Estel grinned, and jogged out the door. The cold hit her hard, and she shuttered. Winter was not her favorite season. Her breath come out like little gray puffs in the air. The snow beneath her feet crunched against her weight as she jogged to the house. Opening the door, she hurried inside, and scurried to the fire.
"Hey boys, theres a load of food at Deawen's. If you still have room, come on over and eat!"
She went closer to the fire, shivering. She hated winter.

Morwen put the pan of potatoes on the coals to keep warm and went back to the window. (I thought it was early spring!)

I got up and whent with estle, i was unconfortable umong people that i didnt know so well, and the thought of home cooked food was the best thing i had thought about in a long time

Morwen turned from the window. Going to the pan, she flicked a peice of bacon at Deawen. It hit her square in the head, causing Arenel to jump on her in persuit of the salty, greasy morsel. Morwen started to crack up. "Good dog!"

"You're not fitting in, are you?" she asked quietly, getting warmed by the fire.
"I have gotten alot of memories back. I never fit in either."
she stared into the fire blankly, watching its flames dance.

the question is what is fitting in? does anyone every 'fit in' or is that a term that someone made up once to exclude others that they did not want to be with? I never fit in even before i was...... changed.... and i found that the best people, the most loayl people, are the ones who can be themselvs and dont have to conform so that they can 'fit in' they are the true people they are not afraid to be themselves. i hesitated, i didnt uassaly talk so much i wasnt sure how she would react, she was staring at the fire

she looked away again, looking out the window at the cold, lifeless word. It was so beautiful... yet so cruel...

She stared at him, and then smiled slowly.
"People who are true to themselves."
she said sneeringly.
"I wish i could be true to myself. My job wont allow it. I want to be free... but they wont let me go easily... and i wont let my job go either. I admire the thrill... and thrive on it. But as long as I keep it up.. I cant be true to myself."
