After waking up from a nightmare about the huge cockroach-like-thing that makes people ugly and then kills them, I am watching another Doctor Who episode entitled "Human Nature". But, I have good news! I just practically heard the voice of that big scary spider from the Hobbit, or at least that should be the voice for her.

OH MY GOD.

Spoilers for The Stolen Earth.

I love how Doctor Who is at it's best when it's bludgeoning you into your seat with one hit after another. Just the way I like it.

So. Much. Ianto. Totally the best part of The Stolen Earth.
"No broken bones. Slight loss of dignity. No change there." and "Whoever's done this wants the human race alive. That's a plus." were two of my absolute favorite lines. I've missed his dry humor so much.
AND HOLY CRAP. When he was laughing at the television...
Image
 God I love that man.

When the "message for the human race" came through as "EXTERMINATE" over and over... I got such chills. The Daleks are absolutely the best Doctor Who villain, and that totally made my day.
And the first thing Jack did was kiss Ianto and Gwen. My head just exploded. Like *FWOOM*. XD No matter how much Janto there is, it gets me every time. :swoon:

And this is going to sound pervy, but Luke is REALLY hot. Sarah Jane is just too "AAH! I'm a crying woman, don't hurt me!" for my tastes.

And the look on Rose's face when she said "Do you like my gun?" FANTASTIC. I had forgotten how absolutely badass Rose can be. *Cheers* I'm so glad we get her back, even if it's only for three episodes.

And the Doctor talking Rhino language when they went to that... Shadow Thingy was beyond awesome.

I knew! I knew the bees would be important. Admittedly not that important, but still.
"ARE YOU SAYING BEES ARE ALIENS?"
"Don't be so daft. Not all of them."

Buah. And Donna's grandfather attacking the Dalek with the paintball gun then asking Rose if she wanted to swap. Priceless.

It got a little "eh" when the whole Companions of the Doctor Fanclub started. We did get more super-adorable smiling Ianto though, so it's forgivable. But poor Rose got left out of the "People the Doctor Has Seemingly Abandoned" Club, which was pretty sad.

Oh, and the insane Dalek thing. I totally want that as my pet/best friend/evil henchmen. As much as I hate to say it, it's kind of cute, what with the hysterical laughter and random flailing of it's tentacles. :P

But the number one heartbreaking moment of the night goes to... Gwen with her "I'm going out fighting. Like Owen, Like Tosh" line. She is also absolutely terrifying when she has a machine gun. The Daleks should just run in terror from her mighty roar. :teehee:
If they kill any more of the Torchwood characters off (which I highly doubt) I am going to personally burn down the offices of EVERYONE involved. String them up by their toes and poke them to death with something.

I'm really curious to see how this Rose plotline is resolved. And while all the clues are pointing to Donna, this "most faithful companion" who gets "everlasting death" seems much more likely to be Rose. We shall see.

They shouldn't have released that Tennant is playing the Doctor for the next few seasons still before the end of this one, as it completely ruins the tension created by the cliffhanger regeneration.

Yeah, pretty much timx4 covered most of my points..

I did a small frantic dance when Gwen mentioned Owen, completely threw me off emotionally. Then I got sad, remembering that he died...

The Valiant was destroyed!!! I shouted, "NO!!" at that. The Master's greatest creation, destroyed at the hands of the Daleks. I'm pretty sure he would have been so mad if he ever comes back. But that was some killer visual effects there.

Did anyone just laugh with Harriet Jones' "Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister" and the Dalek responded, "Yes, we know who you are."

Dalek Caan was just hilarious..."I flewwwwwwww" His little sing-song voice.

Speaking of that scene, this is my all time favourite quote from the Doctor: "After all we've been through, after all we've seen, after all we've lost, I only have one thing left to say...BYE!"

Just seeing Rose back was so awesome though. Especially when Donna was like "Why don't you ask her yourself?" And the Rose's Theme began to play and it was so sad..I really wanted to give Rose a hug.

WELL, I'm finally coming here to respond to THE FRAKKING episode.

So, entire post = SPOILERS for "THE STOLEN EARTH"

...

And just a wee warning, this post will most likely be LONG. Ya'll know me, and most of ya'll know THIS episode...so, this is gonna be a *beep* NOVEL. XD

...

