Anyone out there Terry Brooks fans? What about Elaine Cunningham? Here's an old one, K.A. Applegate?

I love Terry Brooks' books. My favorite was the Voyage of Jerle Shannara series. I've yet to read his newest book Straken, but I will as soon as my library gets it.
The only Elaine Cunningham book I've read was Dark Journey and that was because it was a Star Wars novel. She's a good writer from what I saw with the one I read.

I haven't read the first one yet because I have this problem where I have to have all the books in the series (his at least) before I read it so I don't have to wait forever to know what's going to happen.
I suggest Elaine Cunningham's Songs and Swords series. They're really good.

I started to read Terry Brook's Shannara Sword I believe, but I never got the chance to finish it, i'm hoping to do that soon. But while I was reading it was a good book.

OOw yes, I've read his books. In dutch als so they are not as good as in english, but they are really great. The only thing was that it was a little to much like lotr, so I was a little disappointed about that. But they are really cool!!!

yep, on Wishsong of Shannara my second book in the series. some repetition of the plot that I don't like from Sword
I used to read Animorphs by Applegate. elementary school reading level but it's amusing and the plot's involving. I still read them sometimes when I'm bored and in for a good laugh.

Oh, I LOVE Terry Brooks! The Sword of Shannara series was amazing, and as soon as my stupid school gets the sequel to Ilse Witch, I'm gonna be the first to get it. ^_^ And I do agree with Lhunardaien, it was a bit LotR-ish. But considering that it was, yet not, (after all, after reading anything by Tolkien, I find that I write alot of that sort of plot in my own stories as well; it's difficult to catch myself) But I suppose I can easily forgive, what with the beautiful telling of a wonderful story.

Yeah I remember going Allanon=Gandalf and Aragorn; Shea, Flick, Menion(love)=hobbits; Hendel=Gimli; Dayel, I can't remember his brother's name=Legolas; I can't remember the man's name=Boromir. Ah! Can't remember anyone's name! I fell in love with every Leah (by the way, do you pronounce it Le-ah, or Lee?) and Tay Treffenwyd*tear*
