Haha, that's exactly what I thought when I saw wee Voldy. He's adorable, but has this evil-ness about him. He was a very good choice.

I would love to go as the whole black family! But all my friends are Gyrffindors, I actually know twins and they will be Fred and George of course!

That's brilliant! Oo, I knew you'd like Makani's work. She's a genius. I almost met her this summer whilst in the U.S. We were at the same HP convention together and I didn't even know it. I suppose that's all right because I totally would have fangirl-ed all over her if I'd seen her.

Makani has some freaking awesome art. Ooh, I'm getting so excited! I think this movie will actually be the closest to the books since Chris Columbus left. It'll have to be, there's too much important stuff. And JK didn't have any "fluff" type stuff really in it. Well, except for the romance. Which we know they'll have, because movies nowadays cannot survive without it, apparently.

On an unrelated note, Lar your icons are hilarious! That site is good.

Oh her stuff is brilliant, my new favorite Harry Potter/ Malfoy fanart drawer person.. It better be close to the book, because there really was so much in this book... it's like the history of Voldemort and such and really needs to explain a lot... I can only hope it all works out.

I'm kind of excited for the movie, OotP is my favorite book, with DH as seocnd and HBP as my third. I have igh expectations, obv. The trailer looks extremely promising, and it's always nice to see the extremely dark side of HP. Young Dumbledore reminds me of Barbossa from PotC...

Ahem. FM, for one, was very, very disappointed in this trailer.

All we got were glimpses of Voldy, Harry, and Dumbledore! The book is called <i>Half Blood Prince</i>, not <i>Harry Potter and the Dark Lord</i>. And do we see Snape once? I mean... not even a voiceover or anything. So I'm just saying now that I hope they give SS the amount of screen time due him.

It's only a teaser trailer, and the book is about Voldemort and the Dark lord quite alot... sure I was shocked not to see any thing of SS... but that would just give clues to who the half blood prince is..

I think it was a brilliant trailer, giving it the dark creepy feeling in hopes of what the movie will be like... Just wait till the real trailer... if they don't show any thing of SS or the Half Blood Prince potions book or something... then I will be dissapointed.

Well, true that Pan. And perhaps I was a bit harsh - I did enjoy the tyke they cast for Voldy (he looks like he's going to be brilliant) and I thought overall the little snippets looked promising. I was just counting on a bit of Snape/Harry interaction, since I felt like OotP rather cheated us on a lot of that... and I'm scared this one will too.

Anyway, I guess I shall just keep hoping for the best until the real trailer.

No, I was upset at first when I saw no Snape/Harry, but then I realized that it was just the teaser, and in the actual book there is a more Dark Lord past stuff than anything and the HBP is only a small snippet in actuality... but I do hope they have a lot of Snape/Harry in the movie, because like you said FM... we were cheated *grumble grumble*

The cards look great, I'm excited about Tonks/Lupin as well, they were always my favorite couple.

@ FM: Yay! I'm glad someone brought up the lack of Snape in the teaser trailer. I was going to bring it up but thought you'd all be expecting me to mention it first, so I waited. The title is literally Harry Potter and Severus Snape, so where the bloody heck was he? They better not cheat him out of his scenes like they usually do.

There is much that needs to be in the movie, so much and I only hope that they choose the most important parts of Voldemort/Tom Riddles past, Severus Snape, and I really think the locket needs to be brought up or something... I almost cried when the fifth movie showed nothing of the locket seeing as it was a huge question on all of our minds during the book...

Who is this mysterious R.A.B... I just hope we get a little bit of it in this movie amongst Severus and Voldy...