I've been meaning to respond earlier, but I just couldn't. :P Work and other things...and my brain being in denile. ;) First of all, I saw the episode pretty much like 20 minutes after it was uploaded on YouTube. Bye the end, I was sort of in a state of paralysis. XD I was just kind of sitting curled up on my couch rocking back and forth trying to breathe properly while tears of happiness streaked down my face staring at my computer. Emotions were all confused and many. :P

So, I wasn't in a proper state to respond just after seeing it, right? WELL, that night I watched it probably another 4 times. IN A ROW. My brain seemed unable to cope with what happened and was in denile. YEAAAAAHHH...a bit hard to wrap my brain around everything. And then, I think I've watched it once every day since Sunday. Really meaning to just refresh myself of what happened so I could respond properly...but then I'd be so distracted and distraught by the end that I'd be incapable of writing a proper response. :duh:

So my thoughts?

BEST FRAKKING EPISODE TO DATE.

Pretty much. Yeah. :bones:

First and foremost, can I just say that I am SO glad that it is Donna who is the companion to ... I dunno ... meet and reintroduce so to speak, Rose?? You know what I'm saying? There's just something about Donna that makes me so happy that she's the one to say, "Why don't you ask her yourself?" *SQUEEE* And pretty much, she just seems to genuinley CARE about the relationship between the Doctor and Rose. I mean, considering she was brought on board the damned TARDIS JUST after....you know what. ANYWAY, I'm just gushing about how much I ADORE Donna. And how much I think she and Rose are like the greatest EVER. GAAAAAAAAAAAH. :P

Okay. Moving on.

The whole Earth being moved was AWESOME. Like, OOPS! Teh Earth ish GOOONE. XD BUT, one question. And as Caunion ALWAYS likes to point out to me, ONLY I would poke holes in Doctor Who theory. WHERE'S THE MOON??? Seriously, they talked about the Earth being moved like it's no big deal. And if you think about it...moving that planet, ehhh...not so big. And if you FORGOT the moon, do you not understand the havoc it would wreak upon the Earth's environment? :P So, you have to imagine that they (and by "they" I mean RTD and teh Daleks XD) wouldn't be so stupid and would INCLUDE the moon. But including something IN THE ORBIT of a planet....DUDE. In the words of the Doctor, "FEARSOME TECHNOLOGY." :swoon:

:P Sorry...I'm a nerd and look too far into things. XD

Don't even get me STARTED on the UN's "edicts" telling the citizens to not panick. WHATEVER. And Geneva??? DUDE, what is this Geneva being talked about? Yeah, like the frakking Geneva Convention would declare war. ;) Okay, I need to stop poking holes in RTD's imaginary utopian global community that works SOOO well together. :P

NOW. TORCHWOOD + SARAH JANE SMITH & Co. = EPIC WIN! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

BTW, I thought the credits for this episode were crazy amazing. YAY for super fast many name credits!

AND I loved ALL the theme songs of all the different companions and people brought BACK for this. OH MY GOD. Even Harriet's was brought back. *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* Okay, I'm a nut for Murray Gold and Doctor Who. :P

Mr. O, I ADORE Luke. :P He's pretty much the reason I watched Sarah Jane Adventures. ;) And I'm much older than he...so that is a little disturbing on my part. :P But he seems to have grown up a little....I did love Sarah's line, "I wish you'd stop giving that fanfare and just tell me!" YAY! Even though I love Mr. Smith. :P

I have to say, at the end with Sarah Jane in her car trying to find the Doctor, that moment when she SLAMMED on the brakes behind the Daleks just made me LAUGH and shriek at the same time. You know why? Because I would've done the EXACT same thing. Like, I would've slammed on my brakes PRAYING to the proverbial god and angels that the Daleks didn't hear me. And THEN, I would've done EXACTLY what she did when they DID turn around...I would've surrendered and apologized profusely. How FUNNY! :P Yeah, I'm really random. But I thought that was great that that was exactly what I would've done. :P

IANTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD. "No broken bones. Slight loss of dignity...no change there then." :notworthy: OH MY GOD. LOVE. :P Ianto is so my hero. He needs to be like...EVERYWHERE! That reminds me, when Ianto was shaking and like almost dropped the coffee during the surrender, oh man! I wanted to give him a hug SOOOO BAD! IANTOOO! <333

I also have to say, seeing all of Torchwood there was just .... AHHHHHH! SO AWESOME. I don't know, it just felt so good to see the Torchwood logo above the couch...on DOCTOR WHO. :D

Ianto watching the TV after everything was amazing. IANTO LAUGHING!!! :swoon: :roflmao: DUUUUUUUDE. PERFECTION. When Jack told him to knock it off, I was like "JAAACK. Shut up, it WAS funny!" :P Mr. O, that picture of Ianto is AMAZING.

