Any excuse for the kiss of life dearie and I am THERE! XD
But it's such a suprise to see you even in this area (although I notice you do pop in every now and then to vote and such things... don't think I'm not watching) but to actually join?! Holy mackerels-on-toast that is unheard of!
Hahah, I actually took that line from The Lion King where Pumba says "gravel" instead of "grovel". The quarry bit was all my own though.
Ooooooh. *ish jealous* What's sad is 4 months after I got me 7.2 camera, they had an 8.2 for even less than we paid for mine.
That was kinda depressing, and as mine is only 7 months old, I won't get a new one for a long time I think. Ah, well. At least its better than my *beep* 5.5 anyway.
Ooh, I would love an old camera.
They just look cooler.
Truuuuuuuuue...if it were either of those two gentlemen, I'd deliberatley put myself in a position to ... uhh ... errr ... receive the kiss of life.
Ha ha ha ha...well, I'm always sort of ...
lurking 'round these parts.

And when I do post it's just because I absolutely can't help myself.

But my lurking ish being
stalked be teh JFishness??

And yeah, I suppose my sudden joining of one might come as a wee surprise. HA HA HA HA! To be honest, it was a spur of the moment decision.

I was uploading pictures from the weekend and came across what is the result of teh MB being bored in a car, waiting out a snow storm and waiting for some cowboys to ride up with some horses. I remembered your contest (hence my "lurking") and decided to post one of my photos.
OHHHH the LION KING!! *loves* Man, I need to have a Disney movie marathon. XD Well that quarry bit was completely hysterical, so count yourself as a comic genius.
AWWW. That's so sad about your camera! But that always happens, doesn't it? (There was something in the NY Times this morning about a NEW iPhone that's got lots of new stuff AND is cheaper *shakes head*) Curse technology and capitalism.

Bad combo.

And old school film cameras are just amazing. I find something exciting about waiting for my film to develop.

And I feel much more productive 'cause if you don't want to waste your film you have to actually think about your picture.
