Vincent watched Aules run off, but didn't move from his spot. As the sun was rising, more could be seen in the rubble. Bodies of both attackers and defenders lay scattered here and there. But, at least some survived, he thought, glancing at Fierya, then up the street to see a figure slowly walking towards them.
Sierra walked along the rode, eyes darting around her, dagger in hand and bloodied. In her other arm lay Nelnya with a torn wing and a cut along her slender back that lined up with the tear. That was the wound she recieved from her earlier bravery. The little creature was alseep, tail wrapped around Sierra's waste as far as it would go, head resting on her elbow. The water elemental spotted Vincent and Fierya, and ran up.
"Are you survivors?" she asked.
"I am not but a traveler who came upon this village when it was already in ruin," Vincent said. "And this woman I'm not so sure."
Sierra glanced at Fierya. The girl looked familiar, yet so much like a stranger.
"Do I know you?" she asked, brows furrowed in trying to remember.

((@ Will - ))
Fierya felt herself be put on the ground and said nothing as Aelus left, simply nodding, and then adding before he left. "Be careful. Don't make me come after you." She said, teasing for obvious reason and then looked at the man that was standing in front of her, not to far, but not to near either.
A wise move.
She did fell awkward, however, sitting on the ground in front of him, not talking. She felt helpless....weak. She hated feeling like that. Loathed it. Then, another woman came. Fierya looked over at her and thought for a moment.
"You might. If you have a name, I might remember more. On the subject of survivors, all I know is the count is low. Very low. I almost didn't survive and I only fought one and got there late. They were a different type of evil, that is for certain." She informed them.

"I am Sierra," she said, and licked her dry lips at the woman's notion of very few survivors. "Yes, the amount is small. I have not found any, searching the far section of the village."
Vincent listened to the two talking, remaining silent. There wasn't much to say now. Though sometimes the druid had a habbit of rambling on like an old man, though he wasn't that old, was he?

Aelus, his deceased master in his arms, walked solemnly into the woods. His head was downcast, and it was all he could do to keep the tears at bay. He had already asumed that his master would be dead - but actually seeing him made it really sink in hard.
He intended to bury him here, in the woods. Jeyro always did adore these woods. But first, he would tend to Fierya. In the scenario, the living were more important than the dead.
Deciding to spare his fellow elementals the sight of a dead body, he set down his master several yards from what had become their 'camp'. Trying in vain to regain even a bit of composure, Aelus went over to Fierya, without greeting the others, and knelt by her. "Here." He said simply, pulling out a vial of potion. "Drink this - it will speed up the healing process. But don't eat anything for a couple of hours. It'll make you throw up." He said all of this with an oddly sad tone, his eyes distant.

Star Gazer wrote: Elenriel - It will never cease to amaze me how you can come up with good, loooong posts all the time. Very good!)) Aww. Thanks SG. Normally my posts are not that long, but I guess I just got carried away. And I loved reading yours and Tur's post as well. Nienna of Rohan wrote: Dune and Riko were already by Minna's side when Callisto and Darrien came to join them. Riko looked up at them, desperate,"She'll not be dead. The air heals her! Partially...." Dune looked at Callisto sadly,"Is there anything you can do to help her? The air will do most of the healing for her, the rest will take time, but...I just hope it's not to late for her..."
Callisto nodded as Darian set her down. Nodding her thanks to him, she turned quickly to glance at Minna's wounds. Her mother had taught her some tricks of the healing art-but Callisto knew that she was in no way as skilled as she. Wincing as she reached for her pack, she pulled out some of the herbs she carried-herbs given to her by her mother. "This should help somewhat..." she said quietly as she crushed the herbs into a paste and applied to the wounds.

((Aww, thanks deary! I loved reading yours! Full of detail!))
Fierya nodded at Sierra. The name didn't sound familuar, and she did have a bad memory of the past - but that was because she chose to forget. Then, she heard a noise and saw Aelus approach. A sudden joy filled her heart and caught Fierya by surprise. She hadn't been so happy to see anyone in ages, it seemed like. She hadn't ever been so happy. She didn't let it show in her face, though. She didn't want the two others to think they were in a relationship or anything!
Altought, that wasn't such a bad idea.
Fierya cursed at herself and told herself to think of other matters. Romance was not important at the moment. But as Aelus came up and gave her the potion, she looked into his eyes, then at his strong hands and features, and it was hard to think of anything but. She nodded and drank it quickly - though it tasted like the devil, it did - and then looked back at Aelus. Hidden in his handsome eyes was sorrow. Fierya could tell that feeling better than any other, besides anger or rage. She took a better look at him and he looked upset. Broken, somehow.
"Thank you, Aelus." She told him sincerely, but then asked, concerned, "Are you alright?"

