Johnny's Fan wrote: @ Monty - SQUEE! Jack Davenport!!! OOoh, yes he should do audio books. I would buy them no matter what. I posted this the other day with muchos Ascot info and piccies. Ok, so Aidan's not absolutely gorgeously handsome, but there's just something about how he is, that makes me want to squiggle hug him. Johnny's Fan wrote: Royal Ascot
I do love watching my posh horse racing. Even though I am not girly, I love seeing how well (or in most cases how bad) people dress, and having James commenting on them all is the cucumber on the posh sandwich. He really is my hero for being outspoken about things. And the whole list of do's and dont's for Ascot is amazing. The cardianal sin is taking ones shoes off no matter how much your feet are killing you. The list is <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/other_sports/horse_racing/7456280.stm" target="_blank">here</a> if anyone wants some culture. XD
And yay for my second (and even bigger) SQUEE of the day, Aidan O' Brien for being the trainer of a horse (called Yeats after the Irish poet) for only the second time in Ascot history, to have won the Gold Cup three years in a row. And at, 7 for being the oldest horse ever to have won. That was an amazing race, and it was so nice to see Aidan smiling and looking almost comfortable (I think he is very shy actually).
Ah, 'twas a good day, what with <a href="http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://bp0.blogger.com/_lzjPmEhGIYE/RbIiHjaywNI/AAAAAAAAAIc/39DElz7FCis/s320/IMG_74171_7.jpg&imgrefurl=http://contessanally.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html&h=320&w=213&sz=23&hl=en&start=1&um=1&tbnid=zUkq1YNjREohtM:&tbnh=118&tbnw=79&prev=/images%3Fq%3Djames%2Bsherwood%2Bascot%26imgsz%3Dsmall%257Cmedium%257Clarge%257Cxlarge%26ndsp%3D20%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4GGLJ_enGB268GB269%26sa%3DN" target="_blank">James</a> and <a href="http://parisparfait.typepad.com/paris_parfait/images/2007/08/29/horse_trainer_aidan_obrien.jpg" target="_blank">Aidan</a>.
Dude. I kind of forgot about that post. So is the Ascot like that thing in My Fair Lady? And that Aidan fellow looks lovely. If a wee bit annoyed and confuzzled at the same time.
ANYWAY.

The entire fourth season of "Doctor Who" except "Turn Left".
While I'll admit that Donna is a huge improvement over Martha, I'm just kind of "meh" about this whole season. It's had a few good bits (The Doctor's "Are you my Mummy?" line), and Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead were for the most part brilliant. Overall though, it just felt to... blah.

Johnny's Fan wrote: Lol, yes I suppose it is. I know James would die and go to heaven if people dressed like that nowadays. LOL! He ALWAYS uses a phone when he's watching a race and afterwards, and the BBC presenter got hold of him yesterday and asked who he called, and he said his boss (the owner) always talks to him via the phone when the race is on and afterwards he always phones his parents. He really is such a quiet and gentle man. I don't think he's 100% confident with talking to the TV people though. If you go <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/other_sports/horse_racing/7464315.stm" target="_blank">here</a> you'll see him talking. (You might need to click the international button to be able to see him).
Well, I'm going to imagine that it is like that thing in My Fair Lady. And I'll agree with James, that DUDE, we should dress like that more often.
"MOVE YOUR BLOOMIN' ARSE!"
And he really does seem like a quiet kind of guy. AWW. But, GAH! Teh video ish not working. Not even the international button. BAAH. Ha ha ha!
Anyway, just watched "Doctor Who Confidential - Here Come The Girls!"
What is this about RTD wanting to BLOW UP THE TARDIS??? NOO! Absolutely not! I won't allow it! Screw the Doctor, I want the TARDIS all safe and sound. SO, now I'm really worried because RTD mentioned something about more ... errr ... explosions around teh TARDIS.
And Catherine Tate can't drive?? Whoa! That's kind of funny and really neat at the same time. Now I feel special since she said all those who can drive are brilliant. XD

The last four episodes of seasdon four of The Office. Finally. Ach. I love this show far too much. Also, I'd really like to shag Jim.
