Today is my last full day!!! I have my Philosophy and Biology finals tomorrow and then Math and Chemistry on Friday... urgh.

Awesome. Like you said, freedom is amazing.

Right now we're busy redoing my little sister's room, which has been fun. We've been painting a lot, and we're just wrapping it up. Other than that, I've been frantically packing... I leave on Sunday for Costa Rica for a service trip!! I'm SOOOOOO excited. I can't actually believe it's happening.... and I'm definately screwed with knowing Spanish. I'll be living with a host family that speaks only Spanish, so that should be interesting. I've been taking it for years now and think I can understand what people are saying to me, but speaking back is a whole different thing.... But yeah I can't wait!!!!

Other than the normal here... I did some work for a local guy who does auctions. We helped re-arange all his stuff for the auction. Made 165 bucks in 3 days though, so I was happy about that.

Oh... and my mom's store flooded in the back so we are having to sort through all that junk and get new boxes becayuse the wet ones are falling appart... and we had to fix the foundation in the back where the water leeked through and we had to fix the roof.... lol yeah

Other than that it's all normal. Well, see you guys later. 8waves*

Oh very nice about the auction, Jax. And sorting through stuff... should be interesting.

Well I just wanted to get on and say goodbye!!! I might be able to come on and say hi when we're in San Jose, but other than that I won't have internet access at all. I'll be back on the 18th or 19th, depending on flight times.

I'm so excited though!! I have to get to the airport at nine tonight, and our flight leaves at midnight...

I am going to go help with the lat 2 weeks of church camp. I missed the first two because the guy who was suposed to send us the info on when it was didn't get it to us.

But they need more help for the last two weeks so me and my sister are going to go help them out.

Well, I am finally back from camp! It was a really fun two wweeks with verry little sleep! lol then the day after I got back we had this huge fundraiser thing for the museum here in our town (which my family was incharge of running)


So yeah... it's been pretty busy with little sleep but fun.

How have things been going for you guys? I guess arwen isn't back yet.

i'm teaching myself as of friday, but i might take some lessons....
idk, havent decided yet. kinda depends on the cost and stuff.
but either way, i'm uber excited!
my fingers hurt like no other, but i figure it's worth it.

Sweet! Guitar is like the funnest instrument in the world! (of course I am partial to guiatrs... )

Taking lessons would be a good idea if you want to become realy good at it though. Looking back now, I wish I would have started lessons much earlier.

i can totally understand that. the problem is, once school starts, i don't know if i'll have time.....i don't know, i feel like i could prob teach myself well enough, but i'm always open to lessons. i taught myself piano, and i've found it to have been much harder so....idk.

i love E minor! haha yay simplicity!!! D major is giving me fits though, cuz the strings just slice my fingers. but whatever, i'm workin to fix it.

Yeah, school I am sure would take much of your time. ... and I guess that would take priority.

You can teach yourself alot on guitar, it's true... but there are tons of things that you would never even know egsist... so thus can't teach yourself. Like some of the bends, the scales and fingering are some of the simplistic things. You get hier levels and you get into all the hammers and tapping, finger picking.... harmonics and.... just so much stuff. I don't even know the half of it and I know I never would have got this far if it weren't for my lessons.. at least not in such a short time.

lol yeah... E minor is pretty simple. The smaller strings can cut on your fingers some, but you just have to get used to it. When I first started playing I had blue fingertips because they were bruised from playing... and I was playing a clasicle guitar... lol


Things here have been pretty busy actually. After camp we had a musuem fundraiser, then we sang for the 4th celebration and had our cuosins over, ha a picknick in our pasture... been working some, planing on doing some fencing today... and some other stuff... so it's been busy but good.

oh, not much.
summer gym, which i hate, cuz i suck at sports, but whatever.
other than that, just hanging out, doing music and writing and stuff.

and yea, idk if i'd go that for with guitar, just because piano and singing are more my thing....especially piano. i think i'll mainly use guitar to write.