At the end, with Gwen and Ianto in Torchwood with the P-90s, WELL, all I have to say about that...was Gwen screaming the way she did just gave me freaking SHIVERS man!!! That was just like blood curtling....scare the daylights out of you screaming.

Oh, and I loved the bit when Gwen saw the Doctor. "Oooh. He's a bit nice." :P YAY!!! Doctor LOOOOVE!

AND THE VALIANT!!!! :-o NOOOOOOOOOO!!! The one lasting relic of teh Master canNOT be destroyed! DUUUUUUDE! WHAT THE FRAK MAN!! NO. :P I REFUSE to accept that the Valiant has been destroyed. :bones: *KARATE CHOP*

OH! And I can't believe Mr. Frosty didn't say this but RICHARD FRELLING DAWKINS! Awesome! :D

All I really have to say about Martha's return was that she needs to change her outfit. XD Because since she's left the Doctor...always that weird black outfit. Kind of bizarre. XD But I REALLY want to know about that damned KEY! I don't remember the name. Well sort of...it just reminds me of Haggen Daas. ;) What is it FOR!!! MUST KNOW NOW!!!

NOW. The Doctor and the Shadow Proclamation was much win! It was all kind of exciting the Doctor, OUR bleeding Doctor needed help. :P And when he spoke JUDOON! :roflmao: Oh my god. I was laughing so damn hard...and the LOOK on Donna's face was just priceless. :P Sure, NOW he can speak Judoon. And the Doctor going all geeky "space man" (as Donna called him)...was lovely. Typical that when something CATASTROPHIC is happening, the Doctor finds it to be utterly "gorgeous." HA HA HA HA! That's the Doctor I love. And wasn't the planet Woman Wept a planet that the Doctor and Rose went to?? OOOOH. AND KLOM!! OH my goodness, I about died when Klom was said to have been taken! :P "Klom?! Who'd want Klom?" And I hate that he's sometimes a bit rude to Donna when it comes to like...geeky stuff. I mean HONESTLY. She just lost her damned PLANET and you expect her to KNOW what were signs that the planet was gonna be taken?! BLAH! Shame on you, Doctor. But I loved the slow realization to the BEES! :P Alien bees?? LOVE.

So, I was sad that there wasn't very much Donna in this episode. Albeit, every other freaking companion was there...but still. :P However, whenever she WAS there, always BRILLIANT. I love when she talks back to people. MWA HA HA HA HA! YAY DONNA!!!

"I'm a human being. Maybe not the stuff of legend, but every bit as important as Time Lords, thank you." :punk: RAWR!

And then when she saw JAAAACK! PRICELESS!!! YAY!!!! JACK LOVE!

"Who's he?"
*points*
"Captain Jack. Don't...just don't.
<333

OHHHH! I've GOT to talk about Wilf, G'pa Noble. Favourite companion family member to date. :P He OWNS. XD I mean, how INGENIOUS is it to think of a PAINTBALL GUN to defeat the freaking DALEKS?! I mean, PERFECT. :P "Wanna swap?" I ADORE him SO much! He, Donna and Rose ROCK together. :P You know what I mean? XD

"Do you have a webcam?"
"She won't let me. She said they're naughty."

:roflmao: OH MY GOD. That was SO cute! And then just sent images of WHY G. Noble wants a webcam. ;) And then much more laughter ensued. :P

MOOOVING on.

HARRIET FRAKKING JONES. :swoon: Was SOOO not expecting that. But I let out a cheer so damned loud I scared the daylights out of my cat who shot straight up into the air. :P YAAAAY!!! Harriet! OH I love Harriet! Glorious woman! She was SO brilliant in this! Twas very lovely to see her again...and being as heroic as ever!! LOVE. It was lovely!

And her moderating Jack's flirting with Sarah Jane, JUST like the Doctor was BRILLIANT! *SQUEEEEEE* OH Harriet Jones. Still with the identification! LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE! I'll miss her, that's for sure. NOW, I have to know what this "Mr. Copper Foundation" is...sounds all mysterious like. And will probably be brought up some other time. :P

"Oh you know nothing of any human. And that will be your downfall." YAY!!!!!!

