Trin nodded and mounted Tal, who hadn't strayed very far from the river. She look very small on the large horse, but she always liked bigger horses, when she was alive. She nugged him into a trot, back towards the town.

Lehcar followed Trin's lead. She mounted Starfire and headed back towards town at a trot. Now where would they find Locien. Well, she hadn't seen a lot of him lately. He stayed out of her business and her out of his. they never had any deep conversations and such. They acknowledged each other but only as someone who was like themselves. She had trouble thinking anybody could have a harder life than she did. Her mother had died when she was young, she had a brother whom she dearly loved but rarely saw. When she went off to war she was treated harshly and was not given as much credit as the men were. She was something in the way; a hinderance. Her father had trained her to be a warrior, but only from her own perspective. She had learned by watching and listening to her father teaching her brother to fight. She had gone off with her brother to war but was not stationed in the same areas at any given time.
She had left to war behind her father's back, and though she was not ashamed of it, she did not want to face her father. Her father grieved for years when he heard she had been killed. He had cursed her name out of love and hatred of her. She had caused him so much pain. She had watched him (though unseen) grieve for her, and watched him finally except she was gone. The day she could not stand being around him anymore was the day he took her locket, tied it onto her mother's horse, and scared the horse into the dense dark forest. She supposed it was a cruel thing to do, but it was his way of letting go. She could not show herself because she was a coward, and she loved him too much to tell him that her brother had also died. Her father assumed he was just traveling around. She was not brave enough.

Von sighed and followed, his mind starting to come up with ideas on how to help the phantoms. First, they needed to figure out who they were and their histories. Maybe that would give them an idea of what needed to be done. Maybe it had something to do with their past, that kept them here...

Chess, the big ghostly stallion, raised his head, snorted and whinnied. Locien got the feeling from his horse that someone was looking for him. For some reason, the stallion, even in life, had been able to tell when someone was looking for Locien or himself. With a sigh, the elf lept onto Chess, and urged him to lead the way to who ever was looking for him. The small hope that sprouted was that it was her... but that hope faded when he realized it was the other two phantoms.
"You were looking for me?" he hissed, the sentence more of a statement than a question...

Celina did not utter another word as she followed Von and Shade from the room. She had lived in the village all of her life, but only knew their presence by the guest of wind that surrounded them when they were around. All her life she could not help but wonder who they were and now she hoped that they would be able to help them. Her mind began racing with how they could learn about the phantoms-especially if the three did not want to trust them.

As they entered town, Trin unmaterialize and pulled her horse to a stopped in front of Locein and Chess. His dark mood seemed to raidiate from him.

"I wanted an opinion," Trinintiea answered, icely, her eyes cold. "If that is alright with you."

"An opinion of what?" Locien said, his voice neither friendly nor hostile. But it did show that he was slightly irritated. "About the group that's going to try and free us? I haven't seen them yet, so I have no opinion. But at least they're trying to help us, though I'm not sure how they can."

"So you think they can help us?" Lehcar asked, very curious about what he thought. She viewed him as older and wiser, but not exactly smarter. She nodded her head slowly, "The group, from when I left, consisted of several people. They all looked determined, though I'm not sure how determined."

Locien thought for a moment.
"Determination is one thing, knowing what they're doing is another. They may or may not be able to do us the service. Persionally, I hope they succeed," he said, his voice a little dry...

Lehcar looked up as a sound of flapping winds grew nearer. A flash of brown made her realize who it was. Hawkbane dove towards her, and she hastily held out her arm. Her arm had a leather covering, made just for him. He screeched, then the eagle swooped down and landed on her arm. She spoke soothingly to him as he eyed the strangers.
