Ohohoh! Welcome to AU, Eärendil Mariner & St!  A fellow Narnia/LotR fan is always welcome.  I'm so happy to have you here!  I'm sure you'll fit in perfectly, so don't hestitate to branch out into the differnt sections of the site.

Welcome welcome Eärendil... may I ask who the ST are?
As the others have said before me, this is a great place and yo seem like a great person so we're happy to have you. It's a huge forum and can be a little overwhelming in the beginning but people are generally very friendly here so don't hesitate to ask questions here or PM me whenever you need it.

Hello, I am Elendë! I am from Russia, so English is not my mother tongue and I apologize if I wright something wrong. I found this site about a year ago but I decided to join you only several weeks ago. And I'm so glad about that!
I'm a huge Tolkien fan and I love the screen version of The Lord of the Rings very much. It was so hard to me to find the direction verson, but at last I did it And now I'm trying my best in reading Tolkien's books in the original. Honestly, it's much more easy for me to read in English than to speak. But now I have a great chance to practice my language