NOW. Onto WHY the Earth was moved. DALEKSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! *does happy dance* So, I have to admit, knowing that the Daleks were going to be back for ANOTHER finale...I was a bit....miffed. Don't get me wrong, I love them...but at the time I just felt like they had been overused. MY MIND HAS CHANGED. DALEKS OWN THIS EPISODE. :P OH my god, they are AMAZING.

DAVROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! :bounce:

Oh, random note, the guy playing Davros was in an episode of Torchwood. :D

But hands down, my favourite of the bunch, goes to CAAN!!!!!!!!! I WANT an insane CAAN! OH my goodness, he made me giggle and *SQUEEEEEEEE* like nothing else EVER has!

"I flewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww into the wild and fire. I danced and died a thousand times!!!!! ......... " :notworthy:

And just a random comment about the Daleks attacking...I thought it was really touching to have that father, that family like fought back against the Daleks when they were being "herded." It was just so...soooo...HUMAN. :P I mean, what is a brick going to do to a Dalek anyway? :P But it's the thought that counts. AWW! GO HUMANS!

HMMMMM. Am I forgetting something?

OH YEAH. HER. :P While we've all known about it, seeing her randomly, she spent an entire freaking episode with Donna...THIS was just unbelievable. :P You've NO idea how badly it made me miss Rose!!! GAH! She was SO COMPLETELY brilliant throughout the entire episode. :swoon: YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! :bounce: ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!

During the whole, Doctor Ex-Companion Reunion, I felt SOOO bad for Rose! :guilty: Oh my god, it was SOOO heartbreaking! BUT, I have to say, her reaction to Martha was PERFECT and PRICELESS! I wanted to give her a hug SOOO bad when the Doctor got through and she could see him and he couldn't see her. ROOOOSE! I am VERY glad that while he was so excited by seeing everyone, he still remembered Rose. AWWWWWWWWW!

Now, as for THAT SCENE. WELL, I was a complete disaster. :P Just the LOOK on David's face just about killed me. And then Rose's smile. And then Rose's THEME!!! :swoon: And as cheesy as the running was, I have to say I LOVED EVERY FREAKING SECOND OF IT. :D :D :D And I KNEW, I KNEW something was going to happen. HOWEVER, I did not imagine in a hundred years it'd happen to the DOCTOR! And all the slo-mo...and...yeah. I kind of stopped breathing at that point. :P It makes me REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY excited for "Journey's End" because I mean...we know David isn't leaving...or is he??? No, he's not. :P But WHAT HAPPENS! ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHH! This is really irritating. XD Especially since a companion is supposed to KICK THE BUCKET. :duh: NOT GOOD. BLAH. I hate RTD. :P But I love him.

OH!!! That reminds me! CONFIDENTIAL! HA HA HA HA! In the Confidential of the "messed up reunion" scene, they played "Time After Time" and oh my god, it was just as good as Rose's theme! And apparently, RTD thinks Daleks should be in every romance. And I agree. If a Dalek showed up in Notting Hill...would have been frakking AMAZING. [/random]

And finally, this episode definately highlighted just how much the TARDIS goes through. *HUGGLES TARDIS* Poor thing. HA HA HA! Just to answer a PHONE CALL and move forward in time ONE SECOND, everything explodes, and there are explosions in the TARDIS. SHEEEESH! HMMMMMMMMMM....I'm finding myself in this season to being more of a lover of the TARDIS than anyone else. XD YAY TARDIS!

OKAY. That's it. That's all I have to say. If you've read this far, you're crazy. And I'm sorry. :P My mind is a bit UNORGANIZED. And I apparently had a LOT more to say about it than I thought. :P

AS A GIFT, I would like to share a PHOTO of the Doctor's "SECRET ARMY". It's a bit...errr...improved from the BBC's website. ;)

I think I'm still in shock. But Monty, you about covered anything I could hope to say. =P

SPOILERS:
Okay, one thing to say. I'm reaaaaaally scared David's actually leaving. Because if you think about it, the past few episodes really haven't been Doctor-centered. Like they're weaning us off of him. But...there's one episode left. They're not going to kill David with ONE episode left, are they? Are they?!

If I recall, didn't they do that to the first doctor in Season 1, or did they kill him off in the finale?

