Post subject: TT and Faramir's Post-Wedding Reception -come after wedding!  Posted: June 10th, 2008, 4:04 pm |

The White City stands stark against the rising morning sun. From a distance everything seems quiet, but as you get nearer to the gates a loud bustle can be heard. humming with the voices of visitors from all over Middle-earth and elsewhere. The grand, intricately carved gates are open to the first group of visitors already pushing their way into the courtyard. Young and old have gathered. Nearby two older ladies can be heard above the noise whispering:
"the steward is marrying."
"who?"
"a girl not from Middle-earth."
"where is she from?"
"ah, there's her father there. Look at the way he dresses."
the elder points at a man wearing a white wig, dressed very finely, jogging up some stairs. They continue whispering as the crowd pushes forward.
far, far above this crowd the bride and her family have gathered in a room in the royal home. Here the special guests are going to be sent to first see the bride and groom and to give their well-wishes. And they are all invited to stay in special apartments King Aragorn graciously appointed for them in honor of the week.
back down at the gates stand two smartly dressed men. These are the men who will escort these previously mentioned special guests through the winding streets and crowds up to the rooms the rest of the family and guests occupy. Ask them where you'd like to go and who you are and they'll take you there.
<center>TT and Faramir's wedding shall be held ontop of Minas Tirith by the White Tree (in full bloom) Friday June 13th, 2008 at 7:00 PM EST.

TT stood hand and han with Faramir. They both gazed out the window. "Just think", TT said, as she squeezed Faramir's hand. "In a few days, we'll be married!"

(It's no problem, TT. I had fun typing it up.  and I'm happy you like it.)
PD moved over to comfort her father and mother. "This day has come up so completely unexpected," she hugged her mother and father, trying to offer them some sort of comfort when she herself wished Cutler would return to give HER some comfort. "They'll be so happy together though. Just look at them." she glanced over at the sweet couple holding hands by the window. She couldn't help but let a small sigh slip out, "it seems like it was just yesterday when Cutler showed her how to ride her first pony and now she's going to be so far away. And with Lothy engaged too..." she trailed off into her own thoughts.

TT turned and walked over to her mother and grandmother. "Oh, you two!", she said hugging them both. "You act as if I'm still a baby in diapers", she smiled at Aerlin. Turning back she said, "Thank you for coming though... I am rather nervous, an it's nice to have you all here." TT walked towards Aerlin and her fiance and laughed. "Will you sing later?"

Lothy bounced in, dragging her fiance, Ianto, along after her. "Poor Yan" she though, he was still staring in awe at everything around him, this being his first visit to Middle Earth.
"TT!" (*Cough* Megily *CoughCough*) She called, rushing over to hug her sister from behind, Squee-ing like a crazed fan-girl. "It's soooooo great to see you! This is going to be totally awesome dude! By the way, this is my Fiance, Ianto Jones" She continued, introducing her sister to her smart, dark-haired, handsom man for the first time. "Yan, this is TT, my sister and the blushing bride." She beamed.
"How d'ya do." Ianto said formally, in his cheeky Welsh accent.

Before she knew what was happening, TT was engulfed in an embrace from her sister. "Lothy!", she squeed. "Thanks for coming!" She smiled brightly at her sisters fiance. "It's a pleasure to meet you." She paused, befor abandoning all formality and hugging her soon-to-be brother in law. "Faramir", she called at. "Come here and meet these people", she pulled him close to her. "This is my sister, Lothy, and her fiance Ianto". Faramir made a slight bow.
TT moved towards Aerlin. She watched with a half amused half confused expression on her face as Aer and her fiance exchanged words. "Oh, really?", she said when the question was directed at her. "You really didn't have to."

Cutler came in right after is youngest daughter, Lothy, and her fiancé. He moved out of the way and watched as his two daughters embraced each other. At that moment he noticed JF, Norrington, and his own wife, PD standing a little ways off in the corner. He shifted through the crowd and put a comforting hand on his wife's shoulder. "I can't believe it," she whispered to him, "she's going to be off on her own tonight." Cutler thought this over before answering with, "and I still need to talk to Faramir. Just some father-son time." he glanced down at PD, she gave him a worried look, "go easy on him, Cutler," she whispered before breaking off and going up to TT and Aerlinn.

Larael poked her head around the entrance hall's door, and turned to look back at Severus who looked rather uncomfortable in the Elven-style garb his wife had forced him to wear. "Please, Sev, put a smile on for goodness sake! You're not going to a funeral you know," Larael said smoothing down her gown and reaching out to straighten the tassle on Snape's shirt. "I know," he replied, "It's just we haven't been to one of these in so long, and I don't know why we couldn't wear our usual robes." Larael made a tsking noise and slipped her arm through his. " Because it wouldn't be right dear. We can't run around Middle-Earth in wizard clothes," she stated matter-of-factly, "Now let's go."
The two walked through the doors and into the hall which was already crowded with guests. "Did you remember the gift?" Larael whispered. "Yes, don't worry. I can do some things right you know," Severus replied giving his wife an exasperated sigh followed by a discreet smile. He pulled the wrapped gift out and handed it to Larael. "Thank goodness for that."
[Yayay! Party, party, party! Sev and I are ready to break out the dance moves. We've been working on our waltzing. *le nod*  ]

"Aw, that's so sweet of you!", TT said to Aer, as she took the gift. "Did you wrap it, Aer? It's very nice. I can't wrap things... at all".
TT glanced up as her mother approached. "Is everything alright?", she asked. Her gaze fell on her father and immediatly she knew what was happening. "Faramir, darling?", she whispered. "Go speak to daddy. Please?". She smiled at him. "But come back soon... only 2 hours left!!", she squeezed his hand, before letting him go over to speak to her father.
TT noticed Lar. "Oh! I'm so happy you could come!". She hugged her. "And, Severus", she added with a smile. "You look wonderful in the elven dress." TT lead the couple over the the group already gathered there.

PD watched as Faramir made his slow approach to Cutler. She rolled her eyes. 'it will go fine,' she told herself before directing her attention back to her daughter and the guests. PD smiled and waved at EC and Lar. She giggled at the site of Snap. "Oh, and TT, dear," she whispered to her daughter, "it's almost time to get ready. Come, I'll help you put on your gown." she took her daughter by the hand and bayed farewell to the others. "Just make your way outside by the White Tree, everyone. Follow Cutler. Oh, and Faramir, dear, you need to get ready too." she hurried TT away.

"TT!" Larael cried as she was enveloped in a warm hug. "You look lovely my dear. Like an angel." She stepped aside and motioned her husband forward. "We've brought you and Faramir a gift. It's nothing too special, but we thought it'd be good to get you something at least." Larael handed TT the wrapped parcel as Severus awkwardly adjusted his Elven robe.
[Aww, Sevy, you are an awkward thing. He's much too used to swooping about in his black robes. ]

"Oh oh!" Lothy called after the two, "Wait for me! Ianto." She said, quickly whipping around, "Stay and mingle, meet the family, ect ect." With that she ran, dignified of course, after her mother and sister to get into her bridesmaid dress.

Kit appeared just then, heaving large gulps of air.
"The---" she began, before trying to catch her breath. "I mean----"
She bent over, palms on her knees and gasped.
"There are way too many stairs to this place." Kit finally gave out. "Now. I need a seat."
