"Okay," Kathryn replied with a slight smile as she stepped up to the door. Using the outside of his jacket, she began to brush away the dust from the door. This time a creature, which she took to represent some sort of demon, bearing its fangs at the person in the middle was uncovered. Under the flickering light of the torch, she continued to brush away the dust from the door and uncovered more strange text.

Matt had followed Larain, watching her walk decidedly to a bookshelve and taking a red book out. "So.. the bookcase should like..open?" he asked with some healthy scepsism. When nothing happened he grinned. "Well it always looks so easy when I see it on tv. Why don't you try putting it back on the shelve?"

(It's alright, Will! I know what it's like to be sick! It's nothing bad is it? Not the flue or strepp or anything like that? *remembers when I got strepp 3 times in a month about 6 months ago* not fun...)

Don watched with curiosity as more images were uncovered. The demon... it looked vaugely like a minator. Maybe the markings on the door was a warning for something. Or a tale of some hero and king's deeds long ago...

Larain bit her lip for a second, unsure if now she should believe her brother. Maybe Don and Jared had set this whole thing up to make them look stupid. Don was the kind who would pull pranks and stuff of that sort on anybody.

With a shrug, she put the book back in the shelf. For a second it wouldn't go in all the way, but with a good push it did. And something went click. There was a whoosh and the bookcase swung open to reveal the passageway.
"Maybe it's not a joke," she mumbled. "That, or I'm dreaming."

John heard the noise and ran towards it, to find Matt and Larain. Placing out his hands placatingly, he said, "Yeah, we definitely got on the wrong foot there, but I assure you, I want to find out about this as much as you do. Seeing as we all know now that it's real." He didn't want to mention that he found another book. Not the book in question but something that could definitely help them. "So if we could, umm, set aside our differences, we can go.."

(Ok guys.. sorry about the really long wait. I have been distracted with the beginning of summer. From what I can see, I can either sit in watch at the bottom of the library, or I can go and try to break Jacen out. I am not sure which I should do really.)

Kathryn continued to clear away more of the picture. This time she saw what looked to be a multiple-headed creature, that reminded her so much of a Hydra standing next to the minotaur-like one. Finally after brushing away the last of the dust that uncovered more text she finally took a step back to look at the picture. "Maybe some great battle that took place?" she said after a moment. "Although it looks like it could come out of a fairy tale to me" she added.

Kira Marshall strutted with her hands in her pockets back to the main office. Not being able to join the library group sucked, but, even further, having to go back to the place she escaped from sucked even more.

Sighing, Kira decided to make the best of it by imagining the worst possible situation the ones that went to the library could go through.

The fantasy Kira dreamt up was cut short right before Matt fell to his death (possibly a vengeful mark from him pestering Kira too much) because Mrs. Allan was spotted out of the corner of Kira's eye. Kira quickly dove behind a tree and slyly peered out and further expanded her realm of hearing as she watched Mrs. Allan talk to another staff member that appeared to have some importance to them.

They both spoke of Kira, escaping from Mrs. Allen's claws. At this, Kira only smirk and silently shout in triumph. This continued throughout the conversation between the two ladies, and it heighten at the last remark of them both needing to find reinforcements in order to locate Kira. The idea of being so difficult was like being dealt a royal flush in poker to Kira Marshall.

However, Kira soon remembered what she original task was once the women walked off in a direction parallel to the width of the office buildng, and she then took back off, at a much faster and more alert manner, towards the main office in order to find Jacen.

When Jacen finally came to his senses everything was dark...

groggily he tried to figure out what was going on. He soon realised he was blindfolded gagged. Gagged!? How can I be gagged!? I'm in school for crying out loud!
Slowly the past few hours began to come back to him... the headmaster, Mrs. Allan, the man in black... the pain! Jacen had told them everything before the end. No-one should have to withstand that kind of punishment. The dream, the book, Kira, Matt, Larain... everything. He knew they were being hunted now and it was all his fault. Why are they doing this? The thought was hopeless, desperate and vain.
Then Jacen realised he wasn't alone in the room, wherever this room was. He figured it had to be near the headmaster's office. Jerking his head upward he tried to cry out for help but could do little but mumble behind the bitter tasting gag.
'Shut your mouth boy before I shut it for you!' A rough voice croaked from the other side of the room. Footsteps indicated the man might of decided to come good with his promise already... Jacen felt a rough hand pull at his scalp, jerkin his head right back.
'Count yourself lucky you're still alive boy... the master has special plans for you... you and your friends. Oh don't worry, they'll be in safe hands soon enough and you'll all be back together where you belong.' The guttural laugh sent shivers down Jacen's back.

I have to get out of here...

Kira kicked spot after spot against the wall to try and find a hollow shell that she could break into. This place was a fortress, and Kira was surpised enough that they did not just add the bars on the windows and doors as a final touch. "Or maybe they did?" she thought, peering up out of completely curioustly to see if there were any bars on the window.

"&%)$", she cursed, as she came landing back down upon the floor of the earth. Someone inside that looked at a level of student had noticied her head pop up in the window, and, from her escape earlier, had probably recognized her. She ran, knowing very too well her ignorance was probably going to cost her freedom.
