Royal Ascot
Duuuudes, I'm officially in love with fashion writer James Sherwood  (Ok, so I was in love with him last year  ) He speaks really posh, and yet he's not snooty, he loves Saville Row bespoke tailors and he REALLY says what he thinks about what people are wearing, which is great! It's so nice to hear someone not being PC.  The best quote EVER was when someone was wearing a dress from he hippy days and he said "I wish my sex life was as busy".  That made my day. Poor, lonely James.  Aww, and his hand shakes something awful when he's first on live, even though he sounds so confident. Way above my station though I think. 
I've also fell in love with Aiden O'Brien, a really successful horse trainer, and unlike most trainers who dance around the place and are loud when their horse wins, he's a quietly spoken man, and he ALWAYS goes straight on his mobile phone when a horse wins, even when all his family are there. I think it's a nervous thing he's got, but it's also a really good reason for taking yourself off for a few minutes without people trying to shove a mike up your nose and ask for interviews. 
So I squee for two people a day, and there's still three more days to go! 
[for anyone who doesn't know Royal Ascot is THE horsing event of the year, and people dress well or should dress well and follow the dress code, no strapless dresses and streaky tans in the best enclosures, thank you very much]

Okay, that was a pretty lame episode.  Though I suppose watching it with Japanese subtitles on YouTube probably wasn't the best idea. _________________

@JF: I just love the way you talk about shows like that. XD
@Shadow: HA HA HA. True, it wasn't the best. BUT, I agree, RTD shouldn't being denying teh Gwen/Gwennyth relation. XD
SO, I've decided to get caught up on the Tudors. But after the last episode that I watched, I'm not sure I can. As the reason that I STARTED watching the show was just killed. *WAILS* But to be honest, I KNEW this season wasn't going to end well for him. I just didn't want to be until the END of the season.  Oh god. I'm so depressed now.

"The Tudors - 2x05"  Hands down the best episode of both seasons. About halfway through it, I realized it was THE episode. Jeremey Northam is my most gorgeous hero. I love that man! OH such an emotionally powerful episode.  I was full on weeping and a complete emotional wreck during the last 10 minutes. And when the executioner asked for his blessing...oh I pretty much lost it. ARGH! WHY did Mr. Northam have to choose THIS role?? BAH! I never ever want to see that man die. Ever again. He's too gorgeous and absolutely amazing to die. BAH!
And Sir Thomas More is now my hero. HMMM...I should read Utopia again.
DAMN HENRY VIII!!! I was SO pissed off at him. And really glad at his reaction at the end. *beep*! [/rant]

So, I was sorting through some old DVDs, and there was this show playing on SciFi, which I was sort of half watching. And I was laughing at it, because it had all these WWII people running around fighting some kind of monster/alien thing. So I was saying to my mom, This is ridiculous.
... And then I realized that's essentially what Torchwood is. So then I felt bad and tried to watch the show, but it had depressingly bad acting and the Eye Candy died... or something... and I didn't get it anyway.
So that is my story about watching TV. _________________

Anyway, watched the new "Ghosthunters - Fort Delaware".
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. I love big places like that. AWESOMENESS.
The thermal image!!!! Holy crapola! INTENSE!
And then the cannon sound! I couldn't really tell what it sounded like until they showed the version of it caught outside. And DAMN. It DID sound like cannon fire!
