aw, thanks. i love tintin. I used to watch it as a kid and recently discovered some clips on youtube and that PJ is directing one of the three films and Andy Serkis might be playing Captain Haddock and.. oh i can go on and on. and sticking to X-men, I think Anna Paquin also did a great job. Will she/Rouge be included in this movie though?

I have to be honest, I'm somewhat concerned they're putting Gambit in a Wolverine Prequel movie. The only thing I can think of is, his connection to Sabretooth and New Orleans is one of the locations. So I'm trying to be positive, but it's difficult.
It's a minor niggle, I'm sure Gavin Hood knows what he's doing.
I have to say as well though, on the subject of the X-Men movies. Anna Paquin, while acted very well. It wasn't the Rogue I know and love from the comic. She was far too timid and even after 3 movies seemed to be afraid to use her powers, even for good. But, like I say, not Anna's fault. She didn't write the part like that, she acted the way they wanted her to portray Rogue.
As far as I know, Anna is not signed on for the Wolverine movie.

Ann didn't really do anything for me... I loved her in Fly Away Home, but she just didn't seem to fit for Rogue. I've never read the comics, but Rogue just seemed to be... more outgoing. Less timid as you said Phoe. She has an amazing power, and she never really used it... i mean the Magneto inicdent must have traumatized her... but.

Rogue is very much, more outgoing. The movie Rogue is very innocent and naive. She hasn't seen the darker side of life thanks to her adoptive mother Mystique, so she's still this uncorrupted soul. Anna acted her well, according to there script. But Rogue as a character deserved so much more in all three movies.

I think Anna played the part well with what she was given. She didn't make Rogue timid, the scriptwriters/director did.

Apparently the person who played Keamy in LOST...Kevin Durand I think is his name, is going to play The Blob in the movie.

^Ooh, thanks for finding those, Phoenix! And for the Blob-related info, Bala.
(Except I can't think of the Blob anymore without seeing a guy with all this excess skin hanging off of him...because the last comic I read with Blob in it was Generation X, in which he was depowered. )

So? Phoenix, I know you've seen it...what did you think of it? I'm hoping to see it in the next couple of days, but as is my way, I already read the whole summary on Wikipedia. What did you think of it?

I absolutely loved it. Truly.
The entire cast was fab, but a few notable stand outs for me.
Liev was incredible. He knocked it out of the park. Really menacing, sadistic and intense.
Lynn Collins had wonderful chemistry with Hugh and the romance between Logan and Kayla was believable and very sweet.
Daniel Henney was great in his role as Agent Zero. I could watch him shoot guns all day long and not get bored. Sure it helps that he's absolutely beautiful
Taylor Kitsch nailed Gambit. I wasn't ever a huge fan of Gambit, even going through a spell of really disliking the character hugely. But TK has made me a convert. His opening line to Logan is sheer class lol.
will.i.am was surprisinly good as Wraith. He has some great scenes with Hugh and really shines in them. Very likable character.
Kevin Durand was good in his small role as was Dom, in fact Dom in particular shares a very good scene with Liev.
Huge....HUGE shout out to Ryan Reynolds who simply was born to play Wade Wilson. Another small(ish) role, but every word he uttered was just deep fried gold.

[sad] I want to see it, but I also don't really have time in the next week or two.
I'm really glad that they pulled Sabretooth off well, though, because I thought he looked horrible in X-men. >_<

I watched X-Men last night and well, it was some sort of surreal experience watching Tyler in the role. I'd love for Liev to portray the character again, somehow...somewhere. Maybe the Gambit movie if that ever gets made.
Speaking of solo movies. Wade/Deadpool MUST get one. The world needs more Wade.

I want to see Origins just because of Wade. And Wolverine. And Sabretooth. And Cyclops. ^_^

Wade is awesomesauce in it, despite his small role. It's enough to tease for a Deadpool movie...a proper Deadpool movie.
I'm gonna say it now...and it may be controversial but I don't care I mean this sincerely.
Liev's Victor Creed >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Heath's Joker
Yah...I went there.
