Trish crossed her arms and propped her elbows on her knees. She layed her chin on her arms, and looked at Ash.
"Thank you," she said, not exactly sure of what she was saying thank you for. There was a moment of silence then she spoke again. "It's kind of wierd talking to a wolf, knowing its really a person. But, your cloths disapeared... does that mean if you change back to human, you'll be wearing your cloths?"

Corban shrugged. "There's the million dollar question." He glanced behind him, then back to her. He didn't say anything, however. He was silently debating whether or not to tell his newfound friend that he was a mind reader.

((Soon we will all meet guys, just not quite yet.  ))
Then, in a split second, the wolf disappeared, and a voice came out of the air, from the forest.
"Then I will be a wolf no more."
And then, out of the shadows, Ash came walking, still in his black pants and shirt, his hair still being worn in its shaggy black fashion. He smiled one of his rare smiles at Trish and sat next to her, his dark blue eyes gazing at her. "Is this better?" He asked.

Janet cocked her head at the look on Cordan's face. What was he thinking about? "Something else Cordan?" she asked then bit her lip. She didn't mean to seem like she was prying. "Sorry, I don't mean to meddle."

Corban shook his head. "No, you're fine." He paused. "You know that you can move things with your mind?" He looked at her for a second. "Well," He started. Here went nothing. "I can also do things with my mind... I can read minds." Corban turned his gaze away, avoiding eye contact. Who knew what she (or anyone else) would think about having a mind reader around.

"You can read minds?" She suddenly Janet blushed as that thought sunk in. So, how much did he know? She looked back at Coban and noticed he wouldn't look at her. "I don't mind. Sure, it's a little different knowing you can read my mind. And it could lead to an awkward situation, but that doesn't change what I think about you. Don't worry, Corban."

Trish couldn't help but give a small grin.
"Yes, very," she said, and then was silent for a moment. "When you were a wolf, I noticed the pendent on your neck, of a moon. I have one too," she pulled out hers from under her shirt to show Ash...

Corban blinked. Once. Twice. He had never told anyone, save his very close relations, that he was able to read minds, and even his mother was this calm with it. He was shocked, to say the least, that this girl, whom he had just met, was alright with it.
"I... Thank you." He paused, and looked up at Janet. "No one has ever been that calm about it before." He sighed in irony. "Not even my mom."

Ash looked at her for a moment, his eyes searching her face, before he looked down at his own pendant. "Ah, yes, this old thing. I've had it ever since I could remember." Then he looked at hers. It was the same pendant.
The exact same.
"Where did you get yours?" He asked, his voice curious with a little anxiousness in his tone.

"Um... I'd tell you if I knew, but I don't remember. It's like I've always had it. It's been my comfort through hard times," Trish said, wrapping her fingers around it slowly because this was the one thing she cherished most...

Trish nodded and was silent again. She was in her own thoughts now. The silence wasn't an uncomfortable one, it was more comfortable and companionable.
"Can you turn into more than just a wolf, Ash? Like a horse or an eagle?" she asked...

Ash thoughts broke and he looked back up at Trish. He smirked slightly and said, "What do you think I am?" He stood then and then, a small breeze swept through the forest, making all the leaves on every tree blow. After the breeze passed, Ash was nowhere to be seen. In his place, in the air, was a red-tailed falcon flapping his wings. With a quick caw, the falcon took off into the air gracefully, flying about Trish.