Aelus didn't respond right away, and refused to look her in the eye. "Fine." He said, completely contrare to his sad features. "You leg should be well enough to work in about half and hour." Without another word, he rose to his feet, and went back in the direction that he came.
Picking up the wrapped body once more, it didn't take Aelus very long to find a small ditch, which he presumed to have been carved by a long-gone river. Carefully, ever respectfully, he placed his master's dead body into the ground. He covered it with dirt, and then with a layer of rocks. Almost an hour later, Before he was done, his cheeks were wet. He never really thought that he would have to bury his master. He hadn't even gotten to say goodbye.
"I suppose that's it, then." He said to himself.

Fierya was surprised by the sudden reply and the quick leave and simply looked at the ground, trying to make sense of it. How weird...what could he have seen back there to make him behave that way? Blood and gore would do no such thing, not to a warrior... She thought.
About an hour later, Fierya pushed herself up and stood, almost falling, but managing. She was stiff and she knew it would be painful to shift, but she would do it anyways. She wasn't going to let a little thing like a broken leg stop her at doing what she was good at.
And that was fighting.

Before he had buried him, Aelus had taken one possesion off of his master. His pendant.
"This, little Aelus," Master Jeyro said, "Is the healer's seal. It is a symbol that will let everyone, around the world, know that you are a healer." He showed the round pendant to Aelus. It was simple, the symbol of a tree surrounded by water- Both were thought to have healing powers - made of steel wire. Surrounding it was green gemstone, translucent, to let light shine through.
Master Jeyro put it back around his neck. "One day, Aelus, you will wear this, when I am gone. But," he said with a smile, ruffling Aelus' short black hair, "That day is a while away, I might say."
"Not too far." Aelus said sadly. Now, many years later, he tied the black leather cord around his neck, the healer's pendent falling to his chest. He thinned his lips, glancing at his sword. The time would come when he needed it. That time would come very soon, he imagined. Carefully taking it out of its scabbard, Aelus wondered just how long it had been since he had wielded a weapon.

Minna awoke to absolute pain and groaned,"What happened?" "You got hurt." Riko said sadly. She turned her head to look at Callisto,"Callisto? Where's my dragon, has anyone seen her?" "Nope." Dune said,"I don't see her anywhere." He turned to Callisto,"Will any of the elementals be able to sense the dragon?"

[ Okay I'm not sure where everybody is but I'll just try to improvise. ]
Galain left Mazaska on the edge of the village and found Vincent, the druid, in the ruins of what earlier had been the living place of his kin or friends.
"What is the damage?" he asked the man although he himself knew and felt the answer. He wasn't quite sure what the druid was doing here because he'd always been there when he was needed for advice or support.
[sorry.. I lack the inspiration to write something interesting right now.. don't think that the fact that it's an hour past midnight has something to do with it.. but I'll just go to bed right now ]

(lol *loves to improvise*)
Vincent turned to see Galain walk up to him.
"There much damage done. I have not seen a building left whole, or a person unscratched. I have not met any survivors save for those who came late to the defense of the village," he informed, leaning on his staff. "Many fell deeds have been done, and this may only be the beginning."

"And a terrible beginning at that." Fierya said simply, walking over to the two men, limping only slightly. (Which was very, very good.) She nodded at both of the men, and said, "Have either of you heard from any of the other Elementists? I am curious to see if any of them figured out with those things were."

Aelus' head jerked up upon hearing sound come from where he had left. Quickly, he cleared away the rements of his tears, and, with one last look to his master's grave, sheathed his sword and rose to head back.
Once there, he was caught by the sight of two men, whom he didn't know, conversing with Fierya and Vincent.
"Hello, gentlemen." He said, walking into the clearing. He forced his voice to be strong and composed. He glanced at Fierya. "I'm glad to see your leg is doing well." He gave her a quick smile. "I suppose that there is a reason why were are all gathered here." Aelus said, going to stand by Fierya; his body-guard like instincts were kicking back in. "And I am presuming that it is because we are all elementalists. Am I wrong?"

Fierya's heart skipped another beat when Aelus appeared, still seeming like something was wrong. She would talk to him later, in private. She smiled, and nodded. "All thanks to you. It feels great, just a little stiff." She informed him.
