((Well... I'm here... I'm trying to find out what is going on, at the moment. I haven't a clue where Tur is. I've PMed her multiple times, but she hasn't responded yet.))

Elenriel of Mirkwood wrote: Callisto felt the message almost as soon as Minna sent it-not surprising since she was only a few feet from her. "Well I can feel it..." she said quietly. "If the others are not too far, they should start to feel it soon" she replied.
Minna smiled from her position, unable to reply.
Her message continued to flow and for a moment, she saw in her mind the village as it used to be, busy and full of happy people.

Callisto continued to scan the woods. If her fellow elementals were near, they would be bound to feel the message soon. Perhaps it was the power from the message or just the longing within her own heart that for the briefest moments she saw their village-alive and well as it had once been. She saw their kindred flocking down the streets, smiles on their faces as they went about their business. She saw her family-her mother's radiant smile, heard her father's rich voice and saw her brother's impish grin, and for a moment she felt at peace. Then all too soon the images faded and she was once again reminded of the pain that was their reality. Everything that they had ever loved was gone, and her heart was once more filled with a terrible grief-a grief that always seemed to return greater than before.

[ Should we then perhaps wait for her? ]

((Alright. After a rather rude interuption, I'm back and trying to understand what has happened in my absense. Let me get this straight: Will and Eruraina's characters are about to leave under a disguise spell to do... ???, Nienna's and Elenriel's characters are still apart from everyone else? And sending a message... Alright... Well, I'll do what I can to get y'all in. ))
Aelus' head jerked up suddenly. His brow furrowed. He could sense some sort of a message - almost a vision. As if their village was alive and well again. Master Jayro teaching the young ones about herbs, the farmers talking as they hoed their fields. The young women going for water and putting laundry out to dry... Aelus had to hold his breath for a moment. Somehow, he knew it wasn't real, but it looked so real it hurt. After it wore off, a kind of calling or message lingered behind. He inturpreted it with out much trouble.
Elementals.
With strong grace, he rose from his seat beside Fierya, and went over to the edge of their 'camp'. Looking out over the wooded horizon, Aelus shifted into his black wolf form, and headed out to find the source of the call.

((Well, this is just a random idea, but it could work: Perhaps a power-hungry elemental separated from the rest and, determined to be the only elemental power in existence, attempted to wipe out the rest of the elementals.
...
Just an idea.))

[I actually like that idea SG-perhaps an elemental that has become more powerful over the years of isolation. But I'll wait to see what everyone else thinks]

((Works for me! I was thinking that maybe, after years of training/practice and a bit of luck with magic, he/she had gained control (maybe not complete control, but control) over all of the elements, making them an even more formidable foe.))

[ Sounds good.. but what about these monster-thingies which destroyed the village? What are they? ]

[SG-I think you must have read my mind as I was thinking something along those lines as well. That would give us a reason for our characters to need the help of the non-elemental characters (speaking of which I should start to bring my mage back into the story soon...)
Will, maybe they could be the elemental's servants/minions that he/she created or something like that?]

((Hmm... Well, say that the elemental moved into the land where those beings lived. When they attempted to attack him/her, he/she used his/her elemental powers to protect him/herself. Because of the amazing power he/she displayed, these creatures (who are not overly bright beings) revered him/her as a god, and devoted themselves to him/her. Like I said, just another random idea I had.))
