Hey Molly! I've seen you around the forum, and now finally got around to welcoming you officially!
Your acquired languages are amazing! I'm a bit into linguistics myself, but sadly don't have half of the list you do. How did you ever come to learn so many?
I hope you enjoy yourself muchly here! TTFN!

Hi!
When you live in Europe, especially in Austria which borders countries on all sides (and I lived in Burgenland, right next to Hungary), you pick them up I guess.
And I feel like a retard, what does TTFN mean?

Mae govannen & willkommen fraulein Vána! Encantadoa!
That mix of Sindarin, German, & Spanish can be summed up by a simple Aussie g'day! Here's to hoping you enjoy your time here!
I have to say after peeking at your myspace page that you have quite a good taste in music!
I believe TTFN is a netspeek acronym for ta ta for now.
I just say 'Cheers'!

Wow, nice elvish WOW-speak haha. And I usually call my mix of German and Spanish: Sperman. It makes me giggle.
Do you have a myspace page too? Add me! I have like twelve friends haha.
Danke für den Empfang und du hast eine ausgezeichnete Musikauswahl!

Vána Anwamanë wrote: Hello! My name is Molly, aka Vána, I'm 18 years old and I live in Florida. I'm originally from Eisenstadt, Austria though. I lived there until I was about 11. Anyways, I have a couple friends who mentioned this website, so I figured I might as well give in. And that's just about all I can think of to say, so, hello! A couple of factoids: ~I speak a handful of languages: German, English, Hungarian, Spanish, a bit of Russian, and some Czech. ~I have four younger brothers. ~I'm a sophomore in college, my major is Micro & Molecular Biology, and I want to be an Oncologist. ~I listen to metal, rock, indie, and ABBA (has own category). ~I eat A LOT, constantly, constantly feeding. ~Figure skating, singing, and ballet are my passions in life.
Welcome Molly. It is great to meet another fan. Wow, quite a fortune lies in your head thinking as how I have hard time speaking sometimes in English. There are several people who like to listen the metal and rock mostly though I suspect you would find people who are into metal as much as you desired to. Anyway, I hope you have good time around here.

Hi! Just thought I'd stop in and say hello...and that I LOVE YOUR BANNER!!! Did you make it?
Speaking of music, I like a few metal bands, such as As I Lay Dying and Demon Hunter. I mostly like hard rock, though.

Thank you! And I WISH I could have made it, but no, my friend Aliana Fae made it
I don't honestly consider Demon Hunter metal... they're like Christian metalcorish jumbo.
I like your banner too though, I was in a summer production of Phantom a couple years ago

*bows in honor of Vána* I do have a MySpace page. Speaking of music. I'm a bit bummed that one of my favourite bands may be breaking up after only one EP and one album. Glad I saw them live when I did. And I always found Christian metal to be more aluminum and titanium than steel and iron. Sperman? Thats sounds better than Germish! My rusty German picked up the first part, but I didn't quite get those last words. I do better hearing than reading.

Eh, make it tin foil, then maybe we'll be a bit closer. Heck, make it a piece of fabric. That's what Christian metal is compared to real metal.

I was being kind in describing it as light metal. I will say I quite enjoyed some of the songs from Leviticus's first two albums in the 80's.

Cool! You were in the Phantom? I haven't ever been in a play of any kind, since I can't sing...and I have no idea if I can act. heehee
Hmmm...well, As I Lay Dying is most certainly a Christian band. And they are definitely metal. I think. I'm so confused about the different kinds of metal.

Oh shut it, you liked it
And SilverRose, there are many many different kinds of metal.
As I Lay Dying is also metalcore, and they're from like California or something.
My tastes mostly include bands from Sweden/Norway/Poland, etc, and black, death, grindcore, or thrash metal.
[As for Phantom, I've got to say, that was the most fun I've ever had doing a show. I've been singing my whole life, and doing musicals since my first year of high school.]
