Well, I don't think it would be the smartest thing to spray her blood in his face. He might freak out a little bit. That was another thing, I was surprised that James didn't even react when her hand started bleeding. Edward showed more a reaction than James did.

yeah, he would freak out, but i bet he would be sufficiently distracted for a few seconds, anyway.
edward probably showed more of a reaction because he cares so much for her safety. i'm guessing, anyway....

i've recently discovered that the more obsessed i get with twilight, the more i am distracted from the fact that my guy friend/crush is going back out with his ex-girlfriend. which is healthy, for me.....i think....

June 2008 Update: In response to the outrageous number of emails that I have received with questions concerning Midnight Sun, I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun.

It seems really good, though Edward isn't exactly like I imagined him.
I'm sure it'll be amazing, though I'll probably be complaining throughout the movie about the tiny changes they made from the book....teehee.