Alas my friends, every Doctor must have his day. But I fear that the whole 'David-has-been-contracted-for-another-year-look-here's-some-pictures-from-filming-teh-xmas-special-to-prove-it' thing is simply a red-herring for His leaving.

What I am hoping for is John Simm to be cast as the new Doctor :P Now that would mean a) More HOTNESS on our screens and b) hillarious consequences.

Donna: What the hell's going on?! Why does he look like the bleeding ex-Prime Minister?
Rose: What, what is it?
Jack: We have to keep him away from Martha and her Family. God know's what'll happen if they see him like this.
The Doctor: What's wrong? Am I finally ginger? Oh, new teeth again. Still weird.

I had to wait five minutes to catch my breath after that. Made my day, thank you =P

[SPOILERY]

As for John Simms being the new Doctor, that would rock. But would Tennant-Doctor having his own severed hand there while he's regenerating possibly effect it? I mean, really all we know is that Jack got the hand at some point or another[as seen in Utopia - the look on Martha's face still makes me giggle] but we don't know WHEN exactly he got it, and there's been a few people that the Doctor meets when he's still Tennant and hasn't yet. Could be red herrings, true, but it gives me a little hope in lieu of my weaning theory. Although John Simms as the new Doctor would be almost as good as having the Tennant. But I would still pout through an entire season.

[/SPOILERY]

On a completely unrelated topic: where on earth did they come up with the term 'red herring' anyways? If it's glaringly obvious, I blame just waking up.

:'( OH. DEAR. TIME LORD.
The pain I was talking about earlier is nothing compared to the agony I feel now. I see a post with the word "SPOILER" at the top, and through some force of God (certainly not my own will) I scroll right past over them, but not without catching glimpses of phrases: "ex prime minister", "kill him off" "Sarah Jane". ((Sarah Jane? ))

This is wretched, being in America! I wonder if I could actually call up the president and tell him I'm being subjugated to cruel and unusual punishment. Maybe then we'd get our Doctor Who on time without having to wait TWO FRAKKING WEEKS!

Oh! This is so immensly difficult. I actually gave an involuntary sob when I had to scroll over MB's GIANT post. I love MB's post. THe smile's make me happy. But now....Now, I can't look at anybody's because you've all seen the end already! You know what happens! You're discussing it. Your jaws are dropping and I have seen ample amounts of "Oh my god!" If by some act of God above I am not already insane, I shall be extremely soon.

This is so horrible. As far as I know, Torchwwod hasn't even started frakking filming yet, and I have to wait until Friday to see midnight. Yes, I'm not even at midnight yet! This is crazy! I will go insane from lack of the Whoniverse! Go crazy, nuts, insane, bonzo, no longer in possession of one's faculties, three fries short of a happy meal…WACKO!"

Seriously, this is so difficult. I am impressed with my own will power.

As far as I know, Simms isn't in the running at all for the next Doctor, so keep dreaming. :P I'm hoping that they choose Rhys Ifans when Tennant leaves. He could pull it off. I'm really thinking that we'll get Tennant for at least one more season. And when I say "thinking" I really mean "if anyone involved has any heart, you'll give me at least one more season of him."

Amen. To all of it.

At the end, with Gwen and Ianto in Torchwood with the P-90s, WELL, all I have to say about that...was Gwen screaming the way she did just gave me freaking SHIVERS man!!! That was just like blood curtling....scare the daylights out of you screaming.

Yeah. Gwen is freaking badass when she's pissed and has a large gun. I love her.

Spoilers for Journey's End

WHAT? WHAT? UGH.

Really, this episode was sucky in comparison to the last two. Just not as engaging, exciting, or Ianto-filled.

While I'm sad that Rose is gone again, the fact that she has her own Doctor is great. I'm finally satisfied with the resolution of her storyline.

I was really hoping they would keep Donna after this season... but no. I get the feeling that we haven't seen the last of her though.

And I hardly paid attention to anything after "OMG. HEY, LET'S IMPLY THAT MICKEY AND MARTHA ARE JOINING TORCHWOOD SO WE CAN WATCH TIM4X SLIT HIS WRISTS! YAAAY!" *Vomits* At least Ianto is still utterly shaggable. The highlight of the entire episode was him laughing as the Earth was returned.

And am I the only one that's really sick of the Alone and Emo Doctor? Seriously.
