"No.." Chase answered as if he was explaining a todler that 1 and 1 is not 3. "If the tumors come back then we at least know it's a symptom. Not something she has done to herself. We could rule that out though through an easy bloodtest. "

Foreman followed Virgina, Cameron and Chase out of House's office. "Well...first of all we have to see how she is now." He looked at his watch. "I think her operation will be finished in two or three hours and then..."

He was imediately interrupted by Abigail who ran up to the doctors. She looked at them in shock, trying to read from their faces which news they had on how Cecile was doing. "Please...please tell me...how...how is Cecile? How..." Foreman looked at her. "Please, Mrs. Baker. I told you to lay down...come..."

Abigail went away from him and looked at the two other doctors and the young intern. "Please...how is she doing? Where is she? Can...can I go to her? Please...please...tell me...what does she have? Tell me the truth. Will...will she...die?"

Abigail got pale and stumbled back, still staring at the young intern. She shook her head. "No...no...I...I love her...I didn't know what to do...I..." She stumbled back more and finally fell back on one of the benches. She put her head down and hid it in her hands. "God...no...please...I didn't want to do this. I...this...this isn't my fault...I never wanted to harm her...I...I did everything wrong..." she bit her lip. "I know there's no excuse for what I have done. I have killed my own daughter. I...have...killed her..." She looked back at the woman. "Save her...please...save her. I will leave. I have to. I can never look into her eyes anymore, knowing it had been my fault."

Chase looked in anger at Virginia. "That's enough" he said and he took Virginia's arm to drag her out of the reach of the woman, entered a empty room to keep Mrs Baker from hearing the scene.
"Who do you think you are?" he called out. "Being the niece of House doesn't give you the right to judge or condemn others. To preach them a lesson on parenting. One day as an intern and your way out of line."

Cameron threw Virginia a look and helped Mrs Baker onto the bench. "Foreman, give her some seditive, now." she ordered. It would be better to have her sleep for a while than having a hysteric woman to care for when they needed to save a life.

Foreman nodded and helped Mrs. Baker up to go with her back into the room they had been before. "You need to lay down a bit now." he said while he prepared her for the IV. "I will give you something so you can sleep a bit."

Abigail only nodded and stared blankly down on the sheets. She felt more and more tired while the sedative ran into her system. "Please...doctor...care for my daughter...will she...will she be alright again?"

Foreman sighed. "Mrs. Baker...I promise we will do anything we can do to help her. We will find out what she has." He watched the woman sleeping away, then he left the room to go back to Cameron. "She is sleeping now." he looked at his watch again. "I think Ceciles operation will be over soon. When she wakes up again, we will see how she is developing."
