and no matter what your uncle may say, that is completely unprofessional. Don't let it happen again." She said sternly, glancing sideways at House.

With that, Cuddy stalked out, back to her office.

"I was not!" Cameron said resentful when House accused her but fortunately Cuddy knew her employees well. When Cuddy had stalked off again she said impatient "Can we get back to the patient now? The girl is obviously too young to suddenly develop tumors.."

"Well you might help us along!" Cameron said "or don't you care at all?" She went over to House's white board and grabbed the marker. Deliria, trouble with respiration, low heart and in fat black letters Cameron wrote at the bottom of the board: tumors.

"Do you now take over?" she asked.

Chase watched Cameron and grinned. She just couldn't resist bothering House in one way or the other.. "I say it's an enviromental thing." he spoke "Like Cameron said, she's too young just to develop a tumor. There must be something wrong in their house.:

Foreman came into Houses' office after some time. "The second blood test ruled out the use of anti-depressants or any other similar drugs too."
He stepped beside Cameron. "The mother...she wants to talk to you. She is completely down. They brought Cecile away for the surgery and she broke down. I brought her to a room where she can lay down and rest a bit. I gave her something so she will calm down a bit. She talked about she had found something in the girls' bag...something which had obviously unsettled her. She didn't want to tell me what it was. She just said she wanted to talk to you."

Abigail didn't think of calming down, nor did she lay still like the doctor had told her before. She walked around the room, clutching the little bag her daughter had had with her. She stared at it, shaking her head. Why had she done this? What had she wanted to do? Why hadn't she realized this before? She sat down in a chair, still clutching the bag, waiting for the doctor she had talked to before. She needed someone to talk now. She couldn't deal with this alone. She was helpless. She needed professional help. Cecile needed help. After looking into her bag, Abigail had realized it had been the truth. This young intern had been right. Cecile was stressed. She couldn't handle this anymore. Abigail sighed and put her head down. Four hours...at least they had told her. Four...up until six hours she had to wait for news how her daughter was doing. She closed her eyes and started crying again. She was so tired of life; so tired of everything. She needed someone with her now. She needed someone to talk to.
